Zero points from both Cherki and Gvardiol, the former who didn't even come on at all. It would have been much better for me if Maresca didn't bring on Gvardiol, maybe i would have been lucky to get points with my sub on the bench.

Now that Foden is back from suspension, it's hard to hold on to Cherki. Maresca likes Foden so much, so they would share minutes and that's not good for managers like myself who has Cherki. I guess it is time for me to play my Wildcard, i need to make a couple of changes to my team and my FT's cannot cut it.

You are right, Manchester City do rotate their team frequently but I did not expect both Semenyo and Cherki to start the match on the bench. Gvardiol was not in my team, he was selected by icopress. Had I known Semenyo and Cherki would be on the bench, I would have chosen other players. Sometimes we get it right and pick the best players and sometimes we get it wrong even with the best of intentions.

In order to avoid that feeling about whether your players will remain in the starting line-up during rotations, maybe it is better to select players from smaller teams (as big teams have much larger squads).

It is easy to be smart after the line ups but you guys can't really be surprised about Cherki and Gvardiol benching? I mean Foden was suspended last 3 games and that is why Cherki had such good minutes. While Gvardiol was already benched a week ago.

It is always the same with City, plenty of great players but all are rotation prone. You know what you are getting into, I just can't be bothered since I hate that feeling when you are waiting for line ups to see if your asset starts.

You don't have to, it's common with City you just have to be careful with their assets- You're better off with just Halaand; the rest of the positions are highly competitive, and there will always be some rotations.

I mentioned that Enzo Maresca was going to rest half of the team since there was no point in going all out against a weak Ipswich side. Halaand+ 10 woods was enough

Well, he's useless, I sacrificed Barry for Fulham fixtures and all I've gained from him since I bought him is match appearance's points. No assists, no goal he's out of my team for good. Never getting a Fulham assets.

He could have been a great differential but turned out not so good. I'm trusting Arsenal boys to do something tomorrow.

Haaland also looked to be in discomfort at the end of the game, but Maresca confirmed that he is fine. However, it could mean Haaland would get some rest pretty soon, but it is hard to guess the game Maresca would start Erling from the bench.

I believe it's no news that Man City were going to rotate for sure, that why a match against Ipswich which everyone would have been drooling over just felt like another fixture on the scoreboard while at the same time Haaland triple captain was an overly popular move.. Until there is an injury for Semenyo or Doku, only then would I pick up the other one, right now only Donnarumma, Guehi and Haaland are nailed, and the former two are not worth touching for any reason whatsoever.

Szobo was a doubt, he started the match then pick up an injury proper... Glad I made the switch, the next on the chopping block for me is Wissa, he's outlived his usefulness on my team, but I'd be keeping a very close tab on if the switch would be for Isak or back to DCL, I'm just done hoping for a miracle to happen with Wissa, at first I was making excuses for him that he wasn't playing as no. 9 and that's what's hindering his return, but it seems it doesn't matter where he plays now, he's just shitty and with the entire Newcastle team, but for now Hall stays.

I noticed the Semenyo injury issue, my team will revert to my previous selections when the Free Hit ends therefore I will have to replace him. It is an issue that can be solved if I use the Wildcard chip.

I didn't watch the game but from 3-1 to 3-2 says a lot about City performance against the weakest team in the league - a rotation that almost backfired 

I've seen a lot of City's games this season and not once did their RB or LB invert into the midfield, I mean that's was Enzo Maresca game plan at Chelsea; why is he not using the same tactics at City ? Was that bald fraud using Chelsea for experiments? He tried so many game plan with us lol

Cherki and Gvardiol are on the bench. But I can’t believe that Foden—who hasn’t played a single minute—has gone straight into the starting lineup.

As someone on Reddit put it: "I'm never touching a City asset that's not from Norway again."

I guess you missed it. Trofo hinted us here that Marezca said Foden was to score. He concluded that the statement was a confirmation of his spot on the starting xi.

That was when I transferred Cherki out and brought in Foden. A decision I am proud of, even when my brother persuaded me on gun point to replace Foden with Rogers.

Rogers is on fire, having Chelsea trio of Rogers, Palmer and Pedro was a risk many took. I settled with Palmer and Pedro

I would say that many of the managers here have been having this fear of Manchester City rotation in the early stages of the season most of us having been confident that there will be rotation crisis but the major problem was who would it affect. My affected player was Gvardiol and I would say I wasn’t too surprised because a fit Guehi and Nico O’Reilly was always a treat to his minutes. But Semenyo minutes look nailed not until city signed Ndiaye and I was sure someone said once there is availability of both Ndiaye and Doku, then Semenyo would face minutes problem. Cherki’s own was clear from the start of the season because it was clear he and Foden would share the 10 position but Enzo Maresca was clearly leaning towards Foden more most especially after naming him as his top three important city players when he took over.

I think now aside Halaand and Donnarumma there is no city player that will be nailed on minutes again and it’s now back to Pep old days where managers avoided city assets due to rotation problems.

I had both King and Shade on my team, opted to take one of them off for Manzambi after his great outing against Fenerbahce in the champions but I was a little bit worry about Aston villa inconsistent and the fact that they play away to Newcastle. Ended up sticking with Shade who I read was earlier on cleared to play only for the lad to start from the bench and still picked up a yellow card. Same Fulham assets who we all brought in because of the games against promoted sides, so far so good King has been bang average

I really don't want to regret my decision of taking out Bruno for Rogers. I think I made the decision just too soon; I should have waited for this GW. I was just too disappointed in Manchester United now I am hoping my decision does not come back to hunt me.

Against Nottingham Forest, I doubt we can hold a clean sheet. It just feels like one of those games where we are going to struggle to get the win, but not with a clean sheet.

The Chelsea trio did nothing despite winning 2:0 away against Everton. I'm mostly happy that Rogers didn't do anything because I simply don't have the money to bring him into my team. Brighton are 3:0 up for now, but nothing from Gross. Still, there's plenty of time for him to shine, whoever they're playing.

Triple captain was a must in this round for everyone that had this chip left. Everybody who had him got really a boost on their points,i had him on captain but still he was too close to getting that hat trick. I had Rogers and Palmer and both destroyed me honestly,as the rounds go im worst and worst. Gross even got a yellow card and its 4-0 now for Brighton

Well, selling Wissa for DCL, and yes I know it's me being a sheep but best decision ever. Wissa was supposed to be a differential but couldn't stand him (not his fault) after sticking with him for so long.

Actually also can't stand Gross and Cuyper, taking up space in the squad but everyone's got them. And the gap to the top keeps getting bigger.

Bruno Fernandes with another stinker again. 1 point in the last gameweek and 1 point again today in gameweek 7, bro is killing me in this pool. And what's worst is that whenever i try to replace him, i tell myself that i should give him a few more chances and see what happens, and then the circle continues.

I only take solace in the fact that i wanted to swap him for Cole Palmer, who also didn't do anything against Everton, so yeah.

Heh, I finally put both Brighton fellas in the team, they win 5-0 and basically don't do anything significant.
Yeah, I know - everybody's got them, wouldn't matter if they scored 2 goals each, but still funny. They could have had these games earlier when I was one of the rare ones without them.

Other than that, Gonzalo is a waste of space. Mbeumo scoring in 2 consecutive games helps a bit - other than that, I'm not doing that good.
