I'm the stupidest person among 27 people joined in this fantasy premier league game. I mistakenly signed N. Forest player Jota Silva instead of Diogo Jota from Liverpool. As the shirts of these two teams are also similar, I didn't realize it until the matches started. I found out the harsh reality after Diogo Jota scored a goal.  

Damn, this cracked me up good   Didn't even know that guy existed.

Thanks for sharing. Maybe consider hitting Fantasy disasters profile on Twitter. Not as costly as most of them there but way more funy.

I find it extremely funny too and to think this doesn't even seem like a rookie mistake to be honest because, if you didn't setup an initial draft and go over every fortnight, anyone could have missed this, I easily could have been in his shoes, and the biggest give away would probably have been if it was a 4.5m price tag player, weirdly unknown player from Nottingham Forrest MD with a 6.0 M starting prize tag ? Damn!


However, those are some hilarious post on FPL disasters X account tbh, I'd give it up to Joe Willock bench boost, he was in a position to have known better wouldn't you agree ?

A -4 points hit decision this early into the season is a Capital NO for me, you have 6.0m for him and 1.5 in the Bank, You could still get the real Diogo Jota for 7.5m or a cheaper one of your choice with your free transfer, perhaps ride it out for this game week that way you'll have 2 transfers for next game week incase you prefer an upgrade  upfront or in your defense. If by chance you've already made use of your free transfer for this week, I don't think I'd still take -4 points hit for a transfer, not especially when you have a complete set of 11 players that are bound to start their respective fixtures for the game week.

Ideal situation regarding Solanke for me, I was aiming to get him for GW5 anyway. Might be getting him cheaper now and surely ain't gonna be more expensive.

If fit Quansah can't get more than 45 minutes of game time against Ipwish, what hope do I have that he'll start the next game? The problem is that I have nothing left in my bank and can't get a 4.5 player anymore.

He was replaced due to tactical reasons, and has a minor knock so is doubtful for GW2.
With him I'd wait a bit more, he can be replaced with a 4mil player that is playing - and there are some of those around.

That makes two, with guarantee minutes I really see him as the Haaland immediate step down. I was rather waiting for how he would perform in game 1, I guess bullet dodged for now, I can navigate through game 3-4 with ease now, I just need 2 blanks from Haaland.

I was assuming myself smart because of getting Solanke for my squad early. However the injury news has ruined all my plans. Even though it isn't a thing I like at all, I had to make a transfer by spending 4 points. As there were so many people who recommended Fulham player Muniz, I chose him.

As I said to you before as well, you should make Jota captain and use the triple captain boost.

Slow Sports News is regularly tweeting fake BS using recycled aged news pieces, like Xabi Alonso going to Bayern and Marcus Rashford winning Player of the Month in the past year alone.

Why anyone would make transfer moves with just Twitter is unknown to me.

Solanke will probably be back after the September international break.

When the fantasy football world is thinking of going for the triple captain chip on Haaland in this game week.. you choose to fall for this fake news, ouch 🤕 tbh at this point anybody that fell for this has themselves to blame for not verifying the news !!
And for manager's like myself am hoping i won't regret not having him because so many people see this to be a high scoring match because his fit, no other competition commitments, and currently the only top man Pep can rely on with Alvarez out of the picture and possibly will play a full 90 minutes.

As there were so many people who recommended Fulham player Muniz, I chose him.

Fulham have a good home record, and Muniz too. Their next fixtures actually look good too, like games where Muniz will score goals. They play Ipswich next in GW3. I should have thought about all this before choosing Vardy for Solanke. Some people went for Zirkzee based on his from GW1. He is not in the starting lineup against Brighton, but he will have his minutes again.

ETH is planning to strike from the bench again for the second consecutive week, I'm pretty much surprised with both Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford in the starting line up, when he knew already has his best line up why bother make extra signings then

Almost fell for it, but everytime Halaand is hyped, he usually underperforms. A better week for Salah as captain, but I don't have him. I want Halaand to only score a brace so I don't feel upset about not using TC.

Okay, I don't even need the entire 90 minutes to come to a conclusion that "Project Bruno as CF" is just a perilous experiment that would no positive returns. Man United despite dominating possession and having more attempts were completely awful and clueless in the midfield, every of their attempts came off the flank.

Mason Mount is done, Garnacho and Zirkzee should both be halftime substitutions if ETH has any idea of what he's doing with this team.

Needs to send  Bruno back to the midfield, the CF thing is not going to work, dude was everywhere on the pitch, falling too deep and leaving the attacking space empty. Lol
