England were simply lucky; they are nothing remarkable; it was entirely Slovakia's fault; they shot themselves in the foot with their early defensive tactics; they could have gotten more out of the game if they had continued with the counter-attacking football they played in the first half.

Eze and Palmer are players who should start, but Southgate is a wimp who will stick with the same awful lineup in the next game. Guehi's 7-pointer saves me from what was turning out to be a bad week.

Garrett Southgate seems simply overwhelmed by the number of options he has. I don't blame him for sticking to the people that he is very used to because his job is on the line.

Guehi should have been hitting 10 points, he has been one of the best defenders in this competition.

Same here, so many mediocre performances, at least I don't have problems with substituting players. Wouldn't want to be in vd309 skin. All his players did so well and now he has to decide wether to twist on some of them

Lol. Vd309 twisting  for greener pasture would be the end of him, he got almost a double digits from all of his midfield assets so far. Isn't that our dreams?

After missing the deadline to make my prediction on the first day, this pool turned into an impossible one to win for me. However even if I was able to make prediction on the first match day, I think my ranking wouldn't change too much as nothing I expected came true exactly in this tournament.

Ronaldo in this competition has not been his best, has not scored even just after coming from the SPL as top scorer. Had Portugal lost the game, that his penalty miss would have been the most talked about.

Pepe made a mistake in the final minutes of the extra extra time, Sesko had the clear chance, he could not deliver a historic win for his country, It seems that Arsenal dodged a bullet because right now I feel like he was just overhyped.

Although France has not been very impressive in this competition, not scored a goal from open play, only one goal from the penalty kick and then two own goals, Portugal will have a bigger test.

William Saliba has been impressive as always in this Euro, he marshalled Lukaku all through and disrupted him many times. We are going to see him against CR7.

It was one great goalkeeper against another. Jan Oblak is world class but as you have probably seen on TV, Diogo Costa was insane in the penalty shootout last night.

This was one hell of a brutal round, on average I see most fantasy managers scoring about 60+ points and am thinking this might be the highest scoring round too...and the top guys have remained consistent with their performance which sucks a lot!

Perphaps time to go with some YouTube lineups to remain competitive because at this rate need to try break into the top 4 and remain there, say FPL Fran etc  

Btw, just got to know of vd309 now, probably my discovery of the year and surprisingly is the same person doing some damage in the BSFL league, well played Mike!

Simons could have gotten you way more. Don't look at his highlights, he needs so much time to prepare for shooting, if he knew how to shoot with the first touch I think he could have netted 2 goals.

I really like him, I've been tracking him for a few years already.
I agree with what you said, he's really good technically and therefore trusts himself to take too many unnecessary touches.

Except for Guehi, whom I intend to keep, my team is set up, and if 80% of my expectations are met in this round, I will not be needing a WC. I only have two knockedout players on my team and 3FT to spend.

I wanna make a full switch. I have a decent team but if the games turn out how I think they would German and Spanish defenders won't be worth much and neither will Portuguese and French defenders.
I'm considering shuffling it all for QF and then hoping that for SF it goes my way.
