Italy looking rather ready to settle for a draw, and Croatia as usual looking short of answers, I'm glad Di Marco could make the starting xi after an injury scare earlier, he was doubtful to play as of this evening, he's not looked bright so far in the game any way, but if Carvajal could get a goal against this Croatian side, so can Di Marco, accompanied with a clean sheet and POTM... Dreams do come true, don't they ?!

Hopefully Maignan will be good enough to deputation for Simon and both my injured players (Trippier & Mbappe) are fit enough to start. Otherwise I have played my limitless chip and managed to take 3 non starters. Though to play this fantasy without any subs.

The heavy rotation was literally why I decided to go with my limitless chip in the second round, and I really would have made the most out of it, only if Croatia had kept a clean, I stacked on them heavily.

I'm sure we can expect close to this Spain's level of rotation in some matches too, I expect a few tweaks from England and perhaps a possibly more significant one from Portugal, but maybe Ronaldo would play close to 90 minutes yet again since he's yet to score a goal so far, I'm only glad that Belgium haven't secured their spot just yet so KDB and Lukaku should be good to go, good to go selection.

Maybe I wrote it a bit off, it isn't wildcard per se.

We have unlimited free transfers in R16 and 5M more to spend. That is why limitless in MD3 was a done deal for me from the begining. Still missed a lot since it is difficult to catch all the rotations.

I'll do my best to present a super-underdog lineup for R16. It will depend highly on my access. I will probably have free budget left over. I never know how to spend everything =p

These games are starting to be too dramatic of late such that pundits aren't catching winners, first it was a low scoring Spain yesterday, then we have Italy pulling the last trick of the day..and if it's today's games boy these boys are really out here going off script...A quick check of my team, jeeeez France threw away a clean sheet which I really  needed , then the Netherlands couldn't get a clean sheet either over Austria and boy these lads can play ball, I think Austria can win the Euro's as they are the only team giving it all.

I expected a clean sheet from France too, I have Kante some French assets that I expected Max points from, Kante had good chances in the game to try to score, but he can be too much of a team player sometime, and instead of trying to score, will choose to pass.

Mbappe should have scored more than the penalty kick that he scored, Dembele does not just have a good connection with him, and I think Mbappe plays better from the wing than through the middle.

Netherlands on their own side conceded more goals than I expected, not the points I expected from Van Dijk.

England, Netherlands and Croatia assets are pussies, the only thing the England team has going for it is clean sheets. I went with a double England defence on MD1 and MD3, and they delivered. But do your thing, you're the jinx! King BTW.

You can't blame Kane when Bellingham, the team creator, is sitting at the centre of the midfield doing nothing; Kane isn't getting enough service, just like Lukaku does from Doku and KDB in the Belgium team. To be honest, the England team needs more Palmer/Gordon than Saka.

And btw it was a let for KDB captains because had it not been for the "player of the match" award, we would be looking at a -6 points lost   Well played managers

I just looked at the Top 10 captain options, and more than 80% are on Lukaku or something worse; I'm not too concerned anymore because I might as well keep my spot.

I need a Jota masterclass in the second half. I can't believe there isn't a single ball-playing striker on this Belgium team; Lukaku is too sluggish and slow for Doku's pace, and the link-up play is poor.
