I forgot about the early Saturday game so was late to make changes. I have Son as my captain instead of Salah, and Son would have been transferred to Gordon, I swear.
Considering that Son is blanking next and they were away to Toon you know he's going out, and only options in for me were Foden or Gordon and it was expected Foden wouldn't play, so you know I'm not lying.

Shame, I had Gvardiol and Isak - could have closed the gap to 5th a bit. With Son as captain and no Gordon I destroyed my chances.

I didn't expect you to fall for the Foden leak; I was certain that the Foden news was false, and there was no reason for Pep to risk him when there were capable replacements on the bench. I left him on the bench, but he will be very essential in the future. I'm relieved I finally let go of Maddison; he's not worth it at the moment.

I'm not sure who I'm getting for Son; I'll watch the Liverpool game to see how Jota perform. Thanks, Klopp. I'm getting an auto-subscription for Keleher. Dubravka 6 points in the bag.

Gordon had two assist and one goal in the game and played full minutes, Had you not forgotten and then you made Gordon your captain, that would have been good points. Salah blanked today even though he played FT, Nunez blanked, Jota Blanked and Liverpool has lost unexpectedly to Crystal palace at the Anfield. 

Liverpool obviously did not recover from Atalanta's ass whooping! Good to say Liverpool are out of the race for the EPL title. Now the focus on Manchester City and Arsenal.

I finally got a good game from Mitchell - a clean sheet and an assist. Of course I benched him - he was playing against Liverpool.
Estupinan is killing me, he's got 12 points in the last 10 games.

Gordon was an expensive mistake, yeah - but at least Salah didn't get 20 points. That one would make me lose my mind.

It's a bad week overall. No one saw that Arsenal and Liverpool mess up coming. VVD couldn't keep the cleansheet and had a poor game. Arsenal assets that have given good returns for several gameweeks fell short today. My squad for this GW including a SON captaincy was pretty basic at best. So rather than blame players for the mediocre returns, I will accept it as part of the game.

I have Andersen on the bench for me. Since Foden didn't play, he would get subbed in. To think I preferred VVD to Andersen only for him to get away with a cleansheet while VVD was on the receiving end at anfield.

Liverpool's defeat surprised me more. After all, Aston Villa is the 4th team in the Premier League, why don’t they upset the favorites sometimes?
The title quotes still leave a good opportunity to make a profit at City's expense:

Nah, I disagree, Arsenal will surely drop points, Liverpool now have 3 league away games in a row.
City have by far the easiest games remaining and I think the odds on this are free money as well.

Developing the right strategy is going to be very important on last 5 game weeks. I think that especially double game weeks and boosts are going to be decisive.

Palmer is destroying Everton but I don't think that actually helps anyone, except those that gave him the band. All of us have him in the squad but there are few with captain band on him and I am quite sure one of them will be GW winner.

At this point, am just looking at for a best means to let loose Salah although, my hunch tells me he could have something cooking in the few weeks after a terrible return but, perhaps after the DG. Salah has been performing way below average and I had the foresight about this to have released him of my captaincy and picked Cole Palmer. At the moment, he seems to be the magic for the GW haven’t scored a hat trick against Everton within the first half of the game. Am so thrilled with my choices this GW but, not without a couple of bad options in Son, Gabriel and Peps continued selection on resting Foden. It’s a good week nonetheless.
