Ok the gamble didn't pay off, but as I said when RB Leipzig scored the equalizer the game was to watch for me! This one of those games that serves as a great example for teams to rather finish the opponent off for as long as they already have the advantage. The counter attacks were sometimes played erratically by Leipzig, but some of them were really promising. A great finish by Openda and they had like 5-6 of those attacks that could have resulted in a goal with some luck. Guardiola was pissed when they conceded that goal. On a bad day this goes wrong for Manchester City. Other than that I think I have seen the main favorite for the Champions League tonight. Their ball control is unreal, that's ridiculous sometimes. Alvarez' goal as well. That's why City is City.

Porto - Barca was such difficult challenge and winning such away game is crucial thing in whole group stage. It already looked that Taremi scored potential goal of the season,but it was called-off because of offside. I only hope that Lewandowski injury isn't something difficult.
Newcastle win can't be called as surprise, but scoring 4 goals, I didn't saw this coming. But it's well deserved win.
Dortmund - Milan - I only remembered about this game when I got notification from Flashscore about final result 0:0. Seems that I didn't missed much...
Shakhtar making comeback from 2:0 to 2:3 against Antwerp and Aldeirweirled missing last minute penalty - it's Champions league at it's finest.

For me it looks a bit strange that Antwerp is so clearly favoured against Shakhtar, I don't see their advantage. Especially considering their recent performance - 3 0:0 games in a row in Belgian league and getting completely destroyed by Barca few weeks ago.
Going with Barca, City and Atletico ML's. Borussia - Milan and Newcastle - PSG looks so difficultto predict, s, maybe it's worth to look for markets like BTTS or goals over there. Celtic - Lazio, usually I don't trust Scottish teams in Europe, but Lazio doesn't looks goodso far, so, I don't really know what to think about this game, probably I will skip it.

Exactly my thoughts but i believed to bookies  Shakhtar is underrated all the time, but I thought that maybe their affairs had gotten worse over the past year (after all, there is a war in their country) and did not do more in-depth research.
As for Newcastle, I was sure that they would trample PSG, but I was choosing between the score 2-0 and 2-1 (after all, PSG has Mbappe), who knew that it would be a complete defeat. Overall, the group of death lives up to its status - every team has a chance.

I also have my own biggest mistake too, that's trusting PSG to win the battles of European Biggest Idiots, Newcastle looked literally like a team from the England National Division against AC Milan, and I felt such team can easily get preyed upon by PSG managed by clueless Jose Enrique.

I've not seen a utterly disgusting match, that's from my choice perspective though, but if I didn't have any sort of alliances, I'd have enjoyed the match.

This was not a bad round for me at all, I had both questions with stake answered correctly, Braga to win with 1 stake and Barcelona to win with 9 stakes.
It is still very early stages but I 9th place in the table with 32.2 total points, but my goal is to have more points than my arch nemesis from Cro2 team.  
Situation is not that great in Superbru for me, but there is still time to improve.

Can we talk about tactics and strategy, and do you bet more on sure bets with more stakes, or you like to risk it more with underdogs?

Damn, not so bad for me in the 2nd pool though, I just see I'm 4th on the leaderboard, meanwhile in SuperBRU even with an electron microscope, I'm still pretty much not visible 
But It's still just matchday two, I believe it will equally be tougher to climb up the rank here when you supposedly have a lead the need to get conservative sets in, and 10 points in any match day will be almost enough to keep your pace alive.

Newcastle really impressed me at their first game in St.James park where they totally destroyed PSG and PSG despite all the problems they have they are still a very good team so big congrats to Newcastle for that.

For Milan I knew that they would have a lot of difficulties to win against an emerging Dortmund this time which showed resiliency and a great game play.Barcelona and City did their job too and Lazio of course I expected them to win knowing the not so good form of Celtic no matter that they were playing at home.Got some nice points too for this round got from 38 to 20th place.

I am doing nothing in Pool A but yes, you must pay attention to tag, do you have notification bot? Don't worry plenty of time to catch up, this round people really killed it.

I wish EPL pool OP is updated like this and BSFL. I can't even find prize details there lol.

I think 32 points is great and if you keep the same average it should be Top 10. I believe the nice spot is 15 points per round.

I was super sure of ManU losing, but I put another 2 stakes on Real just in case, to not end up with 0 points. My betting style as I mentioned above is slowly changing this year, influenced by forum members who share their bets.

Some styles are difficult to follow, you can't tell a strategy but some guys like Trofo love BTTS and buwa love underdog, so I am mixing like that. I like the underdog option more and more, but need more "skill" to understand when it becomes a good bet. Currently, PSG is very profitable since 1 year. Odds always 1.3-1.5 to win, but 5x-10x to lose. And you know, they lost 12 times this year already? Which other Champion do you know loses this much in 10 months lol.

Lmao...  I didn't watch the match but I'm pretty sure that's how I would feel if I was.  I mean maybe there's just something with me and watching some sport.  I don't really need to make a big bet or make a bet at all to feel invested in a match be it the UFC, EPL, UCL or a match from my favorite RTS game ffs.  

But yeah, would've been sweet to win with the draw at 4.8.  I think it would've brought me up at the table.  Lol.

But this is again another game that is so typical for PSG. They have those great players in front with Mbappe leading them, but they can't manage to score. The shots on goal statistic shows how passionately Newcastle tried to defend any attempt on target. Shots are almost the same, but Newcastle wanted it more yesterday. They were busy defending almost all the time with their 27% ball possession. But it should be said that it was also one of those days where everything worked like a charm for Newcastle from the first to the last goal.

What I don't get is how these experienced players from PSG so often destroy their Champions League dreams. Last time it was Donnaruma, this time Marquinhos played this cross ball in front of their own box, but the worst thing about it is HOW he played it. My god I think I would take him off the pitch immediately after freaking out for a minute as a coach.

Second goal was pure chaos and can or cannot happen. But was a nice dive in the end to finish it off with the header.

Third goal I think needs to be saved by Donnaruma. It is quite a common mistake, but one that can and should be avoided by goalkeepers of his category.

Fourth goal was the best! Totally losing balance and yet score the best goal of the day.

After Copenhagen beat United at home the logic will be clear  I have a suspicion that besides the fact that United itself is weak, some of the players are already interested in changing the coach, so they  specifically are not trying to get good results. This theory is supported by the fact that the United management recently supported Ten Hag - I always see such statements when there is a conflict between the team and the coach.

I agree that a draw in Milan would be a really good result for Borussia. However, they played at home and in such a difficult group, home results are incredibly important.
That's why I felt they might edge the win, I will take them againt PSG at home again.

It's not really a bet on Galatasaray, it's more of a bet against United.They are simply horrible, losing against the teams they should be beating easily.

At the same time, more people took home >10 points in this day than on MD1.

➥ NotATether won't be happy he followed up a strong 16 points from MD1 with zero from MD2. icopress gave himself a mountain to climb, netting only 4 points in Pot A and failing to submit Pot B...

➥ Some observations:

• Copenhagen - Bayern was the least popular pick, attracting stakes from only 3 players
• Napoli - Madrid was the most popular, with 21 players staking
• Porto-Barca and Atletico-Feyenoord players were in total agreement, with all 9 players on each staking on Barca + Atletico.
• the favourite underdog was PSG, with 8 players backing them. This is my second consecutive pick of the fav underdog, losing both.

I got an exact score with RS Belgrade I felt books were optimistic hosting a Swiss side and I even nicked points in other upsets but paid dearly with failing to sense PSG's complete weakness... probably fair I'm bottom half of Superbru and top half of Pot B.

Agreed I think the only shame here is that, just like Chelsea, books will start adjusting odds down for their opponents (the same pattern is happening for City after winning the treble, I miss days when 25/1 is normal for City loss). Chelsea way to Fulham was only 2/1 (I took this on accas because of the huge value) ... can you imagine that world?

Fucking City owes me some money I think  I was confident that all the clubs I chose (Seville, Chelsea, Newcastle) would overcome temporary difficulties (or temporarily overcome difficulties hehe) and give great value to my bet.
