Yeah I didnt realize I won the yellow cap. I tried to open superbru like minute after all those matches end but you know superbru's site is pretty lame when traffics are high so I cant even load the page and I didnt even know how many points that I got

Its been a while since I won my last yellow cap probably like 2-3 season ago on the EPL predictor so I never would have expected to win it especially in UCL predictor. I sucks big time on the 1st round so yeah I wouldnt even dream of winning it

It's never a good idea I think because it will force users to join the site. I don't think many will be interested in such an approach. I barely use a lot of sites, used to be sticky with stake back in the day and now have switched to another. I would possibly join but still would be less interested.

It also can cause problems because some users may not access Rollbit. Some gambling websites in various countries is often blocked because local laws and regulations. For example, I can't access most of popular foreign gambling websites without changing DNS.

This happened to me, I had to change the DNS first to be able to play Rollbit casino so it's a bit complicated having to always change the DNS whereas the other casinos are quite normal to access without changing any DNS.

I don't mind if this is a consideration for Pot B games to Rollbit sites will still follow the existing rules.  

I have been using Google DNS 8.8.8.8 for many years without any hassles. It works for Rollbit as well.
And there is no need to change it back to your local Internet provider.

Are polls not enough for you?  It seems to me that there are already quite enough of them, at least I even started to forget to make some predictions (like in this poll PotB in the last round). Plus, in my opinion, the Europa League and the Conference League are random competitions where the results will be similar to the results in the lottery.

Yes this format is great in the sense that we saw such amazing performance from slaman29 after he had the most guts from us all to back Galatasaray against Manchester United at Manchester United home when they failed to win in Turkey against Kopenhagen.

After Copenhagen beat United at home the logic will be clear   I have a suspicion that besides the fact that United itself is weak, some of the players are already interested in changing the coach, so they  specifically are not trying to get good results. This theory is supported by the fact that the United management recently supported Ten Hag - I always see such statements when there is a conflict between the team and the coach.

And it's not just because 'it's at home'.  It's at Old Trafford and United rarely loses at Old Trafford especially vs more inferior squads.  It just shows that the club is as in shambles today as it was after Ferguson left.  I think in hindsight it would've been better for them to have stuck with Moyes for a couple more years for stability before looking for a high profile manager.  I think stability was what Ferguson had in mind when he earmarked Moyes to be his replacement.  Moyes did have decent results at Everton at the time.

As for the pool I'm happy where I'm at.  I could've been a couple of notches higher if I didn't miss one day of picks.  :/

Yes and if they don't intervene right now it will become a bigger problem if they,the United management stick for a couple of more weeks or months with this coach,I never liked him since he came here.He failed miserably in Europa League last year against a very much weak Sevilla that beat them 3-0 in Seville and draw at Old Trafford,since that time they should have sacked him.

I agree,it would have been a much better idea to have kept Moyes as a manager as Sir Fergusson never missed a shot in such choices and I think there were clear reasons why he choose Moyes as his descendant.

There are really a lot of competitions this season on BTT, CL fantasy is also uncovered for example. The thing is that there is a fixed amount of effort you can get from people, and although I do agree that there is some interesting action happening in the EL and Conference league, it's not an easy sell to potential sponsor.
If you want to have a lot of participants, the prize pool needs to be large - and nobody wants to offer that for the Conference league.

Running it with a 1000$ prize pool where you get 12 participants is not something that sponsors would want.

Very strange results this week. Especially the defeats of Arsenal and Manchester United completely messed me up. I put most of my stakes on these 2 teams thinking they would have a comfortable win but we were wrong in some places. I think it's time to play more risky otherwise the gap will get wider and wider and I won't have a chance to close it.
I didn't expect Arsenal to lose at all, it was one of the most surprising results for me. This week I could only keep score in the Celtic-Lazio game.

@cryptofrka I feel like 15 average points per round is enough for a prize. 25 for top 5. But only for group stage. I think the huge odds will disappear for KO stages.

@casperBGD I didn't foresee this aspect of Pot B, that current results will force people to change tactics and still allows for multiple strategies. I like it. Pot A you can't really go all out, you just have to hope your scores are exact.

@rohang don't give up. 10 points on Copenhagen gives you even better odds than Galatasaray... almost 10/1 at time of writing. Free tip, for easy 100 points, everyone?

@slaman29 UL and ECL are pretty big, but probably as cryptofrka says, not enough to get more than the dozen or so diehard gamblers who throw money on nonsense sidebets haha.

English, Spanish, Italian and of course UCL football are easy sells -- everyone watches them, they have all the stars and visibility so sponsors have a clear picture of what to expect. All respect to cricket but if we try to run EL and ECL, we might get similar participants.

A secondary issue, but maybe as important -- if you only knew the amount of work behind the scenes just to get people to pay a nominal fee for a lot more in entertainment and prizes in the regular pools, you might have a better clue too as to why there was almost no UCL pool in recent seasons (they ended up both being big prize pots but that also was down to behind-the-scenes wrangling).

You remember the early seasons of EPL/UCL? Trying to get people in, trying to find sponsors... it's not as easy as it seems without a big prize. Catch 22: No big prize, not a lot of people. Not a lot of people, no big prize.

To some extent, BSFL and Pot B are trying to remedy the situation, trying to create more value, to attract more interest so it's not just a cycle of pool repetitions.

In summary, there must be effort put in, but only a few willing or able to put in that effort. For me personally, these pools are, in part, a labour of love. I feel it was the same for hilarious and EPL, cygan in Bundesliga, Cro2 in BSFL, icopress in FPL, CLS63 for F1, and whoever it is doing paid cricket pools (is there one this year?) haha.

That all said, I'd be happy to support anyone who wants to do those pools, but be prepared to be disappointed at least with your first attempt

It was close until Gravenberch scored at 44' minutes but yeah I was abit hasty on getting my bets as I could have chosen another bet on the weekend with that because it has 7 days expire period

I already thought that it will be terrible matchday for me, but some late result changes improved my situation a bit. Real win against Napoli - how many times in recent years they won games in similar way. They have that mentality. Union - Braga wasn't less exciting. In general, Union played better, but when score was 2:2 I already didn't expected to see any changes and here comes late Braga goal that brings them win. Inter 1:0 Benfica, it's unbeleavable how Inter won just 1:0, they had so many chances.
MU - I have no words about them. Before game I said that I wouldn't expected if they will fail to win, but I had draw in my mind, not Galatasaray taking win at Old Trafford. Especially after I saw how bad Gala looked again Copenhagen.

He recently said that he offered to buy Haaland, Rice, Bellingham and Caicedo, but his wishes were not heard. Moreover, this was when the price for Haaland’s transfer was only 4.5 million euros (LOL). Solskjaer was able to discern talent and a great future in these players, but unfortunately he was not allowed to realize this.

It seems that Manchester United management have made big errors especially regarding Haaland with that ridiculous amount of 4.5 million euros and they got Ten Haag which since he came he had his own ideas which have not at all been translated to a successful Manchester United so far.

For me any other coach would have been better than Ten Haag,a coach would listen to the players more and change or adapt to their necessities to play like the players want,I have seen a couple of Manchester United games and honestly I am not impressed at all by the quality of the team which has not yet a super star striker,they miss one really badly here.

There will probably be some huge odds available early on in the knockouts. But yeah, positions need to be defined before the QF's, and defended from there on.

I know for sure there's so much hard work from everyone involved, I never overlooked that, but I was just suggesting, in case you guys join power and collaborate, for a new event in future (to combine small participants for bigger number of players), and combine expertise, it could work minus Superbru

For sure I will join it, and help to promote it, I do for the pools anyway but I think even participants must make small effort. If one brings one, 50 = 100

I think, because of freebets and even 1 prize I cover everything. Last season was close, my EPL prize covered all my fees everywhere else. Freebets are where my gains come

If Bayern Munich had scored one more goal in the Copenhagen vs Bayern Munich match, I would have taken 3 points. Bayern Munich struggled away and even conceded the first goal. Then they turned the game around and managed to win 2-1. Although they played more dominant in the first half, they couldn't score and that's why the score didn't come for me.
I had the same result again in the Barcelona match. Barcelona could have scored 2 goals against Porto very easily, but the fact that they could not get into a goal position and evaluate it was again a problem for me. There were surprise results, I have nothing to do with the choices I already made for them, but some of the other results at least had a chance to keep it closer.
