On the one side we have a club that was bought by a multibillionaire, with him changing club's name, colors and crest and was made for the sole purpose of promoting their main product and is basically the epitome of everything that is wrong in modern football. On the other side we have an underdog from a tiny country, with a long history of producing some of the finest football players in the last few decades and the club where fans (finally, after many years of struggle to achieve that) have a real say in clubs decision due to the club model.

I think that is a no brainer really, but that's just me. 

What a lovely story; get me the jersey; you have just captured my heart; I have always loved your tiny country, and my baby Knolldoll always sending me pictures. I enjoy it when tiny clubs make their way to European football to compete and host some of Europe's best clubs in their tiny stadiums, giving fans with unforgettable memories. I just saw the first day of games and never minded to check back on the second day of games where these updates were made and it shows that you need to be super bold in here in order to have a chance to win big, the 50 points during one week just proves that, you can be last and directly come in top 5 or top 10 with a result like that, I am also happy for me as got almost 15 points this week with my stupid over 5.5 choices so let's see how things unfold further.

In this forum, I always feel something special for my Latin brothers in football, whether it is La Liga or wherever in the South americas or even Brasil, was very special connection in these sad days of football, so I will always support you all, and like you said, if not for us saying good vibes for each other, who else?

I'm really disappointed even so many days after it ended that I didn't catch the big points, despite trying for it many times.

As was said many times, this is the Pot about being bold, and I like that. All the pools, all the competitions, it encourages safe play so this is the truely unique one where the most daring are the ones expected to win.

They got some balls right there going with the odd picks and coming out correct. Here I was celebrating my 16 points and then I look at the leaderboard and see others doing great numbers (points). It's definitely going to be a tough challenge.

Question: Saw a -5% penalty for users without any point for the week but I just want to ask, is it really necessary to reduct points for getting zero for the weeks predictions?  Isn't it a punishments already that the user scored zero for that week. Why we have have to reduce another 5% (reducing their total points more). I don't get the idea behind this rule (some explanations please). Next week we getting another round of the champions league, hopeful for the best outcomes, cheers.

It's been estimated (somewhere I read) that 13 points is the safety margin to ensure you reach at least the playoff, so for a handful of English teams (heh heh), winning their next match would virtually seal survival. All hands on Villa?

The 4 maximum points per market option increased interest and competition; last season, there was no limit, and some lucky bastards took advantage. I'm doing well in both pools this season—not the best, but better than last.

Rik! You're doing well in all of the pools this season; just remember to branch the Sherrif department after the season with a brown envelope unless you want to join the Mafia gang.

So far so good, it's been awesome. At first I found the Superbru pot easier to understand but in the last rounds, I tried out Pot B and it was easy.  I was the one over-complicating it. The fact that Pot B is odds based makes it the most interesting pot for me not just because of the size. You just need to have conviction plays (with odds) and double down on those convictions via the 10 points available per match game. Pot B is much more intuitive for someone who plays a lot of sports betting.

TLDR — awesome experience. Now that I've gotten the hang of it, I will be participating more now.

Thank you for the tag! I agree with everyone so far, very interesting format, and for me its remarkable because, all prediction games are the same. You have to pick the right result. But Superbru as we all point out, its pure luck and randomness, Everyone risks the same amount, but what you get back is totally random.

In this one, you literally get reward as big as the amount of risk you put in, But still you must find out where to risk everything

Another Hail Mary tossed into the wind. My last one was destroyed by Juve conceding in extra time, but you need only 1 crazy round to get back into the mix.
I was great from the start in both pots last season, will fail miserably in this one. I guess that's better than 2 seasons in the middle

Not really. I am very close to the bottom in EPL pool and even worse in BSFL so I guess some of that bad luck is being compensated here.

Very important game for Dinamo vs Slovan Bratislava next week, win is a must to keep chances of reaching the next round, but also for UEFA coefficient in order to qualify directly in CL next season (if we win Croatian championship (which won't be easy at all this season as Gattuso is doing a good job with Hajduk). Given our unstable form, its another game that could go either way.

You're in a good position on Alphabetical order filter.  debut season luck is gone now buddy, time to look out for yourself. You're tailing well in Port A though.

With my personal time coming at a premium this year, and not expected to free up any time soon, I'll be relying on keeping tweaks to Pot B next season to a minimum -- or letting someone else manage. Me missing my picks for my own baby last round was writing on the wall for me (haha).

Heard a little mystery about Hajduk Split, so I did some research and discovered that every club that beats them in European game inevitably goes bankrupt or is relegated. The last victim of the Hajduk Split curse was AEK Athens, who beat them in 2011 and were relegated in 2013. Is Dundalk the next victim? they're beat Hajduk at home this season. Keen eyes.

Actually, this is also the most interesting match for me, I think Liverpool are the most stable team in England now. Not necessarily the most scary to face at the moment, but definitely the one most stable.

And they get to meet the German champions. Both like to score, both hate draws. Sounds like a good game
