Liverpool are good, yes, but the playoffs decide everything. Even with the results that they have already achieved, I can't say that Liverpool are so dominant that they will be favourites against any team. In my opinion, the situation now is that a wide range of teams have a chance.

The groups stages aren't what decide who's going to win the trophy or not. Remember, with the old format that Bayern were always one of the best teams in the group stages but don't do well when they face other better clubs. Liverpool are favourites now but we have to see how others do in the playoffs and round of 16 because the momentum can always change after few games.

More teams have a chance but it won't matter that much because at the end, the finalist wil still be the clubs that have been there before with just few surprises. It doesn't matter who win the trophy, the champions league isn't losing it's credibility/value. Before any teams lift the trophy, they've worked for it and maybe had just few luck.

I don't believe any team has won the champions league without deserving the trophy somehow because being lucky only, can't take you from the group stages to the finals and win it.

There's a little experimentation going on with adding new markets, so in case anyone is wondering why the questions aren't out yet, it's because of this =) In any case, we are going to have to try a short format for MD9 (first leg playoffs) and more likely than not, the same for MD10 (second leg playoffs). Sure why not, if I had a freebet this is the game I would pick, just because of the odds and that Bayern don't seem that powerful after all in some games. I would also bet Real if it was 4x, but City being the favorite seems wrong to me also. Liverpool can rest, Aston Villa can rest (amazing), Arsenal can rest (not bad). City needs playoff. Who could predict this?

I barely managed to put picks in Pot B as soon as I got back from work, I would have forgotten but saw in the road that people were talking about Champions League games so I rushed and put the results, maybe I got 0 points but I think I put 2 and 4 points in few games as very few games are playing and most likely we expect low scoring goals game yet I have gone for over 5.5 or 6.5 or 4.5 whenever it was possible. I think most games play tomorrow from the one I choose but let's wait and see, I don't care much about Pot A yet I have seen I am near prize position there despite low prizes, hopefully to not screw up in Pot A at least as in Pot B is a gamble.

Also did mine after finding out that we were having champions league games today, so far I have gotten some good results for the pot A but for the pot B, quite sad I had to settle for 5.5 odds and I just wasted that points. Got the correct score for Man city Vs Real Madrid and expected there to be 5 goals in the game but the odds in pot B weren't juicy enough and only the 5.5 odds was. Man city are back at it again, just threw away another game that they were leading (scored first). Now I'm thinking about what Real Madrid will play against them at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for the return leg. Man city couldn't win at home, then is it away that they're going to win? City are out of the champions league.

Man, I don't know how to feel about Real winning. It was my prediction in BSFL so I'm happy, but I don't want them in this competition but we all know its their baby and they won at last minute, City feels their power once more. If the loss of one player led to such a disaster, then I have big questions about Pep's qualifications  No player is equal to the whole team and we have seen how other coaches deal with the injury epidemic, Pep has done the worst. The fact that he divorced his wife, with whom he had been together for 30 years, may have broken him mentally, I don’t know, but why did it affect the team so much.

LOL we had the exact same bet. I got 4 points on both Real Madrid and Dortund as well, to be honest not really expecting both to hit but just one is actually good enough for me.

Aside from betting on both Dortmund and Real Madrid, it sees we are literally on the same brain wavelength by taking no goal on Juventus-PSV. You had 2 points on this while I had 1 point so thats close enough. Pretty rare occurence huh but my result on Superbru sucks so yeah Im hoping to close pot B with decent results on the remaining rounds
