Pot B = Earned a pretty good 24 points by betting Real Madrid and Dortmund with the same 4 points. This is a satisfactory result for me although it is a bit difficult to catch up with the above positions.  

LOL we had the exact same bet. I got 4 points on both Real Madrid and Dortund as well, to be honest not really expecting both to hit but just one is actually good enough for me.

Aside from betting on both Dortmund and Real Madrid, it sees we are literally on the same brain wavelength by taking no goal on Juventus-PSV. You had 2 points on this while I had 1 point so thats close enough. Pretty rare occurence huh but my result on Superbru sucks so yeah Im hoping to close pot B with decent results on the remaining rounds

24 points is definitely a big haul in this kind of round imo, except we end up having a few “No Goals” matches, it will be hard to topple that, I had only 5 points for now, I went for the safe ride on a couple of 1.40x Odds PSG and then Bayern Munich Over 2.5 goals, with a point on Benfica vs Monaco No Goals, while a scoreless game between Monaco and Benfica would be beneficial to me here, it will place me at a disadvantage in the BSFL 😑

It was bad day for my superbru predictions, but I think I had better luck with Pot B, I am just waiting to see final results.
I think I had Bayern and Benfica to win so I wont be getting 5% penalty and every point counts.

I chose Feyenoord, but I don't remember exactly what the odds were, a little more than 3. Unfortunately, I only put 2 points on this outcome. I put 4 points on Dortmund and Monaco. To my surprise, Monaco lost altogether.
Overall, a good round for me, considering that I only bet on underdogs.

Disaster for me in pot B, my money was on the Feyenoord Milan game and the Real City, but well not gonna lie i wasnt so much confident in my picks this time.

Seems like going with more secure options was the correct one this time.

This happens quite often when players are unhappy with the manager and play badly on purpose to get him fired. But I doubt that's possible at City. It seems Pep has unlimited credit from the sheikhs and everyone knows it.
Maybe City are at rock bottom because there is inside information about the League vs City case? But then why did Haaland extend his contract? Too many questions.

Not gonna lie i dont have also the answers for that questions, but the whole thing is pretty strange. But i had seen this behavior several times.

Yes, Indeed! There wasn't much of an upset in the POT B to chase, except for the Dortmund and Real Madrid winnings, I'm not sure anyone had Club Brugge to win against Atalanta.. Luckily for me both of my safe picks were good, and I got 11+ points for the instead of incurring the 5% penalty, maybe we'll see some differences in the 2nd legs, as the odds should be even larger.

I really can get a grip in the POT A, I just keep tanking week after week.

In Pot B was a total disaster for me as no one scored over 5.5 or over 6.5 goals and so I am going with a bad -5% penalty which definitely ruined my run and now I am forced to go with huge suprise options there for recovery. At least things have gone somewhat right in Pot A and maybe I still can stand a chance there. Next return games will be very interesting especially for all Italian teams so waiting for next week adrenaline.

Yeah its kinda unrealistic for a game to go over 6.5 goals though in playoff stage but 5.5 was pretty close. I personally think its much more realistic to grab no goals on some games rather than forcing to take over 6.5 goals.

The main choice was Dortmund + Monaco and the remaining 2 points went to Feyenoord. Benfica is of course a good team, which even won the group in the previous format, but I am still surprised that Monaco not only did not win at home, but also lost.

Wouldn't call it upsets. Teams that were considered as underdogs played at home and there was no such clear favorite. Milan isn't something special this season, while Feyenoord changed their coach recently. And that Brugge win, I can't understand how such penalty can be given, especially on last minutes of game.
It's difficult to expect over 5.5 or 6.5 goals in playoff game, you need lot of luck. My perdormance in Pot B isn't great too, got some points, but I don't even look at my position anymore. While in Superbru pool I managed to stay in 2nd place somehow, despite bad predictions.

Im actually glad that Monaco didnt win or else you would have nailed all 10 betting points. Dude you are winning everywhere  . If only I didnt mess up on MD8, I would have been on top 5 by now by getting atleast 12 points on MD8. Few more rounds to go, we are getting to the point of no return though because once you mess up once then its going to be hard to catch up

As many of you analysed, this was a week for minor underdogs and secure picks -- Real had the best value, but BVB was also pretty decent pickings.

Anyway it seems the highest point in pot B is 24 and both myself and BABY Shoes had the same point so what is the tiebreaker for pot B?

@buwaytrees in case you are fulfilling wishes I would like to see both to score and ML options combined. That is one of my favourite markets when playing, odds are super nice for instance if you expect a scoring draw.

Either you hacked my computer or you read my mind... last night's testing on MD10 was exactly BTTS and 1x2 in one option... even if I don't actually bet on it, you're right, the odds are always more attractive if you think you know how the teams play. I usually go for correct score though (and put 2 or 3 different outcomes) when I'm really feeling confident.

I'm actually trying several options but some of them are complicating the layout (looks ugly and confusing) so MD10 might look a bit weird... but bear with us (well, joker_josue is the one actually putting in the work on the backend, I'm having the easy job of saying shit I'd like to him haha).

Equally a bad result especially Pot B was penalized although many had the same fate in this round as the matches were hard to guess.

The Italian team is indeed difficult to guess, only Juventus managed to win at home.

I'm really bad at Pot A, and I started getting decent points in Pot B just a few rounds ago. So far the risk is worth it, but there are still a lot of games ahead (without the point reduction like in Pot A) so everyone has a chance.

Results are out and I cant complain with 14.45 points in Pot B, from Benfica and Bayern winning their matches.
This is not enough to put me near the top positions but 11th place is giving me hope that I can do something in next rounds.
I need to take more risky moves in both pots and hope for the best.

Imo, you should just get it done for MD10 and they we will try it out and share our feedback. I've been yearning for new options tbh. So even if its not pretty looking, as long as it gets the job done, all good to me.

I guess what he means is if it becomes too ugly, it becomes too confusing, but I think buway you underestimate us, we don't mind confusing long ugly things, as long as it makes sense.

I mean if you think about it, if you're new to sports, even bookie pages look super confusing. I remember when I looked at horse racing cards, I didn't understand shit

Right everyone, the second leg of playoffs start next week and we've put made the questions available now.

Couldn't fix or tweak the way we really wanted to put the selections, so in MD10 Moneyline outrights won't be available -- instead, you'll all get 1x2 + BTTS. Not super ideal, but on the other hand, some excellent odds are on offer on this round. Each Match also has 2 questions (we couldn't easily group everything under 1 question, might be possible in latter MDs. It may be we continue this way or we fix end of season, we'll see. Every change we do risks upending the already stable backend, so we can only experiment and implement so much. That's what happens with free labour haha.

I'll trade that for the pot B because my picks are just going against me every game round. Got another -5% again and I think that's like the fourth time  which is so annoying. Just wish I don't repeat the same fate next week. I might be going with the less goals this time around but hoping not to get disappointed again. I see the problem is that I'm going more with goals instead of with which teams gets the victory. The odds are every tempting with the scorelines than with the actual victory so at times I can't help it but go for the odds in attempt to catch up. Best of luck to everyone for the second leg.
