I had Achraf Hakimi in my bookies bet, but am considering including him in this pool, but still not convinced replacing Dembele with Hakimi would be a good option.

So are you betting on the x10 odds?  . Im expecting most people to pick this because there is no reason to hold back anymore unless you want to keep the top spot but as far as I noticed, top 3-5 could pretty much be overtaken if those high odds betting options actually hit. Either way, good luck with yours !

I just discovered that all my picks couldn't win as they contradicting each other, so I'm already making necessary adjustment, it's going to be all eggs in one basket (for a team), but the least is going to be some 4-6+ Odds.

We will soon begin testing to see if everything is working.

I'm just getting to see how the pool prize is going to be shared, pot A is getting 30% of the prize money while pot B is 70%. Initially I thought it was a 50/50 split so I put my attention more on the scoreline predictions than going for the odds. The organisers knows what's best so no need for any arguments here. About the finals prediction. Yes I have said it before and the fight isn't over untill we get the results of the finals because the position is still open to anyone among the top 3. A correct prediction with the others being wrong and we get a new table topper.

Funny how the favourite here isn't guaranteed unlike with the other UEFA finals. The favourites for the conference league was obvious and the Europa too. I never had doubts choosing them but then the champions league is giving me a hard time. Still haven't made my prediction because I'm confused lol.

Yeah, as said above, there was demand to make Pot B bigger. I'm not against it, despite that I prefer Superbru pool. In Pot B I don't have much channces to fight for something there because the way I'm playing, I'm just don't going all with bets with crazy odds.
Don't agree about Europa league final, there were no favorite, both teams were equally bad. While here PSG probably is favoured a bit.

Statistically he is a good candidate to score but I kinda doubt it. I was actually expecting Vitinha's name up there actually. Vitinha is a good player though, when his forward cant score he normally would put in aggresive play which could probably resulted in a goal

Well since you are standing on the top right now, as long as you could secure few more points then I guess you will win though. In this case picking Dembele seems to be a better choice for you

These new changes will only come into effect next season. 

Because of the way the script was put together, it wasn't very effective to apply these changes. Maybe you can try to make some more adjustments. But the focus right now is to prepare a better platform for the next season.

Maybe @Igebotz is talking about the PIN thingie? Like why did we have a password system, can't we just submit our picks without a password? I kinda think its not possible tho, otherwise anybody can go and submit for us and we can 'complain' we didn't enter it hehe.

There is google form also that BSFL uses, that was good but it still needs a password (google) and some people don't like giving anything to google.

I also received this message for address check yet I think in Pot A we are out of the top 5 in prizes, also in Pot B and I see in the first page that just the top 5 will get a prize this year. I didn't see anything of prize distribution being the same as last season so I am a bit confused here. In case if they are for the top 10 which I highly doubt I have a chance in Pot A of the pool which is low compared to Pot B in prizes, anyway a prize would still be a prize. Still I hope you win big in Pot B and go to at least 5th place so you can get a nice prize as I see you are 9th there, in pot B I don't stand a chance unless Inter wins from behind tonight, that would be my only remote super slim chance to get high in the standings in Pot B.

I believe part of the discussion for this was also that the only way to make this format work easily and independently without a password was to have me/josue see all your submissions, and then only we could edit and change answers by you resubmitting forms.

Perhaps more importantly, privacy, which I think a lot of forum players find really important. The PIN is almost like a seed phrase for your wallet (well I'm horribly comparing it as it's not even close security wise haha). The PIN allows you to do everything yourself while also protecting your privacy (as email recovery is optional with this PIN). But it did require players to remember them (though really we only had 2 or 3 people who lost it).

Last season, we did very similar but since we had so many winners (about half the pool), trimmed down the prizes to 5 per pot -- this still means roughly 25% of the pool will be winners, which I think offers a good distribution without diluting the prizes.

As explained in OP, it's 30-70 this time instead of 70-30, between Pot A and Pot B. The 80mbtc is thus divided into:
24mbtc for Pot A
56mbtc for Pot B

So 1st to 5th places in each Pot:
Pot A
🥇 1st place - (30% of prize pot) 7.2 mbtc
🥈 2nd place - (25% of prize pot) 6 mbtc
🥉 3rd place - (20% of prize pot) 4.8 mbtc
🏅 4th place - (15% of prize pot) 3.6 mbtc
🏅 5th place - (10% of prize pot) 2.4 mbtc

I'm completely new to pools but would like to have a go at participating, so might have to ask some dumb questions along the way I take it this is now end of season and a new pool will start in September? Is there a way for people to see the results without signing in to Superbru? Not a big deal, just curious to see how the rankings are looking now and who are the experts at picking predictions. The spread of bets at 25%~ of participants instead of 50%~ seems more like you would expect from this competition, but as I've never entered this opinion is worth little! Look forward to when you start up the next one, is it possible to get alerted when that happens or we just need to keep an eye on it?

They're talking about the PIN... I didn't understand initially. 

The PIN is, let's say, proof that user X is who he says he is. Without this, and if the form were public and open to everyone, anyone could answer questions and say they were "joker_josue". Then the admin would have three "joker_josue" giving answers. 

Instead of a PIN being the BTC address? There is no impediment. Now, I find it easier to remember 4 or 6 numbers than an entire BTC address.

Why isn't the PIN chosen by the user? Well, to avoid two users having two identical PINs and forcing you to fill in more fields for identification. Furthermore, the PIN is like your ID on the platform. The PIN is used so that the answers are associated with you.

The purpose of the PIN is to control access to answering questions, only to those who are authorized. It is a way to identify in the system who the user is who is answering. It guarantees some degree of privacy, without resorting to sensitive and personal data.

I could adjust the system so that "authentication" is done in another way, but I think this is the best way to avoid using sensitive data, and to prevent third parties from giving the answers for us.

But if you have any suggestions, I'm available.

We haven't had any situation where random person submitted answers in BSFL for 7 seasons now- sure we won't have the same thing here.

I almost misplaced mine twice; the seasons before this one, when we didn't have to provide a Pin were better.  The few rounds I missed were solely due to entering the wrong password- had to do a big guess everytime. Are you lazy with 4 digits pin - Yes.

But if you have any suggestions, I'm available. 

Allow users to change the 4 digits pin to anyone of their choice or password instead of PIN..

If you're that lazy, you could have let your browser memorize the field. That way, every time you entered the page, the PIN would be one of the options to pre-fill. 

In turn, at the time of registration, the user is invited to send or receive an email with the PIN. It is saved in the email to remember later.


It could even accept the PIN change. But, instead of just writing the PIN to enter the form, you would have to write the user's name, for validation to be done.
Do you prefer to have to fill in two fields, PIN + Username?

In this pool there are two Pots besides in Superbru there is Pot B which enters the answer through the website developed by joker_josue, you can check in Op and click for Pot A and Pot B.
If you only want to see the leaderboard for Pot B you don't need to register unlike Superbru which requires registration.

Already submitted my answers for this final match for both Pot B also for Pot A which I no longer had opportunity to be in the top 5, because only a maximum of 3 points can be obtained. Also for BTC Address has submitted it.

Or you can just simply bookmark the entry page, you know the page that ask for our PIN then rename the page with your 4 numbers PIN? It works in phone as well and I have been doing this since I forget my 4 digit PIN sometimes. Instead of clicking the link that buwaytress provided each time, I'd go to my bookmarks instead to peek my PIN on the bookmark then click on that site

PSG have taken the lead under 12 minute and it is Hakimi with the goal!
