In my side i ended up in the top 10 in bot POTs but unfortunately outside of the paid positions, so i cant grab anything of the prize.

About the final i fully agree here with LTU statement.

If I'm not mistaken, 5:0 is biggest win ever in Champions league final. I'm not supporter of neither of these teams, but probably it's worst final I ever saw. Such PSG dominace that final score perfeclty reflects the game. Inter from potential treble to 0 trophies this season.

It was nothing to see since the start, i dont know what happen with the Inter players, they never played the game.

Nope it stays the same and yeah, you just need to bookmark then rename the bookmark with your PIN. Its way simpler this way

Never thought I could avoid penalties in all rounds, and penalties are one of the things that make the competition on the leaderboard open until the end of the season.

Actually I am quite interested to see what comes from new Pot B. I was even thinking, what if we just ignore Superbru and make everything on your own website?

And keep it logged in with cookie, like Superbru, then this way, everybody has to sign up anyway and people like @Igebotz will never have to enter PIN if cookie remembers?

This means all picks for whatever pots are all on same site too.

What I like most about this competition is the proof that something can be done without all the corporate shit we all hate. No Google, no email, nothing. TALKIMG is a success moving away from IMGUR etc. And now this is also another thing many members use that avoids using all the evil corporate shit. Sure we have to trust the forum members but isn't this what its all about anyway?

I would trust guys like buway and joker more than Google 100%.

But then you guys have to figure out uptime And do many changes, and I know you do this voluntary so we all have to really appreciate that you guys are doing this for free... so we actually have no right to demand anything

Just some suggestions, the pool prize should be 50/50 next season as giving priority to the pot B doesn't make sense to me but this is just my opinion.

IIRC most of us wanted a fatter amount for pot B, but we can always take another poll here. Me I'm happy with 50/50 or 30/70 like currently. Definitely not more for Pot A (which I won a prize but I still don't prefer Superbru).

I already said that, but I'd like to see cumulative 5% penalties - meaning that it's irrelevant if you hit it in the first or the last round.
If you have 3x 5% penalties, it is 15% off your total - so that hitting those penalties early on costs a lot as well.

1. Links are permanent. Only the signup link is secret, given only to those who paid. So you can bookmark the links.
2. PIN or account is necessary, only to ensure players themselves can enter and edit results. But we can consider having an accountless method, but then if players lose access, it will be quite some work to recover an account. josue, could we somehow make it optional to have an account? And then if player chooses PINless/accountless, if they lose access, they forfeit of their own choice? The somplest, if not most secure, way is as suggested. Bookmark on your local device and edit the information to contain your PIN. You need an account for Superbru and for Google anyway if we use those alternatives... having a pin means you keep your data away from Superbru and Google (and we prefer not to ask for anything more than your forum details and wallet address).

In theory, everything is possible but it might be pertinent to remind that this is a passion project that is completely unremunerated. Quite literally because we love the forum (aww). Josue donates his server space and time, and I give him a token contribution which is nowhere near what he should get paid for his coding. 100% of any sponsor funds go to prizes. From next season I'll probably see if sponsor can also contribute to josue's costs, but it's not something we can take for granted.

The existence of PIN is not just about replacing the existence of an account. It aims to identify who is really responding. Otherwise, someone could try to answer for someone and it would be very difficult to know which one was true.

I believe everyone is participating, they are honest. But I think it's always good to have some level of security to ensure for everyone.

I prefer not to use cookies, but I can create this option for anyone who wants to use them. Believe me, I will try to think about an option that can be useful and viable for everyone.

Therefore, the PIN will continue to exist, options may arise that help in its memorization or use.

Honestly, I don't see why not. We only had to fine-tune how they wanted it to be integrated, whether in a table of classification or keeping both pots.

Glad to hear this, I was actually so bad from the off that I didn't properly follow it. Shame on me I guess.

I don't mind the PIN, it is a nuisance to be honest (because we don't choose them so it's hard to remember) but there's plenty of time to submit so I just do it when I'm home - the browser remembers it.

It's tough to remember no doubt, no matter how hard I try I always end up forgetting, and there were a couple of times I had to alter my picks at very last minute while in transit, I had it on my telegram Saved messages, that was the only thing that made it handy for me.

If there was away to pick our PIN or at least change it, it would be better, but the website having a PIN is necessary in my opinion.

Maybe it's obvious, but that's what I ended up not realizing. 

Close score is 1 goal away from the real result, OR 2 goals away but same goal difference,while being the correct 1x2. For example:

Actual score is Team 1 wins 2:0
So Predictions:
2:0 = 3 points (Exact)
1:0, 3:0, 2:1 = 1.5 points (Close, with 1 goal away rule)
3:1 = 1.5 points (Close, with 2 goals away but same goal difference) (+2)

Any other Team 1 win score not in that is "Correct Score"
example 4:0, 4:1, 4:2, 4:3, 3:2, 5,0, 5:1, 5:3, 5:4 etc = 1 point (Correct but wrong goal difference or >2 goals away)

Last season, players were roughly 50/50 split between the traditional Superbru system and the new points-based system. My understanding is some people really like the casual Superbru style (you can just add a score and forget, while any other system requires a little bit of thinking/research). So we kept both in an effort to retain all players -- the only other option was to abandon one and hope someone else picked it up to organise/manage.

More to think about, but would anyone be opposed to ditching Superbru all together but keeping that scoring system as part of this pool? We can still split the "Types" of contests in one place.

I would go for this. But IIRC like what @buway said I think when it was suggested people go for Pot B only, half of the pool wanted Superbru, maybe I remember wrong but thats kinda the whole reason both Pots was kept.

I guess I can understand it too. Some people just wanna stick to the boring Superbru and others want a different challenge.

I like this. Just everything in one place but make sure to ask everyone too. Some people hate the PIN but like Superbru so maybe theres no choice but to make an account system

I don't see the benefit of that. Maybe I am bit stupid. Bloody daylight all night here in Norway killing all my internal clocks.

Anyway, why would you implement same scoring system and ditch superbru? They are reliable and easy to use. I would be up for it if you do something like place much more emphasis on close score. That is the one that rewards knowledge most in my opinion. Correct score is big part luck while ML is looking at the odds.

Yeah, I'm almost all 2-0 in my EFL picks if anyone noticed. It's almost an exercise of just entering 2-0 for all my gut favourites, that takes me all of 20 seconds now.

I know the pull of Superbru remains for a lot of people so would keep it just to have the players remain with something familiar but let's see.

For me, the pull of Superbru is only the sponsorship money. If we were chipping in without it, I'd never play it.

I would surely play BSFL, Fantasy, CL Pot B, Goal Madness etc because these are actually fun. Superbru is for me just a nuisance, I honestly dislike even doing it.
