Manchester United really slept on Greenwood, he's such a beautiful and amazing player to watch.

They didn't sleep on him, they actually liked the lad, but there was no way to save their image having him back in the club after the whole domestic scandal, the club had to save itself from some civilian war with both its home base fans and the British media.

Yeah, his career in England was over from that point. There were some protests when he got to Spain as well but they died quite fast. In situations like that I am sure there is a lot of cases when footballers get bad reputation just because some girl wants extra money/attention but in Greenwood case I think he was guilty. These days much worse things happen in England without consequences so maybe he could try his luck in PL again:)

It shows how toxic the English media has been over the years in not supporting players who are caught up in circumstances like this - the English media were all over Mendy's case but remained silent when he was eventually cleared of all charges.   

Sleeping and waking up with the lady who nearly destroyed your career is insane.  That seems to be the sole reason she dropped the allegations.

That's what happens to most of the young strikers when they have an elite target on their back, he was fine and flawless with Isak out of the picture, but now he's got to prove that he could be as good as Isak, if not better, that usually doesn't end up well for them, I'd say. I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong.

We dug our own grave with those dumb goals - an own goal, a stupid penalty, and a silly third goal.  I'm not going to blame Enzo Mascara for this; while others were bringing in decent CBs, we were chasing Gittens, Simon, and Garnacho, leaving our defence to Chalobah and Tosin.  When you make mistakes in games like this, you will be buried.

It hurts me that we spent that much money and didn't get a single world-class defender. Am I ever going to be happy supporting Chelsea?

While I'd blame most the goals and lead blown and goals concede on the Liverpool's defense, I think their midfield might actually be worse that it appears because I believe proper game management comes from the midfield chemistry and domination, but it's often as thought the only midfield they have in these games is Gravenberch, there is almost zero retention for a longer period, they always have a lot passes accuracy but most of those pass are just short passes that doesn't even help them dominate possession of the ball, the midfield imo often the first layer of any defense, without it, even the best defensive setup would always struggle without the ball.
