1. Please ignore the penalty point calculation in the TOTAL. It is a bug. josue_joker can't be arsed to fix it just yet. I will summarise the bugs once more in OP and hopefully clear things up.

I did not even pay attention much but the scores are correct,,, the leaderboard is confusing but I ignore it and see only TOTAL points 

Shitty performance in the league, a strong one in the champions league - I've seen this script before but without Angeball I don't see it happening again. I liked Son, ruined his career for staying too long, he didn't learn anything from Eriksson.

Angeball was perfect for Europe in the same way many great attacking coaches find success but strangely also coaches with defense mentality,,, like Mourinho

Son seems to be having a good time in USA but he should have been more decorated in Europe thats for sure,,, in his home country he is worshipped like a superstar

Agree with @cryptofrka. The penalties is fine. But everyone should be using the raw MD scores to calculate freebet, otherwise it means impossible for anyone with penalty to win.

But I'd go one step further and question the penalties. Odds are already perfect way to adjust for risktaking right? Why penalize people for taking more risk? OR if we want people to mix risk, then penalty also should be for people who take less risks. Punish both sides of extremes.

So like. Penalty for 0. But also penalty for a minimum score?

It seems I have completely lost the logic of scoring. Why, if I have 11 points plus 33 (for Juventus' goalless draw), am I left with only 20? A 23-point penalty for what? My total penalty is 3x5=15%, but I thought it only applied to the final score, and anyway, I didn't understand the math. I see that most people also have some kind of strange -20-point penalty. Where does that come from? I don't really follow the tournament table because I could say I've already dropped out of the competition, I'm just curious.

Sorry for second reply here. It's crazy how many people are confused in these latter stages haha. This is the same mechanism as last season, but because of the new display, I understand it causes confusion.

2. Penalty applies to your total score so you are correct: 3x 5 =15% on your total score. Your current matchday score is part of the total...

3. Count all your individual matchday scores and total them, then apply 15%, you will see your total is correct.

So in the end what is my MD8 total?
I see that I scored 44 points. Based on the rules:

4. Points are won if the correct outcome is selected. Points Staked * Odds and added to a Total. The Total is cumulative for all Matchdays.
5. Any player with 0 points won in a single Matchday will incur a 5% penalty to their current Total.

i should only get a penalty on Total, not MD Total.

Theoretically, I see three options:

1. The penalty is subtracted from the overall Total at the end of the competition.

I can't think of a flaw in the calculations here.

2. The penalty is removed from each MD Total.

This is already incorrect, as it requires retrospective calculations: if you received 20 points in MD1 and MD2, but then received a penalty in the later rounds, then you must go back in time and add the penalty to your existing MD1 and MD2 results.

3. The point deduction equal to the Total * penalty is removed from each Total MD.

This is a completely absurd option, and that's how it's currently displayed, but you said to ignore it, ok.

KTChampions, everyone. I've taken a look and wow, have I never been so wrong before. The TOTALs are indeed, as a few of you have pointed out, incorrect, and it is not just a display error now, the wrong TOTALs have been introduced for those with multiple penalties. I had checked it at various stages before and it was correct but I think now, with multiple penalties in play, the formula is broken. So what worked last season has somehow become broken thanks to the way we tried to display individual picks. The good news is, I don't foresee much positional changes in the actual table, since the top 10 players all have one or no penalties.

Let me get on with josue and fix this bug as a priority. I think we're just going to trim down the leaderboard to show less. The biggest changes will happen to those with multiple penalties, as indeed the penalty only applies to the total.

No problem man i know is super difficult to have formula who works correctly from the day one and is incredible how easy they gone broke after you start to touch it or wants something new to display, if i ahve problems in much tiny ammoun t of data i can understand with a much wider information.

I hope joker can find a solution who doesnt take so much time for him.

I simply cant believe that Bodo/Glimt can kick out Inter, but they already managed to defeat Manchester City and Atletico Madrid.
I checked the odds for outright winner and biggest favorites are Arsenal, Bayern, Barcelona and Manchester City.
Next round is played on 17/18 February

I personally think that taking middle ground should be pretty appropriate here.

Implementing penalty only when you get 0 points on betting, Flat 10 % should do the job or increase the penalty ratio according to the stages in UCL. Back then we had alot of risk taker hence the method works really well but now with only max 3 points as well as really punishing penalty, its pretty hard to actually catch up even if you manage to get that huge bonus after taking high risk option

Nice image as a summary, poor Bodo after the mighty effort they do to reach this next stage they were not granted by a good draft in this next stages, anyways is gonna be a good game for them to show what are they build for.
Maybe they can win the game on Norway and look for the miracle on Italian soil, we are gonna be cheering for them for sure.

I really think they can get positive result in Norway, on artificial grass and winter time, but I am not sure that is going to enough in Italy.
But I am interested to see the odds, and I am expecting to see some big surprised in next round.

That is the fixture I was looking forward to - Mourinho like it on the biggest stage and I'm sure he's going to make every bit of it count against Madrid. Except Arbeloa is coming with something different this time, I don't see how his going to outclass Mou..
