In theory looks like a great draw, but in reality the path to the final is much easier in the lower part of the draw.
After Galatasaray it is PSG/Chelsea, and on paper that is winnable.

The semifinal across 2 games in our current state is not. It will be one of Real, City or Bayern - not sure which one is worse.

All in all - I'll take short-term easy opponent - God knows we need it now.

Playoff teams getting easy draws and the auto qualified teams are meeting each others and getting the tougher draws - how does it make sense and shouldn't it be the other way around?

There's literally no benefit in finishing in top 8 unless you're the 1st. Wished we played in the playoffs to get easy draws.

Why are you minusing Barcelona? Just recently, this club participated in the Europa League twice in a row and failed to win either one. I think we should show respect to those clubs that managed to do so.
Regarding the Champions League final... on the one hand, it would be strange, but on the other, it would be logical (like that season when Chelsea, despite failing, won). Both Liverpool and Tottenham are doing poorly in the Premier League this season. Right now, I'm looking at the result of the game (a few minutes left) between Fulham and Tottenham, and I realize that my joke about Tottenham possibly being relegated isn't a joke.

Well you have to respect that they won it 4 times in last 20 years And ok ZERO in last 10 years lol fair enough,,, fair enough,,, I just wanted to downplay my own team's chances of another repeat final.

I hate to say but relegation is nearing the realm of hard possibility,,, Fulham were good though so we also have to respect that.

Now imagine if we survived relegation and won Europa,,, and this season we got relegated and won Champions League. Would it be the first time in history that a 2nd division team played in Champions League?

Honestly, betting on a red card doesn't seem interesting at all, especially with these odds. Even an own goal would have been better, but maybe some people will like it.
It would be nice if every red card triggered a multiplier... this idea came to me whith remembering yesterday's game in Brazil where 23 straight red cards were shown

Definitely not interested in betting on red cards (expulsions) as long as I bet at Sportsbook never bet on red card or yellow card bets.
I'm more comfortable with total goals only, I think that's easier to guess than red cards on which team because it's hard to predict.

I guess because Newcastle are exactly the type of team Barca could lose to, they usually can go all out on lowblock teams but can lose badly on countering fast teams with their super high line.

But our keeper currently has best stats against shots too so we will gamble

I was not expecting the send-off aka red cards in this round and im sure we can see some in the Galatasaray game but i ended up avoiding it, the odds dont convince me.

I went with the most crazy selection but after it i realize i can end up the round with a penalty so its appear is more a round to avoid penalty than one to real risk and cut points.

It will be a loss for the club that gets a red card in the first leg because the determination is of course in the second leg where all the clubs will die and play crazy to get through, in theory the first leg of the game intensity will not be high, so I believe your prediction.

If I remember correctly, the odds for a red card are around 4.5x, if you don't specify which team will receive it. That's unbearably low. Own goals were priced at 10+, and purely subjectively, own goals happen as often as red cards. Maybe not, but when choosing own goals, it seems we weren't forced to pick a specific team, so that market was more interesting. And I agree that no one will force the issue today, the favorites will try to play reliably and then solve the problem when playing on their home field. As for Atletico, they themselves are not inclined to take risks.

Less than 2 hours until kick off now in Turkey where Liverpool take on Galatasaray. I’m really hoping that we get at least a draw here. Great that Liverpool is on different time slot than Barca game because now I will be able to watch both. And you don't have to be crazy to predict that Galatasaray can take something from this game. They eliminated Juventus, have really good squad, while for Liverpool it's tough season. Considering everything I would say that draw for LFC tonight wouldn't be bad score

Barcelona are fairly priced in my opinion - they can either have a successful run or a surprising failure, so their odds are like flipping a coin and the bookmakers have simply reflected this in the numbers.
Liverpool, in my opinion, are vastly overrated. For me, this season, they're also like a coin that can flop even against the underdog. If Liverpool were playing at home, I wouldn't argue with these odds, but Galatasaray plays at home like they're on doping.
I'll try to place a live bet against both favorites, I hope there won't be an early goal.
