They are going to do just fine as the tournament progresses, mind you that the group stage of the champions league isn't usually all that competitive, especially when the bigger teams are sure of qualification and top spot in their respective groups, i expect the tournament to get more serious in the QF stage, the RO16 is usually interesting too, but when the competition becomes really intense is in the QF stage, so you can prolly avoid betting on the big teams till the group stage is over, quite a lot of them will rest their key players in their final group stage match, that's for sure.

Liverpool must have regretted ignoring Mane because at Bayern Munich Mane is a player who certainly has a special place at Bayern Munich. I am very pleased that Inter did the right thing today in the champions league, they defeated Vitoria plzen and sent the Levers FC (Barcelona) straight to the europa league where they are meant to be performance wise. While some people were very busy giving themselves false hope that Barcelona could still qualify for Champions League, withi 10 minutes of the start of the match Barca did not waste time to disappoint the people believing them by conceiving a goal from Bayern Munich super striker Sadio Mane. The vibe of the football is weak and I can confidently say that Barcelona has honestly performed poorly in this year's Champion's League.
Xavi should plan for next year if he will still have the opportunity to be the coach next season.

There have been 2 goals for Bayern Munich against Barcelona, and now their hopes at Camp Nou have been completely humiliated and it looks like Lewandowski will not have any influence on the match because we know Bayern Munich is too strong to be an opponent.

With some of the player transfers that he has done that have failed in the Champions League to keep them, they must be part of the European competition which is the target of the next champion.

If i am not completely wrong then Barcelona is now out of the Champions League for sure because even if they win both games now against Bayern and Pilzen they can only reach the same amount of points as Inter if the Italians will lose against Bayern Munich on the next matchday. Even if that would be the case then it would still be Inter that would go through because they won the direct comparison against Barca.
That being said, at the moment Bayern is already ahead with 2 goals after only 35 minutes so i doubt that Barca will win this game and like i said even if they win it does not really matter anymore. It will be interesting to hear from Xavi after the match.

What Bayern Munich did in today's match was impressive even though they have definitely progressed from the group stages. Bayern managed to make Barcelona dissolve in the rhythm of the game where in the end Barcelona were without 50:50 from their basic strategy. Barcelona also seemed to be provoked by some tough Bayern tackles and in the first half I really didn't see Barcelona having any strength in midfield.

Now I have to admit Barcelona's failure this season in the Champions League although some reasons about the heavy draw still make me feel they are unlucky. Well but maybe this is not the end, Barcelona still have to pay for all that by winning another competition.
