Chelsea will have a lot to celebrate as they grab their first win in the champions league and Graham Potter can breathe a sigh of relief as his boys were able to beat AC Milan black and blue, dominating either half.

It's quite unfortunate that Man United had to fall a goal behind, they seemed to be in complete control at the beginning, and could have easily gone a goal or 2 up before the half hour mark, I still see Man United turning the game around though.

Without a doubt, city is making alot of indoor preparations as well as psg. Nobody is willing to play and loose at the end in champions league because it is a trophy that sometimes determine the best team, best player awards etc but apart from that, a team is not complete without a trophy and yunno the implications if any of them falls below the relegation zone? So , although , we will always have a winner and psg haven't claims championship for a long time now, it might be theirs this time around?! With the rate at which Haaland is executing his goals i don't think any thing will be impossible for Manchester City to achieve. Last season Madrid deprived them of the CL title but the energy and force their forward possesses at the moment every thing is possible. If Haaland is always on fire, then Manchester City chances in the UCL are big enough to secure the trophy this season. but if he is (say an injury, maybe Manchester City will have a big gap in the front line. Benfica are far from a weak club that surprised many last season... But they will probably lose to PSG again, as they did last season... Although I think a lot of people might be overestimating PSG's capabilities... As you said the French league is not as strong as other European leagues, but in Portugal club football is not that good either... There is still a long way to go and there is always a favorite team who will be the champion but now Man City and PSG are always linked with the trophy they want for the first time but this is not an easy job of course having to go through all the many opponents that are so it's difficult, even though Mancity have Haaland who score a lot of goals and PSG have Messi who still has the same potential but remember the other teams that are not mentioned and it will backfire for them, I believe the Champions League is difficult to predict who will be the champion but Seeing from Mancity it makes many clubs that will become champions this season.

Manchester City is like the previous season, yes they are one of the favorites of the team you mentioned. you are right that the real competition when playing the knockout phase. Like last season they were amazing when they were in the knockout stages, but all that went away when they faced Real Madrid. Almost everyone favored Manchester City over Real Madrid, but it was not easy for them to beat the Spanish giants in the Champions League, in the end Real Madrid won their 14th title.

Anything can happen in Group B. There we see 3 teams with all 3 points. So Atletico still have every chance to continue. You would not expect Club Brugge to be at the top with 9 points from 3 matches. PSG were really surprising last night. They couldn't defeat Benfica despite dominating especially the second half. Benfica had better be happy still for getting a point from them. Because they weren't able to show an impressive performance in this game. PSG did their best but it wasn't enough for a win. Messi's goal was really superb by the way. He was scoring this kind of spectacular goals regularly at Barcelona. It's nice to see the same Messi here also.

I don't think that this point loss would affect PSG in the group much. I think that they will defeat Benfica next time and consolidate their lead even more. The team that might be able stop in the group seems like Juventus only. Because that game is in Turin and Juventus might continue to improve their performance until then.

It's clear that they are still having a very hard time at UCL games, it's not as easy as Ligue 1, when people say that Ligue 1 is a "farmers league" type of deal, as in players that are young there who show themselves are farm and harvested by bigger clubs in other leagues because no big name wants to play there, that means PSG is the only who can keep their good players, and all the other teams sell their players when there is a good offer, which makes PSG champions of a low level league.

After Liverpool, then Ajax. This is definitely something interesting to watch because at first seeing this group I felt it was Napoli who would find it difficult to face these two clubs but I was wrong here.

I'm pretty sure Napoli will top the table in Group A. Because this team has been able to maintain consistent good performance in both Serie A and Champions League. Liverpool have won two out of three matches, but their performance has not been stable yet. If Ajax manage to beat Liverpool in their next home match, it will be difficult for Liverpool to qualify for the next round.
