I think that might be severely underestimating what it means to be at the very top of one's career, as Ronaldo is and has been for years now. Too many people are putting age over everything else. A younger football player does not automatically make him a better football player. Throughout the years Ronaldo has been gathering experience and training that the young Ronaldo did not have. So if a young Ronaldo played against the current Ronaldo, I think the older one would win.

Why are people throwing a 37 year old down into the trash just because he is a bit older but still young? Would a few years make a huge difference here?

Memphis Depay is not a bad player, but he is not so good either, he is kind of an ordinary player. He didn't score goals in the 2022 world cup, he scored only one goal, and that was against USA in the round of 16. He is rarely in the starting line-up this season because Barcelona bought many players that are better than him last summer, and Xavi no longer needs him as an important player in the team. I feel Depay should move to another team as soon as possible, if he stays in Barcelona he will only play when there are injuries to first team players, or when the match is not so important to Barcelona.

True, Memphis Depay is actually still very good if he leaves Barcelona and joins another club in the transfer market later. Xavi is a legend just like Frank Lampard. I'm happy that Barcelona's management isn't as impatience has Chelsea's management. The transfer season has not yet opened. Lewandowski was only getting sanction for not to play on the three matches and lewandowski is still fine. It seems like that barcelona didn't have intention to sell him to the another clubtoo. Torres didn't perform so well with barcelona. I will prefer to keep depay rather than torres.
