If you're talking about the Europa League, it means you have to look at the predictions for the match in the play-off round, even though it's still a long way off, because in that round Manchester United will face Barcelona at home to Barcelona. So there's no need to look at the points or the like that Manchester United has gotten in their domestic league lately, even though it's a very good thing to use as an initial reference before the match in the play-off round begins.

From the game against Athletico Madrid, Barcelona looks unorganized that could be as a result of the absence of Lewandoski,as they weren't precise enough when it came to scoring goals. Dembele did not do badly and so did Raphina but he was played off his best position. Manchester United are far better than them but when come that day, it'll be a shock that Manchester United still can not get the win successfully. I think Man United has performed quite well in the UEFA Europa League. In Group E they only lost once against Real Sociedad, while for the other 5 matches, Man United always won. What is a little doubtful is Barcelona's appearance. Even though Barcelona is at the top of the La Liga standings but their performance on the European stage looks less promising, which they were eliminated in the Champions League. So there is a possibility they will be eliminated from the UEFA Europa League too.

Even though their condition is currently in prime condition, this is not a guarantee, I think, especially since they still have a lot of schedules to complete and of course drain their stamina and their main striker, Gabriel, who has not returned yet.
It would be great if they were able to maintain that condition but if not this is clearly not something good for Arsenal.
I think as long as the schedule is still ongoing there will still be a number of conditions that are not desirable to occur so that making one of the clubs now the favorite is still a little difficult.

I think that the performance from united shall not become anothe question. United has been doing so well in both europa league and domestic league. that proves that if united is capable enough to be considered as strong team right now.

Looking on head to head all Manchester United fans can't forget about Lionel Messi goals at Champion League final season 2008/2009 and Barcelona won 2-0 goals. @LUCKMCFLY you’re completely wrong about Ten Hag because he has brought back the disciplinary approach, and now the player’s are scared of the coach and earlier the coach at Manchester United would be scared to take bold calls. Furthermore in my personal opinion Ten Hag needs to be backed in the January transfer window, and then he can probably buy a player or two that can help him defeat Barcelona and in the end help the club win the Europa league too.

Yes they have a chance at that if they can perform like they are doing now. Mikel Arteta knows what he has to do with this team so we see Arsenal as they are today, and some of the transfers they have made have gone quite well with the players they have managed to recruit able to contribute a lot to the team.

Yup, there is still enough time to improve for MU and Barcelona. This will be the most interesting match of all the matches in this round. Other matches like Sevilla vs PSV, Juventus vs Nantes are matches that the hosts maybe get win.
