Still teams like Villarreal and Frankfurt won the title in a row in the recent two years though. This might have made people give more chance to such teams from now on. But this season looks different to me.

There are so many powerful teams that have come from the Champions League as well. It feels like this time the title winner will be one of those big teams. It is bad to see Barcelona or Manchester United saying goodbye already though but hopefully we will enjoy this matchup anyway.

Based on your opinion last two season winner in UEFA Europe League taken by small team and will happen in this season the winner chance not dominance by bigger team like Arsenal? I know fact about unpredictable UEFA Europe League winner last season when Eintracht Frankfurt success made new history become the champion.

Europe League participants in this season difference than last season, right now many bigger team are eliminated from Champion League and have to play at Europe League. Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United/Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam are bigger team will make new achievement in Europe League this season.

Sevilla have very bad season in La Liga but they are a big name in Europa League and they might prove it again in this season.
Roma are not too strong but they are improving and with Mourinho, they can play with relevant formations to challenge other clubs.
Bayer are big name in Germany but I don't think they have good ability to win in Europa League format.

So will we see a final match between Roma and Sevilla? I don't check they belong to different branch or a same branch so that they can meet earlier than the final match.
Seasons ago Roma tried to hire Monchi to build up long term plan for them but after two seasons, they were separated and Monchi returned to Sevilla. If two clubs meet in Europa League, it will be a return of Monchi to Roma after a few years.

Frankfurt was not playing in europa league again. This time there are so many big clubs that were playing in the play off. Some clubs were also at the top of their domestic league which gives different view to the current europa league.
This time europea league looks more interesting compared with last year. there are so many changes happened with the current competition. im so glad that to see so many big clubs were clashing between one to the each other.

Manchester United form in the Europa league  have been at top level,  they have only lost one and won 5 games. The playoff fixture against Barcelona will be test of their consistency level because it looks like they are finally finding the balance under Ten Hag's management. Manchester United perform better against top teams and Barcelona will be no different from others but it is a 50/50 game and anyone could win.

United has been starting to be even more mature. The new united under ten hag has become a new form of united which has been fulfilled by so many young talented players. it can be considered as the most difficult match for MU. Barcelona has a very good result in h2h against MU. this is the time for MU to break such rumour if MU was an easy opponent for barcelona. this gonna be death battle for both. I think that i will pick MU in this case seeing from the impressive performance in EPL.

I've said it in many posts. if at Bayern there is Nagelsmann, at Man United there is Erik Ten Hag.

He was able to bring United in a relatively short time to compete at the top four Premier League level. although at the start of the season United did experience some problems, the fact is that Ten Hag was able to bring The Red Devils to 4th place in the Premier League. in fact, if United are able to overthrow Manchester City in this ongoing match. that way, Newcastle's ranking will be shifted by The Red Devils.

especially if this January, Ten Hag actually brought in one of the attacking midfielders. I think United will again be one of the strongest challengers in the Premier League. so, it's not an easy matter for Barcelona to overthrow United in the playoffs later. except, if Erik Ten Hag is not so ambitious to win a trophy in this competition.

Xavi has had an equally positive impact on Barcelona, so it is very difficult for me to understand which team has benefited more from the change of coach. Rashford had already been showing great performance before ten Hag but now he got more playing time and more space due to the absence of Ronaldo and this was his chance and he took it.

I really acknowledge man united board and I'll attribute Manchester united'a results and performance to them. It wasn't easy for Eric Ten Hag in his initial arrival. He's done a wonderful job internally during the FIFA world cup break. Ten hag and Arteta's success story this season is enough for other management to learn that it takes time to build a formidable team. If Ten hag wasn't given enough time, before now, the team will be facing the same problem as Chelsea.

I agree that the teams that are at the top of their leagues do have a bigger chance. Just to name the big names Arsenal and Barcelona will be the big names. I think europa will be different this year a lot more because there is more prestige to it, like conference league is the lower end now, which means that europa is not the bottom one anymore and winning that should give some returns.

I understand it's not a lot of money and not a lot of reputation neither since the biggest clubs of Europe do not really win it, but this year is a bit different and it could happen. We have to just wait and see, we still have time for a smaller club to win.

Yeah just see that MU was able beating manchester city which one of candidate in UCL. That proves that MU has capability to send back barcelona to the camp nou. People were under rating MU at this moment while MU's performance is starting to go up gradually. I think that MU gonna be so crazy to beat barcelona. Even though they were behind by 1 goal in the 60th minute, Manchester United were able to reverse the position through their 2 goals. It was a very extraordinary match for them and it was a red flag for Barcelona who will face Manchester United in the play off round. They won victory after victory and with a good game too, this is their 5th win in a row. Barcelona must be really aware of the strategy that will be used by Erik Ten Hag.

Sevilla in the Europa League is like Real Madrid in the Champions Line. If I'm not mistaken, the only club to win the Europa League three times in a row is Sevilla, an impressive achievement (and quite ironic since starting the season in the Champions League, Sevilla got into the Europa League from third place and won it again) but this season they have no chance . The team is too weak, today they lost to Girona and finally bogged down in the relegation zone.

But those statistics can still be considered that Man United is currently having a better trend than Barcelona, and of course, they have a chance to beat Barcelona.

And I also have come to full agreement with you that Manchester United are not slightly but currently better than Barcelona in terms of the current form of the both sides. We haven't really scored a lot of goals but the defense has improved with Harry Maguire also been dropped on the bench.

If same tactical intelligence from Erik Ten Hag would be used same way against Barcelona, they're of no match to us ( Manchester United ) completely. My scare has to be Pedri, Gavi, Dembele and Robert Lewandoski the rest can be well handled, but if according to Ten Hag the team are together, they have a chance to win Barcelona during the play off next month.
