OrangeFren.com/Guarantee

If you want to quickly check info about the OrangeFren Guarantee you can now do so on: OrangeFren.com/Guarantee
Hello. This link does not work for me.

I get the error 404 not found

But if I access with the G in lowercase it works: https://orangefren.com/guarantee

 Grin Grin
Apologies! Fixed!  Tongue

Price alerts in the Intercambio SimpleX bot

You can now set price alerts in the Intercambio SimpleX bot!

Add the bot here: link

I want to ask you guys, what do you think about us adding an additional requirement that all new services must have their own liquidity?
We are having so many resellers lately that end up getting rogue
Well there's temptations to be stupid as a reseller.

You can't beat anyone on price, but you can lie about your rates and blame it on the LPs.
You can't promise never-KYC, but you can blame the LPs when coins end up frozen.

If you want to quickly check info about the OrangeFren Guarantee you can now do so on: OrangeFren.com/Guarantee
Is there any way to relate this to the exchange volume that might qualify for the Guarantee at a given moment? I'm thinking of the scenario in which an exchange exit scams and multiple deposits disappear simultaneously. It matters if a user can get, say, 90% back, or only 5%.

Work is underway on a system to immediately broadcast information about ongoing cases. So for instance "We currently investigating SwapperXYZ for a case of ______" or "There's currently a swap stuck with SwapperXYZ". This way you'd know that a specific exchange currently has an (alleged) issue.

We have added BitBlik and its offshoots (Bittwint, veks, BitWay) to the P2P marketplaces table

Beware that banking apps may refuse to work on devices with these installed. It is thus recommended to keep the banking apps in a container or work profile Smiley

⚠️ How to stay safe against an exchange changing their deposit address:

Only use services with a Letter of Guarantee — and download it BEFORE your deposit

You can verify them here: https://OrangeFren.com/verify

Who in their right mind sends $913k in an anonymous privacy coin to an anonymous service? Even if they would have downloaded the Letter of Guarantee, that would be a ridiculous risk.

They should show the letter, because otherwise I'm calling bullshit.

There's way too many people claiming to have "lost funds" sending money to these platforms, without providing the letter of guarantee (sometimes, they don't even download it). It's on them to provide the evidence of that! DMing big accounts on Twitter to post about it does not count.

Exactly. They're either stupid (but I don't believe many stupid people have $913k to spend), or trying to damage the service's reputation. It could even be competitors doing this, or random people hoping to get paid.

We see some of our users do big swaps quite often, but never does someone send $400k, not wait for it to clear and then send another $400k.

Considering this oddity, and the lack of a Letter of Guarantee, my belief is it's just a smear campaign by a competitor.

👀 Every swapper with fees <1% is covered by the OrangeFren Guarantee right now!

Get promo codes for a specific service

On the results page of OrangeFren.com you can now get a promo code for a specific service. Currently supported are: Exolix and Trevoid Smiley

Enjoy up to 20% off the trading fee!

The codes are only valid with our links.

Following the Wagyu hack three things are now coming to light:
  • Wagyu lied about deleting logs
  • Wagyu lied about their fees and actually collected way more in hidden fees
  • Wagyu lied about the odds on their coin flip game

None of our sites ever had Wagyu listed. They immediately seemed very suspicious to us when we saw them lying about being decentralised. However, it seems that vibe coded directories and aggregators were more than happy to look the other way to make a quick buck.

One such example:

To the best of our knowledge: never have the swappers we list on OrangeFren.com, on Intercambio.app or in the Intercambio.app SimpleX bot leak our users' data.

I know, it's a rhetorical question, but I want to point it out anyway. If you go through the hassle of getting a privacy coin, at least make sure you use it properly. Tor Browser is very easy to use.

Beginner's question, but is XMR only used for privacy concerns?
Is it possible for someone to buy/sell XMR because of the trading potential? I believe that in that case, for most transactions, revealing the IP address is not too much of a concern for such people.

I believe most people don't care much about privacy in general. That doesn't mean it's a good idea to reveal personal details to anonymous exchangers.

On centralized exchanges like Kraken you need to use your real IP address when buying monero, btc, etc, or you will get in trouble.
And I think it's the similar case if you buy coins with payment cards.

🔒 Search fixed - want exactly 0.1 BTC? Exchanges lock the rate, you see the exact cost
Finally!
I was always complaining internally that I never get exact rates that was shown previously.
Now it's time to test it and see if this is actually working in real life cases.

OrangeFren.com receives the God-like power of Midas's touch

After years of working together OrangeFren.com was invited by one of the exchanges we work with that do shotgun-KYC to handle all compliance verification for them when it affects our users.

This exchange resellers as major CEX who themselves outsource their swapper client's verification to the swapper.

This would mean that if our user uses this swapper and gets shotgun KYC they would need to send their documents and prove their identity and the funds history TO US. We would only pass on a green or red light to the swapper who in turn only passes a green or red light to the CEX.

Me and my team would obtain the power to, WITH AN EMAIL, declare tainted BTC as clean!

I naively believed such power was only handed to people with, I dunno, some compliance training?
