Well.. we both have different way of interpreting stuff. France doesn't represent entire Europe. Within UEFA, there are teams like France and Spain which are booming with talent, and at the same time there are teams (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium.etc) which are getting stagnated. A total of 24 teams will be taking part in Euro 2024 (same as last year). And not all of these teams would be competitive against stronger teams like France. Look at what happened during Euro 2020. Teams like Turkey, Slovakia and Russia were involved in some one-sided matches where they lost by large margins.

It's clear that Euro is fun, not as fun as world cup to be fair, Argentina definitely proved that by winning the world cup and showing Europe does not have the best teams, but that doesn't change the fact that we are still going to see the soccer center of the world to have a play against each other and that should be fun to watch.

Italy may be a strong team but I don't consider them a favorite to win the UEFA Euro 2024. After all, they didn't even qualify for the last World Cup. It's true that the Nations league is a less important competition compared to the World Cup and the EURO, but this is still the final tournament and everyone wants to win the trophy.

The 2022 world cup is the most tragic world cup for Germany, as a team of potential champions, but Germany was unable to get out of the group phase and ended up having to go home quickly at that time, I think the current German squad is not qualified and it might be very difficult for them to  compete for the championship, even though they don't have to go through the group phase, the current German squad is no longer as strong as it used to be and I think, the many old players in Germany are the reason for their decreased performance like in the last world cup, if Germany really wants to win it should be Hansi Flick made many improvements to their squad including regenerating players and entrusting more young players to fill the line up later.

Well, just go back a little further, when Italy won the Euro they didn't go to the World Cup, Portugal when they won the Euro went to the World Cup but they didn't reach the final when everyone expected to see Portugal as a finalist, that's something that didn't happen, what of the Euro is important, but when the World Cup is held things change a lot, there are some players who could have played in the Euro but were not called up for the national team to play in the World Cup, so many things can happen, for me a team Since the French have a lot of history and have very high-level players, that's enough to win any competition.

And then chances of any upsets are low, because each team will face others two times in the group phase. Even if one of the underdogs win one match by luck, the higher ranked team has another chance to get back at them. In two weeks, Croatia will be playing their first match, against Wales (they will be having the home advantage, since the match is scheduled to be held at the Stadion Poljud in Split). And on 28th they have a tough match, against Turkey.
