Just when I thought that finally a night without surprises as I was watching Norway leading up to the 85th minute and I thought that it was going to be a sure win but Scotland turned immediately things around in just two minutes with two goals in 87th and 89th minute which was the first surprise of the night.

The second one was Belgium not being able to win at home against Austria,I think Belgium was also the biggest surprise of tonight games from the Euro qualifiers as honestly for me Belgium is in a much better shape than Austria and even Austria goal was a Belgium own goal unfortunately which cost them the three points tonight.All other games come as predicted.

Scotland winning their game away to Norway in the last minutes of the match was very surprising indeed because of how the host dominated most of the game but little did they know that Scotland still had the belief and desire to win that game.
Belgium at home against Austria was a game many had predicted that the host would win with ease but surprisingly they drew the match. I really do not know what is wrong with Belgium players when it comes to delivering top performances for their country like they do when they're playing for their respective clubs. The coach of the side really needs to make them play more like a team than individual stars

Norway only have Haaland and Odegaard, the rest are just weak players where their market value didn't even reach at least 5 Million Euros. If there's no player can give a good pass or assist for Haaland, Haaland performance will looks bad too. Opponent club just need to keep an eye to Haaland because there's no Norway player have better execution than Haaland.

Belgium failed to win yesterday, but Portugal claimed easy win and scored those goal late in the match to pass with over goals (o2.5 to be precise)
Iceland losing at home to Slovakia is a bit of surprise for me, will be interesting in that group as well

Yes. that’s all he can do. He can't do it everything alone, but he needs his teammates to set him up with good passes and opportunities in order to shine. Norway player aren't able to do that for him. So when he's playing for Norway, he has to work harder to create those opportunities for himself. You can see this in the scoreline of some of their matches. But, when he plays for Manchester City, there's a different story. He's surrounded by talented players who create plenty of chances for him to score.

Portugal took 3 points against Bosnia and Herzegovina with 3 goals and maintained their lead in the group.Portugal, who played a dominant football from the beginning to the end of the match, definitely deserved the match.Portugal was the more comfortable side as they closed the first half ahead with Bernardo Silva's goal towards the end of the first half.The other 2 goals came from Bruno Fernandes.
Iceland lost to Slovakia at home in the other important match in the group.I am glad that Slovakia won the match in which Slovakia dominated.Although the first half ended in a 1-1 draw with mutual goals, Slovakia maintained its superiority in the second half and scored the winning goal in the 69th minute with suslov.

I think that it is something that Norway has to fix,they have good attackers and the fact that they were only able to score from the penalty spot yesterday night means that they have not found yet the perfect formula to start scoring goals and to harmonize the team forwarders together.I agree,Haaland is still young at just 23 years old but he has a lot of experience in his shoulders already so age should not be a limiting factor in this team,I think that Norway coach needs to be replaced and to get someone who can harmonize the team players better as you cannot just lose your game in just 2 minutes when you are winning,even weaker teams do not permit that,so they have to change something.

Haaland is like a goal machine everywhere. Since he was promoted to the main squad of Norway his statistics have been very impressive - 22 goals in 24 official matches. Odegaard hasn't scored so many goals with Norway shirt maybe but we all know how much he has improved his game recently. I can see midfielder and forward quality is decent and that's all.

Maybe one can expect or hope Haaland to carry this team with his goals but it is still not enough while the general quality isn't very impressive. The team play isn't adequate enough and we have seen its examples since the beginning of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. They couldn't do anything against Spain. They struggled too much against Scotland and Georgia as well.

I'm not sure if Norway can do much better but it depends on if there is a coach out there who can manage this team better than this.

Yes Scotland keeps their good pace, but im really afraid of his chances to keep this pace, 10 rounds and with big windows between them can be difficult, the good part its, Norway its lacking really bad.

Agree on Belgium -- I know Austria's not a terrible team but this should have been a straightforward win for a team high up the FIFA rankings. Have to say Scotland wasn't that much of a surprise for me, even Haaland getting his penalty was a bit of a fortunate thing (in my view). I see these two teams as evenly matched, my money would have gone on Scots any day with the value odds (though in the end the win was also lucky).

Scotland still my hopeful team to qualify from this group -- but Georgia might fancy themselves as a huge outsider (they probably need to nick points off Scotland the way they did Norway first though).

Like in previous round, I mostly will go with goals over market. Over 3.5 in Ukraine - Malta @1.99, over 3 in England - North Macedonia @1.64 and over 3 in Israel - San Marino @1.69.
Also, parlay of Switzerland and France ML @1.74. And single ML on Turkey against Wales.

That's really strange. Kazakhstan recently is looking solid, have 6 points after 3 games and amazing win against Denmark. While Northern Ireland doesn't shows nothing special.

Belgium are just an unbalanced team these days. They were just like that in the previous World Cup as well. Here in the qualifiers they first seemed to have made a good development against Sweden. But it didn't take a long time to realize that they haven't changed too much. Their effort against Austria wasn't good enough. It was a match they could have won if they played as in the Sweden match. I don't want to blame Lukaku of course as he scored a goal again. But it would have been lovely if we saw a similar cooperation between him and Lukebakio again.

Anyway today they are playing away against Estonia. This is like one of the most comfortable matches of the group on paper. But they should still be careful because Austria defeated Estonia by only 2-1.

It's true the Scottich team has non top players, but the interesting thing is Scotland mostly play good against other national teams since the last two years.

Solbakken isn't a starting line up in Roma, Sorloth is playing in the same position like Haaland, Aursnes not give many contribution in Benfica.

Not really sure what's the real problem, but Haaland can't become a solo hard carry like Mbappe.

I am not surprised at all by Norway's loss. Since Odegaard and Haaland weren't yet team leaders during that match, they were just boys who couldn't handle the pressure. This is why they can't give up. When they've only scored one goal and the game isn't over then the game is far from over. Norway thought they'd made it safe they weren't with five minutes remaining but Scotland continued to press and managed a fantastic comeback and most deserved win.

On the other hand the Norwegian Defense is probably the worst I've ever seen. It's not about two players and the other one is weak, but because they don't have chemistry and there isn't team cohesiveness. Congratulations to Scotland

I just looked at today's games and I see only France vs. Greece as an interesting one. It should be a game for the first place and the winner will get himself a good advantage for the future. The two nations are separated by three points, but that is because Greece has one game less than France. But I think that France should have no problem winning against Greece.

It is at least one that seems to be more interesting than the other games, but it would still be a weird result if France loses the game or even gives away two points. It is also a home game for France and as far as I can tell most of the players are available. It would be nothing but a disappointment for France if they don't win it.

Today there is also Switzerland vs Romania, which I think could be a close game and tomorrow there is Austria vs. Sweden, which is also interesting. I don't think that Romania can win this one, but I think it is more likely for Romania to win a point than it is for Greece vs. France.
