This was actually a warm-up match for Portugal. They understood what level they were at as a team, even if they didn't see it fully. Portugal's opponent was a very weak opponent and everyone expected such a result. There could have been even more goals but they failed to capitalize.
The most interesting match of the day will of course be France vs Netherlands. It is an important match for both teams. France is shown as the heavy favorite but I think the Netherlands can score goals.

Italy against England was as expected in my opinion. England played a very solid World Cup whereas Italy couldn't even qualify. England's team is strong and no players were missing as far as I know or at least not many. For me England is one of the favorite teams for the upcoming Euro. I don't really see any reason why they shouldn't be considered a favorite.

It was an easy win for Portugal because Liechtenstein showed no sign of wining the game. For a team that made it to the world cup in 1998, it was a very poor performance. It is clear that the national team have not improved. The sixth smallest nation in the world with a population of about 39,039 can attract players from other countries that could join their national team because it is clear that they lack talented players. It's great to see the mighty Ronaldo scoring two goals including a classic free kick.

The Italian team's attack was a total mess they only managed to get one shot on target. Even after Shaw got a red card in the 80th minutes they failed to maximize this deficit in the English team. Roberto Mancini needs to do a lot of work on the Italians because they need to put up good performances when they meet big teams. It was a big win for Gareth Southgate after a commendable performance in the world cup.

Liechtenstein showed no sign of winning? Of course they did not. If you are interested you can check their overall statistics, but they won their last game like 25 games ago or so. They just don't have the player material to compete with any of the bigger nations, not even with the small ones. They can compete with the smallest of the smallest like Luxembourg or San Marino, but that's it. To expect that they can win against Portugal or even tie a game against them doesn't make sense at all. It is rather the question whether Portugal can be proud of their win and celebrate it like Ronaldo did. At some points in the game I thought they are playing against Argentina...

I don't like France team because they always beat my country (Croatia) but I agree that they are favorites in this game. As a runner up in the World Cup I would say that they are pretty big favorite and the bookies think that also. Odds are 1.7 on France winning and 4.5 on Netherlands. Seeing Portugal's game is convincing enough to continue doing it in the next round. Ronaldo's return to the team adds to the team's confidence what else can score 2 goals. I feel proud that Ronaldo can give back his magic touch.

Very happy to see Ronaldo in that match, but once he was taken off I was sure that without Ronaldo there would be no more additional goals and it turned out that there were no additional goals for Portugal until the end of the match. As a host France could be the favourite and indeed this is first match France under new captain Mbappe that after Hugo Lloris retired Didier Deschamps has decide to makes Mbappe as the captain so lets see this change will bringing positive impact for France or not but there was a bit conflict that the rumours is Antoine Griezmann doesn't fully agreed with Deschamps decision and probably he will thinking to retired early because Griezmann doesn't too satisfied for this conditions and i hope this won't affect to France performance later

There are still many opportunities in the next matches and this defeat, I'm sure Italy still has a big chance to qualify.
