It seems that Southgate decided to stick to his plan to score first and then play cautiously, defensively, but now I think his plan started to fail, because for the first time Serbia started to have some moments that can be called at least a little dangerous. let's be sincere with ourselves and know that this England team is not organized at all. Don't know whhy the coach didn't bring in Cole Palmer for this match when it appears as though Harry Kane wasn't receiving the balls the way that would have helped him score goals. We all know that Kane is a magical goal scored and that the technicality of Cole Palmer would make things easier for Kane at the attack but I guess the coach had his reson why he didn't play palmer. i love the fact that Jude Bellingham was able to score, at least this will serve to baist his moral going forward into this tournament and I just hope that they give him and Cole Palmer more player time cause depending on harry Kane alone for goals would be a serious problem for the England team. Regardless of the disappointing score line, they needed 3 points and they've been able to secure it all to themselves, that's all that matters.

There will be a lot of dissatisfaction with England's performance in today's match. They have a lot of talented players in the squad but Southgate's scheme is really boring in my opinion. Only 1 goal scored is obviously not very good and it seems that what can thwart the English squad now happens because of poor attacking schemes and patterns.

Honestly I don't really like Trent being played as a defensive midfielder in this match because I think instead of doing a 4-2-3-1 formation for England they would be much more worth it with a 4-3-3 where TAA is placed in a position like he was at Liverpool and Kyle is used as a center back with Stone. It will be much more worth it for TAA who can move freely to overlap and his place can still be filled temporarily for Kyle in anticipation of counter attacks. As for the 3 midfielders they have Foden, Rice and Jude who can be used as a trio which I think is quite worth it. But Southgate doesn't seem to see this situation too much by making some formations that are a little confusing for the players.

Maybe it's true, but we also know the fact that Spain has a better squad than Croatia. Based on my analysis, Croatia also has several advantages in building attacks, but it is a shame that they failed to use every opportunity to score a goal. What I feel is actually not in the condition of the players but honestly I see a different situation from Spain's game in the first match yesterday.
We've always seen Spain with their Barcelona style tiki taka in recent seasons but now it seems like Spain are adopting more of a Madrid style of play and in yesterday's game against Croatia it was the quick counter-attacks that always resulted in goals that I think made the difference in the Spanish scheme of things and I like that.

In terms of play I think Croatia are better at building attacks and how they control the midfield, but the quick counter-attacks relying on the speed of the young Spanish players are hard to stop and the scoreline is one that I didn't really expect to see in this match.

The England game wasn't an easy one, Serbia was unlucky to find the ball in the back of the net. They gave England a tough time to maintain possession of the ball, with all the big names England have I was expecting Serbia to be defending and not giving their opponent much worries, more than one goal is suppose to be in this game but I never saw the 3 Lions creating much chances.

Well you have actually spoke my mind on this because even when I was making selection of games I was very skeptical about the games in this first round because almost all the big nations were paired with little nations and from my expectations I still haven't seen the team that would brink that suprised and l feel Belgium and France would also win their game like you speculate but one can never be too certain as the surprise might come in these remaining games.

Definitely this is just a start of the tournament and all the teams have prepared themselves heavily to win. If we look at the fixtures it mostly a pair of favourites and underdogs been paired together and with this been the favourites first game they will like to have a good start. The second match will definitely be a bit challenging and we could see mixed predictions and results, as some nations maybe fighting for their continue participation in the tournament or two of the top nations will be playing against each other.

I honestly do agree with your that playing Trent Alexander-Arnold in the midfield doesn’t seems fit. The formation had Jude Bellingham on a 10 role and which means all creativity has to come from him, but let’s be honest Jude Bellingham isn’t that creative enough as an attacking midfielder. You can as well suggest the likes of Foden but I still don’t fancy him at all at that position. I will rather have Cole Palmer who holds on to the ball than a player like foden than loves to run towards defenders as a typical winger. Other alternatives could be having Kobbie Mainoo in that midfield, he is by far more composed in the midfield than TAA.

Regarding Walker moving into the central defense I will say it’s a bad idea except you are playing a back 3. Stones doesn’t heads the ball a lot or isn’t that great in aerial battles, having a similar style of player like walker will be setting the team up for potential aerial balls, it’s today that I realized the importance of having Maguire in the team. But for now a regular center back will do.

As for the attack I don’t see the reason to play both saka and foden at the same time, both players prefer to play from the right. Why not use the left wingers with the likes of Eze and Gordon available. This will add more perfection to the team

Since the start of this summer's UEFA Euros Championship, I think we've recorded more winnings across  different gambling sites than we've seen in recent times and that's because the results of the games are more of what was predicted by many before kick off of the games. There's never been a result that's too surprising to all of us and I don't know how long things will continue to flow that way.
Tonight, England defeated Serbia with just a lone goal but if you ask me, I think the result didn't reflect much with the performance of the Three Lions of England because they were simply the best team and should've created more chances that'll provide them with more goals than what we saw. What difference are you talking about? Serbia completed dominated the second half and choked England to the core. I'm even surprised they didn't get a point from today's game despite being a better side for most parts of the second half and extremely competitive in the first half too. They were only unfortunate to have conceded that goal early in the first half.

If England continues performing like this, I won't be surprised if they end up getting kicked off right off the group stage. After watching Italy, Germany and Spain play, then England today, it's safe to England are not the favoritesin my books.

It was predicted that England would win this match, but it felt like something was missing from this victory because they were only able to score one goal even though they had Hary Kane, whose ferocity in front of the opponent's goal was beyond doubt. However, in this match Kane did not manage to score a goal, the goal actually came from the midfielder, namely Jude. Indeed, this victory was considered good because it managed to get three points, but if you look at England's squad, it seems very unfortunate that they were only able to score one goal.

Of course, the performance from the England team was very poor. Even if they had won the game my bet on the match was lost. I had predicted the total goals to be from 3 and above. It is quite annoying that with the number of qualities squad in the team the game did not end like a big team was playing a smaller team. Many people were expecting so much from the England team and the goal they scored was out of luck of which they struggled to score the goal in the game.

Well I agree with this, all our predictions went well except for Denmark match a few hours ago but overall it's good, I also have a parlay bet in progress and am waiting for 3 more games I mean in this first week. If you ask about the second week I think it is not much different from this week the favorite teams will probably win the match, and if we bet on single bets 1x2 I'm sure more bets will win but it is not recommended for parlay bet.

Tomorrow the match is between Romania vs Ukraine, we know Ukraine is a bit  favorite here but Romania also played well in qualifying so there is a possibility that both teams will score each other and it is interesting to place parlay bet. Artem Dovbyk as Laliga top scorer will probably be in the line up so maybe we can hope for something there I mean on the Ukrainian team.

This strategy will not be effective and could even result in England being knocked out of this tournament early, Southgate should still order his players to appear aggressive in the second half. Bellingham is England new hope, and he is the hero of today's victory. Statistically, England does not look too dominant, both in terms of possession of the ball and also in terms of the number of shots on target.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure England can qualify as group winners easily, but their next journey will not be easy.
