We were shaken by the bad news of Enes Ünal's injury.    He has been removed from Turkey national squad in Euro 2024. We were already having forward problems as I said before and now our options are narrower. Portugal has also announced their official squad for Euro 2024. Ronaldo is going to be playing as most people expected. This is bad news for us when we think we are in the same group and Ronaldo's qualifiers effort was great.

Good teams shouldn't count on one player to reach the finals, instead they should make many strategies to overcome his absences. This is kind of general information but when we talk about Cristiano Ronaldo presence then definitely he has a good effect on the team, physically and psychologically, but even without him, Portugal remains a hard opponent.
The group F isn't that hard for Turkiye. Apart from Portugal, Czechia and Georgia are weaker and Turkiye could end second or third in the worst scenario with a lot of goals to get a chance to pass to the next round.

I would expect France to be favoured the most normally so I'm surprised. Maybe reaching Euro 2020 final also has some effect on those odds for England.    But France are a much more disciplined team you know. Player quality is also amazing, starting with Mbappe. But France haven't been able to win a trophy here since Euro 2000. Maybe this is a chance to end this.

It looks like Germany are benefiting from being the hosts.    They have skilled players but for the trophy? I'm not trusting them as much as England - France duo.

Among all this three countries here I don’t think why you actually rate Germany lower, but I get it’s a thing of predictions and everyone has its choices. England is always a favourite to any tournament every time they participate in, but they always ends up disappointing. The France squad yeah has the quality and the experience too to take it home. The introduction of Kante back into the team is actually a very good move by Deschamp, he is one of the reasons why I think France will go far, the experience of the coach is vital to the tournament and Deschamp has it. As for Germany, I think they are better in my opinion than even England because of their quality.

The teams to look out for are England, France, Germany, and Spain.
It's these 4 teams that are the favourites for me before you talk about teams like the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia,  Belgium, and Portugal. Portugal should be rated higher but their performances against tough opponents are not encouraging. They have the squad, but I just don't see them as a winning team, they have a higher chance of winner than the Netherlands, Croatia and Belgium.

Spain is the least among the top 4 I mentioned. They have an inexperienced squad even tho they're good and they lack killer instinct. They also lack a world-class scorer up front.
France and Germany are the top two among them. These are balanced teams that have so much experience and are very technical with so many qualities. England should be on their level but I don't know if I'll call it inconsistency, they just seem to fumble when it matters the most.

These odds show that England is over estimated again before Euro 2024 as same as many previous big tournaments from World Cup to Euro. They are a strong team and are a runner up in last Euro in 2021 but they are not stronger than France and I consider England are nearly similar in quality as Germany.

England have a strong squad but so do others. The team that stands out for me is France, they are my favourites to win the tournament. They have world class players all over the pitch.

Basically, they don't really believe they will win anything, but they like to mock themselves for that. The media don't help with their misleading title either. Yeah, I agree that we underestimate Italy a little bit, but I don't agree with Portugal. Italy play with more experience but I don't just see them winning the competition this time around. They do well against relatively weaker teams, but when they play a decent team, they struggle. We saw how they played against Spain and England most recently. They are a good team but not as good as the top 4 I mentioned.

As for Portugal, they're a team that's performing way below the level they should be performing. They have a very talented and experienced team but somehow they still don't work. I don't know if it's individualism or something else.
The time when Ronaldo could lead a team is past. He was great, but not that great right now. Don't get me wrong, he's still good and can motivate a team, but his main strength now is scoring goals (which is great), but what if the team faces an opposition that doesn't allow his teammates to give the ball to him, what happens then? Unfortunately, I have more bad news about the Turkish National Team. After Enes Ünal, central defender Çağlar Söyüncü was also injured. Central defender Ozan Kabak sustained an injury during the friendly match against Italy yesterday. As a result, both Çağlar Söyüncü and Ozan Kabak have been removed from the Turkish National squad for EURO 2024. It seems possible that the Turkish National Team will have a defender problem in the tournament.

I don't even think England will be more aggressive than they have been for the past competitions they have played since the reign of Southgate. That man just fade when it comes to the bigger stage. It's simple, Southgate lacks the tactics and how to potentially use his squad to his advantage. England are not lacking players in all departments yet they can't boast of any trophy in modern time. If a team is not playing well the coach is to be blamed and since England has decided to remain with Southgate who has nothing when it comes to tactics, they will continue to wait for their first trophy after how many years of waiting. If England fail to win a trophy with this generation of their squad then it will be very hard for them to win trophy again. For me France, Germany, Spain and Portugal are teams that appears more ready for the tournament and are going to challenge for the title. Yes England will try but the moment they meet France or any of the teams mentioned above they will crash out of the competition. I don't have hope in England squad and that's just it. The highest England will get to is the semi finals and nothing more than that.
