This particular set of England players are nothing to write about. Their skills, techniques is so porous and lacking. I watched the game yesterday and was angry with myself because I thought they will improve after playing a boring football in their last two games but how was I disappointed! England team are usually like this in big tournaments and they shown some improvements in latest World Cup and Euro but they tend to repeat their poor performances in the past. Southgate did 'good' jobs with England recent years, helped the national team went far in World Cup and Euro but this Euro can be a last chance for him to stay with England team.

I guess his task is to win Euro title with England team so whatever happens, no title means he will see the exit gate. With poor performances of England so far and the negative sentiment, the exit gate becomes bigger for Southgate. There is less reason for FA to keep Southgate if there is no Euro final match, no Euro title this summer.
