But with the way the match is going, I think this game is likely to end Draw if Belgium makes any slightest mistake, due to the fact that both countries need this 3 points to move top at the group stage. A few mistakes and poor teamwork from Turkey cost them the momentum to get points in today's game and I agree that from the start Turkey's confidence was lost against Portugal in this second game.
Their counter-attacks were good but Portugal had the experience and the talent for the Euros to stop them in their tracks and a couple of times Turkey tried on both sides (albeit the left) but there was Pepe and Nuno Mendes to keep them at bay.

Their spirit began to fade when Portugal played more relaxed and did not rush to attack in the second half which made several Turkish schemes to be lost including a failed offside trap scheme that could be maximized into a third goal from Portugal.

To qualify now Turkey still has a great opportunity especially the last match they will face the Czech Republic which only has to play a draw to qualify to accompany Portugal in the runner-up position.

I think they won't have any problems with Czech Republic, at least they won't lose to them, and a draw will be enough to go further, they are now one point ahead. Despite the fact that Turkey lost today with a crushing score, they played more than decent, I don't know what exactly they lacked, but they looked okay, if you look at the statistics, you can say that they are not far behind Portugal.

Turkey always have a potential to upset big teams. But the problem is, their defending isn't in good condition at the moment. We saw this clearly in the Georgia game. If there was a more capable team as an opponent, probably Turkey would lose points. Roberto Martinez also made a statement pointing this weakness. I totally agree to most of the point you pointed out because it's very visible for all to see , that in as much as this Turkish team can be very talented, their major problem they are actually going to face is their weakness in their defensive set up, because if their defensive performance today is as the game against Georgia, they will be brutally punished at the back, because the firepower of Georgia is nothing compared to the firepower of Portugal.

Lastly, if their is any truth in this story that Arda guler isn't going to feature in this match, it's definitely going to be a sad one too me, because this is the type of games that keeps you at the edge of your seat especially when all the top quality players are all available, but it's definitely going to be a fascinating encounter between them no doubt.

If they doesn't make a ridiculous mistake, I think Turkey will advance to the next round. The victory they got in the first match is very valuable, it is not a dream for them to advance to the next round thanks to that victory. I don't think Belgium deserved to win. Romania played very well, they deserved at least a draw. I expected a lot more from Belgium and especially from Bruyne, even though he scored a goal I didn't think his performance was that good in general compared to what he normally showes for City.

As it is Belgium will be topping the group with the 2nil and I believe they would've score another to make it 3 but they seem to be missing chances upon chances, I hope they won't continue with this when they get to the round of 16. Nobody would even imagine the Romania side making it hard for both Ukraine and Belgium, they played well but the Belgium players are too fast coupled with the fact that they (Belgium) have the play maker KDB. The Belgium team don't have players who play in bigger clubs neither do they have over hyped players but they still deliver on like the 3 Lions, it would be interesting to see both countries come against each other maybe in the round of 16 or the quarter finals.

It was really funny when the defender passed the ball with full confidence that the goalkeeper will get it but things went the other way but my problem is why is it that Ronaldo is always complaining when the ball is not given to him the way he wanted? Bruno Fernandez, Bernando Silva and Joao Cancelo were taught how to play unselfishly by Ronaldo. In this match, even though Portugal wins, to be honest, there are too many selfish people in this team, which will be the biggest obstacle to really being able to continue to progress further. Relying on individual ability even though many of his teammates were free to receive passes but forced him to dribble. In this match, Portugal showed the experience is more important than the confident. Although Turkish players feel confident to fight with Portugal players, Portugal players show them how to play effectively. Turkish players only could make shot attempts, but they failed to score a single goal. Portugal defense also looked easier to handle Turkish attackers. Sure, Ronaldo isn't too obsessed to score many goals. You're right, he prefers to play wisely, he opens the chance of other players.

I choose Belgium among my favorite teams to win this tournament because of the players they have that have vast experience in several leagues across Europe, but their performances is not convincing to keep supporting them especially their goal scoring ability and chances creation. They have Doku, Trossard, and Lukaku in the front and they have good creative midfielders like De Bruyne and Tielemans; yet their goal scoring ability is not too good.

They win their first match of the tournament today against Romana, it was a tough encounter but experienced players in the Belgium team helped the team to get victory today, they have now leveled up with the other teams.

Group E is now one of the most dangerous group, all the teams have equal points which gives all of them equal chance to qualify to the next round of the competition.

Turkey vs Portugal was like a training match for Portugal. They had a very comfortable victory. Turkey's players had a hard time to stand throughout the match. They made a lot of erroneous passes and had a hard time to attack. Turkey does not give importance to defense, but they had important players on the offensive line today. Coach Montella made some controversial decisions in this match. Portugal completely controlled the game after scoring the 2nd goal.
