Our expectations are naturally high from teams like England, France and Italy. Because they have a strong squad. The squad has a lot of talented and star players. But even then we are not seeing the expected good performance from these teams. It's sad.

A team as strong as England has won only one match out of 3 matches. However, England has occupied the top spot in the table. Still we expected to see a better performance from England. On the other hand, big teams like Netherlands, France and Italy are not playing well. This year's Euro matches are not very crowded.

You see I'm not totally surprised that most of the big teams are not performing very well to the expectations of many. Majority of the players that play for these big teams you mentioned above play in big clubs in Europe top leagues and you know the season just ended and the euro competition started immediately without much break. The players are really tired and fatigue has caught up with most of them. This is one major reason why I think that teams like England, France, Italy have performed very poorly so far. We have to also consider that these players are human with flesh and blood in their body.

Its most crazy result match for Group E how possibilities four national teams have the same 4 points recently and still have second half time to know which one potential teams will qualify to knock out round. In Group E has chance for getting best third standings team for qualifying to next round but waiting the full time match result will Belgium qualified to next round or Slovakia.

The first half match result, Ukraine have dropped to bottom standings and if failure get winning tonight against Belgium will eliminate and or waiting the result match between Slovakia vs Romania have one team get winning to make Ukraine secure third best standings place.

But there is some absurdity in this formula, for example, there is a possibility that some team with 3 points, taking third place in the group, will advance to the playoffs, and Ukraine with 4 points will be eliminated from the tournament. I don’t even know what result I want here: a funny one where everyone gets 4 points and in the 1/8 France plays against Belgium or for Ukraine to win today.

Slovakia vs Romania match is also likely to be a draw. The match is now tied at 1-1. In the second half, both teams played somewhat defensively. I think the match will end 1-1.

It's a shitshow from Belgium, and I think that they should use false 9; Lukaku's performance is so horrible in this game, and he is always having problems with his positioning. It doesn't really matter how many times Doku tries to pass him, and Lukaku always misses it. The positioning is the biggest problem owned by Lukaku, and once he got the momentum,  he missed it.
I think Belgium must be concerned about their attackers before the round of 16, though the result of this match will not affect Belgium's chance to qualify for the round of 16. In the end, it seems likely the match between Belgium and Ukraine will end in a draw.

Group E is the most dangerous group we have seen so far in the tournament, all the teams are very serious and wants to advance to the next level of the competition, and we know that two of the teams have to be eliminated and for this performances they are displaying, I think goal difference will determine who to qualify, but I am very sure they will have best losers in this group.

It is almost time, and if the matches ended like this, the positioning in the group will remain as it is now, Romania and Belgium will qualify to the next round of the competition even though they will have four equal points.

 A very funny game going down in group E. Imagine the four teams playing a draw each and the annoying part is Romania is topping the group despite all of them having four points each. I never expected less in the game between Romania and Slovakia as they are both stubborn sides but I least expected that they will be topping a group where you've got the likes of Belgium and Ukraine in it.
 This tournament just shows that teams you think would be at the forefront are the ones that will be struggling and take Belgium's case for instance. Seriously, I wish Ukraine can just get a goal so they can have a hope of staying because if it ends like this, they get kicked out.

It was quite interesting where indeed the competition in group E was tight and all of them had the same victory with the same points, only what distinguished them was the goal, where Romania and Belgium had enough goal difference to make them in the first and second positions.

And unfortunately enough Slovakia has O and Ukraine -2, this decision is final of course Belgium and Romania qualify for the round of 16, and maybe we are waiting for Slovakia how the end.

But when you look at the match that took place earlier it was quite worthy of getting a match imabng for two group E matches, I think they are quite equal in terms of ability.

Spain's performance was good, but the problem was that they were just unlucky to score a goal from their own feet against Italy. Spain won thanks to an own goal from one of the Italian players, which was much better than ending the match 0-0 without a goal. But winning is much more important than who scores the goal. After all, Spain is the only team that managed to get 9 points in 3 matches, Portugal might be another one if they win against Georgia today.

Two matches in Group E have been completed where Romania, Belgium and Slovakia have qualified for the round of 16. Ukraine fell short after playing out a goalless draw against Belgium, but all teams in group E are equal on 4 points. Unfortunately Ukraine failed because they conceded more goals than the other 3 teams.

All Ukranine needed waw just a goal to keep hopes up but, a goal seems to have been so far from them. Not so far though given the chances they created in the second half. I couldn't believe Ruslan went for it and he took the corner perfectly with much precision, it could have easily been a goal if not for the ingenuity of Casteels, making a save right from the goal line to produce a 2nd corner.
Another great chance was the shot on goal from Ruslan yet again and Castagne puts his body on the way to save his team. Ukraine made the final minutes not worth risking for Belgium and even KDB had to seek time wasting strategy at the corner flag. Trying to win the game wasn't much of an option for Belgium.

Both Group E matches were drawn today. Belgium team could not win against Ukraine. The match was a goalless draw. On the other hand, the match of Romania vs Slovakia was drawn 1-1. And the interesting thing is that all four teams have equal points. Romania top the table thanks to goal difference and the Belgian side occupy the second place.

But we all thought Belgium would top Group E. But Belgium's performance is not good in this year's Euro. Belgium lost the first match against Slovakia. Despite performing well against Romania in the second match, the team could not play well against Ukraine today.

Belgium is going to face France in the round of 16. Belgium has no chance of winning against France if they perform so badly.

Keeping a player who scored an embarrassing own goal as a starter must be a joke. Another thing is his choices in the attacking area. I hope this doesn't cause us to struggle more for no reason while he can build a better lineup. Even 1 point is enough for us to secure 2nd place to face Austria instead of Spain.

Unfortunately for Ukraine and Slovakia, the table remained unchanged at the end of the match. I am thinking that this is unfair rule. If it is possible the 4 countries in this group need to qualify or atleast have another round of matches to decide clearly who will progress to the next stage. I will not be happy to have same wins and draws with other teams and have to progress while I return home. The have equal ability and need to be tested again for clarity of stand.
Such a tight result is an indication that quarter finals will be somewhat more competitive than what we see now.

So far this is the toughest group I have witnessed in this tournament, I consider Ukraine as the best fourth place because of their performance Belgium and Romania have qualified even Slovakia have qualified since they maintained the second place 3rd best. Ukraine has been eliminated but they got knocked out with a respect not like other, what really affected Ukraine is just the conceded goals they have and also scored less goals, that why it is good to score more goals if the means is there. And yeah Romania is at the top of the standings because they scored 4 goals in 3 matches and Belgium only scored 2 goals, Ukraine is certain to be eliminated because they only scored 2 goals and conceded 4 goals or overall -2 goals of course it's very sad. The group stage only leaves 2 matches then we will see which teams will go to the next round, at least the 2 top teams have taken their place there while those in 3rd place will compete with other teams to compete for some tickets.

Of all the groups, Netherlands was the most surprising team because they were only able to finish in 3rd position even though at first we predicted they would qualify for the next round easily but yeah this is the fact they have to compete again.

Ukraine will probably be offended when teams in other groups take the third place with three points and get into the playoffs, and Ukraine with 4 points is eliminated, because formally took the 4th place and if not for the first game with Romania and not negative goal difference, now would have taken the place Slovakia. Belgium played extremely weak and if Romania and Slovakia have fulfilled their task, then how the Belgium national team will play with such a game is unclear.

We are waiting for the Portugal-Georgia game today and I believe that the game will be interesting, Georgia needs to win, so it will attack to score a few goals for Portugal, because at least one goal Portugal scores for any team.
