Recently many people have been disappointed with England's performance at the Euros, even my friend who was very optimistic about England winning the trophy seems to no longer believe it. Prior to the UEFA Euros Competition, I said something about this countless times and how they're lions lead by a goat who claims he knows when he knows nothing.
He is not a tactically sound coach and has nothing to prove and can't even demand the best from his players. He has player's who top most of the charts for their clubs as well for league but can't utilize them. Also, Harry Kane hasn't been buzzing why not drop him for Ivan Toney or Ollie Watkins?

Harry Kane highest goal scorer for Bayern Munich and Bundesliga.
Jude Bellingham scored 20+ goals.
Phil Foden did win player of the season in the Premier League Competition and had his best season in between.
Cole Palmer also did for Chelsea.
Declan Rice was brilliant for Arsenal damn right I can forget Kobbie Mainoo...... You'd wonder why he can't field the best. How about Bukayo Saka? 20+ goals, yes?

We will see what happens from the knockout stage. He should stick with Rice, Kobbie Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham in midfied and Phil Foden and Harry Kane upfront. ( In my opinion ) the midfied is key if they're not moving forward then there'll be problem eventually scoring goals. So far, they have defended well.

Palmer made a change in that game he came in as a sub with the other players, one other thing is that these guys who played massively well in their clubs are the ones who are not performing well, players like Bellingham, Saka, Phil Foden even Kane are the ones who are regular starters but still they fail to bring that energy they had in their respective teams. I was expecting Southgate to drop all these players and start a fresh team because if you check those players I mentioned all played very well in the last Euros excluding Bellingham so why not give the fans new faces to start and along the line sub them and bring in those players who are the starters in this tournament.
I'm the last person to say I want England to win the tournament because they are always having the best players but not doing well. Talking about the right back, they have Alexander Arnold, Walker and Kieran John Trippier all in the same game but no left back, the team is not balanced in any way and they have better midfielders but Southgate chose to play a right back as a midfielder not giving the other good players a chance to showcase their ability and you expect them to excel? Never, I hope they get knocked out before the quarter finals.
As for Kane he can't win any trophy from the way things are going and I feel for him. Maybe England can win a trophy when he's not invited to the national team.

If I were to look at the odds ill prefer the draw odd because i hardly be convinced that Italy is going to win this match, they have not been good at scoring goals in their last matches, and it is a very big problem. Because whether they are playing against a team with better performances they need to score or they are playing against a team that they are better than they also need a goal to win. I'm not surprised that England failed in big competitions like the Euros or the World Cup even though they have many good players in their squad. England are a very different team when all their best players play in one game and I really find them struggling to win games. Who says Kane, Bellingham, Foden and Saka are not good, they are all the best players at their respective clubs. However, their performance has never been the same when playing with England and that is why England has struggled so far.

Of course, many people blame England coach Gareth Southgate because he was unable to maximize the number of great players in his squad, but I can't blame him too much because all the players selected as the main line-up should have the same responsibility to play optimally. I think there was a foul on Türkiye's goalkeeper in the goal scored by the Czech Republic. VAR should have called the referee to look at this position, but VAR did not warn the referee and the goal was considered valid. Czech Republic played with 10 players for a long time and I think they played good football. They resisted the opponent well when they were 10 people.

If Türkiye had lost the match, it would not have been able to get out of the group because Portugal lost 2-0 to Georgia. Such a score was a surprise for football fans.

I would also prefer the draw odd. Even though this match seems to belong to Italy, it is very likely that Italy will only get it in extra time or penalty shootout. So if the match is tied at the end of the 90 minutes, then Italy has a big chance of winning.

Feeling quite disappointed because most of the teams for whom I was cheering for are already out of the tournament. Croatia and Hungary couldn't make the cut among the best placed teams at 3rd position in each group. And before that, Scotland and Serbia ended at the bottom of Group A and Group C respectively. Czech Republic met with the same fate in Group F. Still I am glad that Georgia made the cut, despite the fact that they were being placed in an extremely tough group along with Portugal and Turkey.

I disagree with your first part because the foul Barak commited that led to the red card was on the midfield line. It had nothing to do with desperation. He was fully focused on the ball with his eyes and didn't have bad intent, but his ill-considered timing made him step onto the foot of the Turkish player and hence the second yellow card was justified.

You may say he was more intent on clearing the ball than he was malicious in causing the foul but you know, if they hadn't let their defense be open, I don't think the Turkish player would have found his way there.

Another thing is, I feel if Barak hadn't stopped the guy's movement, it would have proven deadly because you will have to agree that the Turkish players are not only fast, but cunning as well. Before you know it, they are in your eighteen yard box.
Admittedly, the both sides played fine football and it was very interesting to watch; no dull moments, each giving as good as they got but in the end, that red card was really what set the game off course for Czech.

You guys are lucky, and that is what makes the game interesting to see that at the last minutes of the game when there is no longer hope of winning, the opportunity will come and taking good advantage of it is the best thing to do. The last goal by Tosun made the difference and qualified you guys to the next round.

Today Italy will be playing Switzerland and I hope that Italy will be able win this match otherwise it will be a problem for them to qualify to the round of 16. I do not know who to stake my bet on because from the performance of Italy in their last match, I cannot have confidence in them.
