Two great nations hard a big fight yesterday and I couldn't stop staring my TV cause at some point I almost got tense with the way England was playing I never know that Saka was going to get that beautiful goal to bring them back to the game once again. It was a great performance from Switzerland who got the lead in the 75th minute of the game through the goal of B. Embolo, but all thanks to Saka's goal in 80 minutes if not there wouldn't be a need to play in the extra minutes before playing the penalties. One team needed to leave for the other team to qualify to the next round and it favored England yesterday as Akanji couldn't convert his penalty kick to goal and England was lucky to score all their kicks to advance to the next round, it was a nice game they had yesterday.

Even though the Netherlands was my favourite to win, I must say that I love what the Turkish team performed on the pitch yesterday. They were able to score in the first half and defended it until the 70th minute when Stefan de Vrij scored which appeared to demoralise them. This is evident with the second goal by Mert Müldür's own goal which seems to have entirely destabilised the Turkish team. No doubt, the Netherlands team was the better side but the defence of Turkey gave them a tougher time than expected even as Turkey made more scoring advances than I thought. Thanks to the Netherlands's defence, they are always prepared.

Well, without calling any doom for any country, I think the Netherlands may still advance to the final judging by their next opponent (England).
