Who's the other fighter that has a chance to face Errol Spence next if Thurman won't be his next opponent?

I'm not talking about boxers that you preferred but those boxers who are already on Spence's list, if there are any, or currently in the rumor.

It's really hard to guess mate knowing that Errol Spence is probably fooling us around these days, I mean, he doesn't have any updates at all despite the fact that people and his fans are waiting for his side to confirm things about his upcoming fight with Thurman.

If Thurman won't get the chance to fight Spence next year, I don't know anymore because if he's also scared of Thurman then I don't expect that he will fight the likes of Ortiz Jr. and Boots Ennis who is next in rank. Seems that Arum is making some hype and with such a statement it can trigger more interest coming from fans and readers, a good push for both camps as money will flow if this fight will be pushed. It's a mandatory so chances are really possible for both fighters to meet inside the ring. The organization can give some time for Spence, but the fight will proceed if the rules will be strictly implemented.

It seems to me that Keith Thurman wasn't struggling at all in his fight against Mario Barrios and in that fight, I was already expecting a much slower Thurman as for sure he will be struggling in the ring because of the ring rust effect as it has been quite a long time since he goes off the grid, but he had no signs at all in all 12 rounds. What happened was the opposite thing because he was impressive, it's just that he was just taking his time in that fight to get himself accustomed again.

His next fight came after almost 3 years, when he managed to defeat Mario Barrios by UD. The Barrios fight was quite one sided (scores of 118-110, 118-110, 117-111), but then Mario Barrios is not one of the top fighters in the super lightweight division.

Same here, Spence's camp has been silent ever since his supposed fight against Crawford didn't materialized. I guess they have nothing to say anymore especially after the latter's revelation after they let Crawford hope for nothing. Now, I'm quite afraid that the same scenario will happen because now Spence has his own reasons why the fight should be delayed and might use his legs as a reason. Hopefully I'm wrong, this fight should take place next year without any delays.

I understand your frustrations, I'd say that let's just get ourselves used to the new climate that boxing has to offer in this era. It is not just you, all avid boxing fans do know who should be fighting who but as I said, this new climate has some stronger ties to the governing bodies, that is why there's some favorites and some are getting favors to maintain their status while avoiding such risky fights.

But for Thurman, many believed that he still got some shot left in his career even after his inactivity. His recent fight shows that he can still deliver powerful punches that might give Spence some struggle.
