Slowly but surely.
WU was my first choice actually when sending payments to my friend in US for our Buy and Sell business, but nowadays we shifted to Bitcoins since it's more accessible for both parties.

The status of bitcoin is not clear at the moment globally. Some countries treat it as commodity, some as currency. Some countries ban it. So it is not a global currency yet. But it is becoming one.
It is a global currency at the moment as well because you can use it if you want from any country if you have Internet connection. It's the acceptance that can make difference in the future if the merchants will start to accept it. In that case it can create a demand for it and it can help BTC to become a currency that's accepted worldwide.

That's partly right, sure you can use it from any country if you have the internet but if buying/selling of bitcoins in your country is illegal then there might be consequences if government finds out that you're trading bitcoins and even buy/sell itself becomes difficult and acceptance relies on that, if you're a merchant you are not going to start accepting a currency which is considered illegal by your government.

I wouldn't technically consider Bitcoin as a global currency, as it still isn't very widely known. Countries tend to like to have total control of their coin, and since Bitcoin is a P2P currency, their only kind of control is having a huge share of the 21 million coins. I really don't think it will become a global currency, as it is quite an unstable little thing.
If someone/something want to control BTC by buying a huge share of BTCs, it will cause that there will be a large demand for the remaining coins and maybe it will detour the system from the normal way of working. If a huge part of coins sits somewhere under control' it can happen that people won't have enough coins to do the everyday transactions, it can make other similar cryptocurrencies to raise possibly.

There more people know about bitcoin the more value it will get(as demand). Bitcoin has a good positive trust. There will be a day in future when you can buy anything and everything with bitcoinBTC. The day is not far away, its coming. Smiley

Still waiting "soon" we'll take the world..

Stop waiting, that soon might be 30 years.

Better concentrate on earning more bitcoins and developing it. The demand will come after.

Nah, Bitcoin will either be globally used in the next 10 years, or it will decline miserably.
It will either work or not, and people will keep adopting it or something will happen that will destroy it.
Its value will soar in the next few years as it will continue to grow in representation of tangible goods... or it will crumble down because banks and governments will win the war (I don't think so, but everything is still possible).

It wont be accepted as a global currency until some regulations are made. But digital currencies will be the future but not very soon as we expect. Bitcoin will force governments to take digital currency right away.

Marketing is not happening because we don't have leading force behind bitcoin movement and we won't have 'bitcoin is the future' commercial on TV anytime soon, if ever.
Only news about bitcoin is about how it is used by terrorists and criminals and it is not good for general audience.

I feel 30 years is too long, We will be ruling the world when each and every people is aware of bitcoins. That will happen soon.
Collect as much coins as possible because it will tough to collect coins when more people come into the ecosystem.

no! BitCoin is a commodity, not a currency. The process of generating new BitCoins is even called mining! As for using "money" to "buy" things. That definition makes almost every object in the world money

Really!!! If this is told by you and in the way write by you for sure is true. Cannot be never wrong. Then the examples given by you which argues your convincing thought are devastating. No one of those cannot be put in discussion. Are the end of everything.

But lets go to the facts. According to Investopedia http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/commodity.asp :

1. A basic good used in commerce that is interchangeable with other commodities of the same type. Commodities are most often used as inputs in the production of other goods or services. The quality of a given commodity may differ slightly, but it is essentially uniform across producers. When they are traded on an exchange, commodities must also meet specified minimum standards, also known as a basis grade.

2. Any good exchanged during commerce, which includes goods traded on a commodity exchange.

So, according to zenitzz, we have a basic good that is interchangeable with other commodities of the same type. It is clear that bitcoin is a commodity because all the things bought with it are of the same type of it. All the computer bought at Dell with bitcoin, all the xBox bought at Microsoft with bitcoin and all the other things bought at internet with bitcoin (porn, movies, gambling etc.) are at the same type with bitcoin. Have its qualities (so with all of those can be bought everything) and are an invention of a peer to peer technology. More convincing arguments than the above zenitzz cannot find.

Then, always according to zenitzz, commodities are most often used as inputs in the production of other goods or services. Sure, zenitzz learn to all us that bitcoin is used widely to produce all the above things bought by it. So bitcoin is used as input in the production of computers, xBox, in the producing of porn, movies, gambling etc. Who of us have not tasted a very good porn make and played from bitcoin itself. Another undeniable argumentation made by zenitzz.

For me are enough those arguments to not go further. Who want to go forward can continue with the other arguments made from this brave, sure and deep cognitive of bitcoin.

Maybe needed to do ever one definition which fulfill the above argumentation of zenitzz and without which can be created some doubt about everything written above. What is the meaning of good.

According to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_(economics) :

In economics, a good is a material that satisfies human wants and provides utility, for example, to a consumer making a purchase. A common distinction is made between 'goods' that are tangible property (also called goods) and services, which are non-physical.

Then always according to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangible_property :

Tangible property in law is, literally, anything which can be touched, and includes both real property and personal property (or movable property), and stands in distinction to intangible property.

The big zenitzz tell in this case only one important thing which is a devastating argument in support of its inspiring theory: bitcoin is a good (commodities) which is a tangible property: so which can be touched (as it is written in the above definitions). Who of us have not touched with him's hands the beautiful coin (commodity) named BITCOIN.

Good work zenitzz. Can't wait others convincing affirmations like the one written in your quoted post by me. With the same determination and security. And even with the other explanations make in my post.

Yes bitcoin became very big globally accepted currency. It will eventually be used even in illegal position in some countries.
When it sees socially acceptance from basic users like young adults, it will be even bigger.

The good news is that we are successfully marching towards it, as there is a continuous increase in the users of bitcoins and people have started to take it positively and that is a really great sign for the bitcoin community and if the adoption level keeps on growing then bitcoins would surely become a global currency one day.

Oh that's a really great news to hear, I wish that my country also have same numbers in the coming future, as at present in my country very few people have heard about the bitcoins but still they are not using it and that makes me bit worried, We all want that everyone starts using bitcoins and help it in getting to mainstream then it can compete with USD and crash it from the market.

What i really like is that blackfriday promotion. If there are a lot of shops where you can spend your bitcoin, it will give Bitcoin such a good and free promotion..

Since new  people will see it as a currency instead of money laundering  etc.
