In a few years bitcoin will be the most popular currency in the world
I think it would sound impossible. in this world there are a lot of currencies of different countries with huge potential. bitcoin currency is small with a few users? I'm not sure a few more years bitcoin will become a global currency. unless someday bitcoin have users who reach the entire human Bitcoin will be used by many people in future but it doesn't make it as an global currency as the usage of bitcoin is limited and most of the population is not aware about bitcoin yet. I think that might happen? no one can predict correctly in the future. people have said that it is impossible bitcoin could touch $ 1,000 but bitcoin can do. and now there may be a lot of people who say that it is impossible to become a global currency bitcoin? but we will not know what will happen in the future Both that you have mentioned have happen already, we have reach the price of more than $1,000 few years back and it is not impossible to happen again as we have already achieve that, and about global currency, I believe it is already a global currency as it is already known in the entire world and we are connecting with bitcoin. The $1200 price achieved in late November 2013 does not count. That was a very big bubble and caused two years of bear market. It could happen again in years to come. Now that everyone wants every transactions to be done online, ecommerce sites and businesses would rather use crypto currencies and bitcoin of course will be in demand. People will buy btc and price will go up. |

It’s true that it was a bubble but the fact that reached that price before makes very likely that at some point bitcoin will reach a stable 1k mark. Right now we are close to the 600 mark. |

This time bitcoin's performance are more reliable because we have not seen any bubble nowadays, the recent price increase which makes the price to reach until $700+ was due to some real demand of supply and I think the price fall back to day is maybe some Chinese are pulling their investment due to superstitious belief every month of August. |

It's not theory since you have some real facts based on what will happen. First of all, the adoption is really a factor for one country to accept bitcoin. But of course it will not take the easy path since government will study first all the associated risk if their people will use this currency. Using fiat has risk, so same with bitcoin that's why they will have to analyze it first before making such regulations. |

The problem is if you offer bitcoin here in my place friends and family they can not know about it and most of them they didnt know how bitcoin work. They are not interested if you are just inform it to them.. Aso bitcoin is already global effective in any sites. |

My answer would be yes. Bitcoin has become a global currency, in Australia for example, Bitcoin will save for people hundreds of billions of dollars per year, due to transactions fees.

It can easily beat Dollar if enough people wanted. Dont forget that bitcoin is still just a guy on rollerskates in the middle of a nascar race right now, its barely a contender in comparison and can only venture manoeuvrability as superior really. It could be more then that, growth of technology is exponential and I dont doubt many are willing to support a bitcoin structure . Dollar is strong because its so well backed by various wealthy political factions across the world.
Even the Russians who would like dollar to fail actually do back the dollar system because they must do so to take part in world trade as a large exporter and importer with the world. With China directly they may swap currency but its arguable how efficient that is when both governments are not free nations or real representatives of capitalism. The US dollar has to really mess up to make those two look good in their management, with all the QE and money wasted on fiscal deficits I think that time is coming. Bitcoin could be a contender if those who control its fate and direction in the blockchain or whatever are sensible enough not to be biased in any major way
Put it simply, if bitcoin is not enabling global currency transactions and trade then I dont think it will continue even its present success. It has to be an enabler to those disadvantaged by a rigid biased dollar system and it will justify its own success without subsidy
