I believe it is only a matter of time. I  don't know exactly how much time . But  what I see happening is really exciting. Bitcoin  is the new money . It is just that the majority  of people don't know it yet.

yes it is a new currency but is more attractive currency that means it has much more features for its users than any other currency for the people so whenever someone will know about this currency they will not reject to use it but will love to adopt that for their usage and that will bring the chance that bitcoin will become a more worldwide and global currency.

not all people,as long in some country bitcoin is used about 50% of the citizens even as 2nd option of currency it's fine,make all people knowing bitcoin is nearly impossible even USD that was born from an age ago didn't even recognised by every people in this world

I think bitcoin will not become a global currency and even more, any currency will not become global. Many peoples who don't like bitcoin or dollar or euro, etc.

I don't like the euro, but as an european citizen i have little choice but to use it directly or indirectly.

And although bitcoin will never be enforced by law, the fact that bitcoin has so many advantages will make bitcoin run in the background of many apps at least. Basically 'forcing' people to use bitcoin (even if they don't know it). Most of the time this will be indirect use of bitcoin (if people don't want to use it). But people who use bitcoin directly, without any 3rd parties will be better off. Which is why most people will likely choose to use bitcoin directly.

Choice is an illusion. Yeah we have free will, but the current society does everything it can to limit your viable options as much as possible, because it's easier to control masses of people if you limit their choices. And it's easier to profit from economy of scale if the choices are limited.

Well that depends on the definition I would say.
Right now you already can use and have free access to Bitcoin worldwide! Therefore you could say it's already global.
However if we are speaking about the number of users this is compared to actual global population extremely low.
That's why I would see this more a thing of being mainstream or not. And we are definitely still far away from mainstream usage.

Yeah that's right, it really makes us (bitcoin users) excited when we see new projects and things going to be introduced soon that can bring positive changes in bitcoin so it would probably get more popular after that.

Well, people are buying and selling bitcoin with USD or any other currency but despite this fact, in virtual world people are using virtual cryptocurrency - Bitcoin. It's first and most trusted currency so I think it's global virtual currency because people are using it from all over the world and as far as I know no country has it's own virtual currency.

I dont see Bitcoin as being the string that laces up the boots of the world     Im really not seeing that tightening effect to bring various separate industries together into some kind of great efficiency.   I really wish this was the case, somehow bitcoin was like a superhero capitalism saviour of the world, bringing righteous balance and equality for all in any value transactions required.   
I mean in theory its not politically biased, its not being debased every day to feed the open hole in the sinking ship that is deficit budget vote buying in major western economies.   It should appear better then it does, I mean theres new coins being given to miners but surely their setup of infrastructure and secure confirmation is a far more practical product worth paying for then trumps or clinton next awesome idea for spending money.   Maybe it'll happen in time, the digital world is not tending into towards bitcoin afaik

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.

2 and a half year later today bitcoin still enjoy better rates in these currencies

I am very confident in the future that bitcoin could become a global currency, bitcoin will be recognized by many countries and received assurances from credible financial institution. I believe the strength of bitcoin could do it.
