I understand where you are coming from but that was a thing of past in the Nigeria Premier league. Home teams used to have a greater home advantage back then even if it means obvious officiating bias to favor the home team to win but that's not longer the story. The league is more competitive now than before. If you are following the league regularly, you will see many away wins and draw now than it used to be in the past. I'm not disputing the home advantage fact but form matters a lot now.

With Eyimba current form, even if they play Katsina United at home, they still lose that match because their form has depreciate significantly. Katsina United deserve that win not because they were playing at home but because they were better by far. Seriously, it's a pity to see Eyimba in their current situation.

Under kanu's supervision in 2023/24 the club wasn't really bad because they were able to occupy the third position on the league table but after that their performance began to drop drastically and a lot of things contributed to this. As you said, the managerial problems the club is having is causing a lot of issues and if they don't pay attention to reforming the structure entirely there would be no progress.

Yea, that is the reason most of our team are underperform and make most of our local league not interesting to the the internal rankle that management failure to manage has eating deep in our league, nothing kill club like that if not paying players because their dedications has way of being attached to the payment all work without payment is what kills dream and talent our nation team are what it's today despite the level of best players all over foreign club both English, turkey and the rest but hardly lead the AFCON as per failure of management where some time player need to sponsor for their matches without the government providing the required aid such situations never give required courage for a team to perform, and mostly when politics is involved where nepotism is also eating deep using unqualified management without seeking for external support to improve the teaching of the team, with my understanding both of you are correct I will agree with you completely.

I was expecting this game to be quite easy for shooting stars because ranchers are currently in a poor form and at the bottom of the league. Shooting stars needs this game to scale higher on the league table and they have a high chance of winning but this is football and anything can happen, we might see ranchers equalizing at the final minute but this has a low chance of happening. What do you guys think about this game?

The game between kwara vs abia was quite predictable because both teams are at the bottom of the league table and trying as much as possible to step up, it wasn't expected to be an easy game. But as for Doma I was a bit disappointed because they had home advantage, I guess that doesn't mean anything now in soccer. Asides from that they are in a very good form, the game ending up as a draw was unexpected and very disappointing because they made me lose my bet.

But as for Doma I was a bit disappointed because they had home advantage, I guess that doesn't mean anything now in soccer.

The bottom was even the reason Abia match was unpredictable for me because I was staring at the game in the morning when I was staking I didn't no what to play and just like how unpredictable it was to me is actually how the match ended because if I had forced myself on them I would have lost by now. From the last few weeks Doma United was the best in the league and I even thought they would win the league but since Enugu Rangers took the first position from them they began to change because there is nothing Kun Khalifat is playing to have had this draw with them.

It is highly commendable and I could understand how far you go to get this information because I barely come across information as regards our local matches not to talk of seeing any of our local  TV stations broadcasting a live local match for viewers.
Maybe you could also upload pictures of the match update to make it more colourful for view here, it would be nice.

I don't even consider the home advantage as a factor here because eyimba has lost a lot of home matches and you have a point about warri wolves losing 3 of their away matches, in as much as that might not really have anything to do with today's match I'm also of the opinion that they might lose and my reason is centered around Enyimba doing their best to avoid getting relegated.


It is white disappointing that eyimba fell from the height they were once to being the least among all the clubs, if they don't put in efforts they might be the ones occupying the last position before the season comes to an end. A billionaire buying the club could revive them or perhaps not. At this point Emmanuel deutsch needs to be replaced and the team needs to go through a proper reform, buying players isn't even an option for them due to the financial state of the club.

Ronsbit your correct, op have revive most of us who comment on the thread zeal to cherish our own through his regular update, if not of the corrupt system that have eaten deep all sector our local football was also an interesting game to watch despite all odd our pattern of playing football has it unique ways either by technicality and mussle Africa is able to perform once it comes to football, I will support if op do put up some pictures like others thread do put up such as team coach vital players and some management all this are what make discussion deep and share more broader ideas , op is doing a very good job it's really bringing back some loss hope of our local football to neee discussed even if all errors can't be corrected but it will help to develop love in our local football.

Well despite it's hard most time to get accurate result, this game was already inevitable result on my prediction I know ikorodu City will not survive to beat Niger tornadoes, ikorodu City is not too performance after their two loss and yesterday making it three I doubt their upcoming if they can win which is not even possible to beat shooting stars, ikorodu City has form the lining of Three draw,three losses and three wins out of their 9 game played.

I want to ask if home advantage is a criteria for a win in this league? i wonder why you mentioned that Eyimba won based on their home advantage, weren't they deserving of the win? was there some fowl play? or are there some other reasons for which you have said this, i am asking honestly out of curiosity, i didn't watch the game though, so you could help me out.

As it concerns purchasing the team by a billionaire, they will have to look like a team that has some potential for profit for a billionaire to find the team worthy of spending his money on, no Billionaire will want to just throw their money if it isn't promising them some good return, so in as much as that will be a solution, they may actually need to earn it.

Alright, I will try as much as possible to do that to make sure that I do that next time to drop a proper update of the match. Most people don't really check the live score or other platforms to see upcoming matches, they prefer to check the forum to find updates on their favorite games. Getting such informations about these games isn't much of a big deal if you prioritize doing analysis and stats but not everyone has time for that.

Some persons are very funny with the way they create fliers because this particular match didn't worth creating this kind of flier for because it wasn't as if Ikorodu City  was on a good position on the table to assume they would have good squad to beat Niger Tornadoes very easily but on the contrary I wasn't even sure they could win them at the beginning because it was 3 points Ikorodu City had against them and that's is not something to see as a big deal but however Niger Tornadoes was indeed very lucky because this three points has reduce a lot of there major problems currently while they wait for the next clashing with Abia Warriors.
