Well, but this is a very easy problem to solve, what I don't understand is how this fight still can't be done, well, in another aspect I don't think Fulton is someone who is avoiding fighting Inoue at all costs, but when he doesn't know You can, well, you can't, so here the solution is easy, they should look for another opponent for Inoue, it doesn't matter who it is, Inoue knows what he's going to face, he knows that the blows are going to hit him much harder, so this is something that should be taken into consideration, there is no other way, I don't think there aren't other boxers willing to fight him , whoever he is will always be an honor. ~snip~ They should understand and know that boxing industry is also a business industry which means that it is almost unavoidable that the sanctioning bodies and promoters will literally take advantage of the situation especially if they know that it will be a huge fight as that will mean a money in their pockets as well. Might be unfair to some, yes, but again, it is also a business.
^Definitely right and I agree. People should understand and recognize that the boxing industry operates as a business. This means that sanctioning bodies and promoters often seize the opportunity to exploit situations, particularly when there is a highly anticipated fight that promises significant financial gain. While this may appear unfair to some, it is an inherent aspect of the business side of boxing. The financial success of these events translates to financial gains for those involved. Understanding this dynamic is very important to comprehending the decisions and actions taken by various stakeholders in the sport. Well, they can try and get loud about the issue but it won't go anywhere because it is what it is. Every boxers have their own time to shine and it's up to them how will they take advantage of the limelight while they having the crowd's attention, and if people is not convinced about their skills and ability then there's nothing they can do about it. People just cannot understand the fact that everyone can be a boxer but only few are born to be a champion and make a difference in the league/industry. Yes every potential fighters have their time to shine and once it will become then for sure a lot of fans will support them and follow their fights. Like what inoue already achieve he is now one of the best of the best fighters in the whole world and maybe he have a chance to become a legendary in the world of boxing. All he need is to win this fight and for sure he can step to another division. There is no doubt about that, as long as it is about big fighters and that they are genius style, it does not matter, they adapt to any type of weight as long as they are given and have a good training, because the blows they will receive will be with more force and this means that their body must adapt to the weight in question, once they get used to it, what comes next is to apply what they know and what they have always done, surely that is like a switch, at least I know that Inoue will not affect him, and he has had a lot of time to adapt to a new category, the best thing about boxing is when they level up, it is much better and more sought after. interesting: WBA: Tapales to fight Inoue-Fulton winnerThe WBA Championships Committee have approved WBA super bantamweight champion Marlon Tapales to unify his belt against the July 25 winner of Naoya Inoue and Stephen Fulton. They also ordered former champ Murodjon Akhmadaliev and Tomoki Kameda to meet in a final eliminator to determine the division’s mandatory challenger.
Tapales dethroned Akhmadaliev last April 8 to win the crown in a controversial and close fight. Matchroom Boxing made a direct rematch request to the WBA and although there are elements that could support it, it is not feasible to do so at this time. All he need is to win this fight and for sure he can step to another division. Every boxer would really be having that kind of dream or target on which they would really be acquiring different division belts but of course this wont really be an easy path or career to take.Just take for example on how Manny Pacquiao do able to get that 8 weight division record on which it is really that awesome for a certain boxer on hitting that. Some do only get that 5 or 6 as far as i remember. Therefore, this kind of record isnt something that easy but if Inoue does have plans on reaching or breaking up that record then he might that on a fast track now. If he would be able to beat up Fulton then we might not know that if he would potentially be moving another division after this. Somewhat if he would be able to do such thing then i would definitely say that it wouldnt really be that so simple and it would be better if he would really be staying up on this upcoming new weight division but if he seems that he could able to move forward then for sure i wont be shocked if he would be making announcement or team about moving another step. It would actually depends on him but most likely he would really be doing that.

And it now happened, WBA Super Bantamweight Champion Marlon Tapales might now be the PH boxer who has the chance to face Naoya Inoue first, instead of the expectation of the majority, that it's Casimero who is currently still climbing the 122 division rankings. Of course, Tapales meeting Inoue soon will just happen if the latter will win against Fulton. If Stephen Fulton wins against Naoya Inoue, Marlon Tapales instead will unify his belt against him. If Fulton still wins, Tapales might meet Inoue as both will be a contender but the status of Casimero when that time comes might still be hanging because he can't even secure a big fight "for now" to somehow give him a chance to climb at a much higher rank. There's also a possibility that later in the 122 division, a PH vs PH might face each other. Well then, too early for these speculations mine . What matter here is, Tapales is now almost secured to have the next big fight on his timeline.

I know everyone is hoping for Inoue to win, but in case he fails, at least we can still witness a big fight as Fulton will most likely be up for a challenge before moving up to a higher weight class. Casimero's past mistakes continue to haunt him, as he still struggles to secure a significant fight. It's truly a wasted opportunity for him.

Casimero's past mistakes continue to haunt him, as he still struggles to secure a significant fight. It's truly a wasted opportunity for him. It's the fans of Casimero and himself that are hyping that Inoue is scared of him. But the fact is Inoue is busy collecting belt after belt for his legacy while Casimero is having problems with his weight and then facing opponents that are not marketable in the US. Nonetheless, if Casimero continues to win even with not popular opponents he will still get his title shot next year. His reputation as a 3-division world champion is too much to be ignored by these sanctioning bodies. I won't even be surprised if he will fight for an eliminator later this year. I am glad that Tapales will have his chance to become the first ever undisputed from Ph. Although he will remain an underdog and the task is very difficult. He needs to train very hard and focus on himself. Mandatories are coming up in this division next year. The WBA wanted former unified champion Akhmadaliev to fight for an eliminator while the IBF already set its own eliminator. The WBC already has Nery but he might be given a final eliminator. Casimero might be given by the WBO the chance for an eliminator.

^^ That's true, all the hype is coming from the camp of Casimero that they are the one who is going to beat the champion in Inoue. But it's a foregone conclusion now, it's their own wrongdoings that's why the fight didn't happen. So he needs more hype again, I was just hoping that him and Nery will be a eliminator or someone in the WBO rankings.
Probably Tapales being the first Filipino to fight for a unified belt? not sure about it, but I do agree that it will be a very hard road for Marlon. If he was able to upset Akhmadaliev, the story might be different with Inoue or Fulton by chance.

Although there might be some changes when it comes to the possible opponent of Casimero, Inoue and Tapales because I think Fulton will shuffle all the cards in time when he leaves the division and vacates the belt he is possessing, if he won his future fight with Inoue.

It would be more positive for the contenders in this division if Fulton wins, as he might pursue his plan of moving up in weight class if he defeats Inoue. However, if Fulton loses, he may still consider moving up, but Inoue would hold the belts, which would make it tough for the contenders. Inoue is likely to aim to become an undisputed champion again, posing a challenge for other fighters in the division. As for Casimero, if that scenario unfolds, he may not be easily given an opportunity. However, with hard work and dedication in all aspects of his career, he could potentially get lucky and secure meaningful fights. Winning consistently is necessary to increase his chances and make a strong case for title opportunities.

If inoue losses against Fulton is ranking will surely goes down, while Casimero's rank goes up, it is an obvious feat that they will meet halfway but the problem lies on the promoter and manager. No matter how close they are in ranking if the promoter is against' the deal of the fight, then we cannot see them fighting. I read somewhere that Tapales wanted Inoue to win because Inoue's style suits Tapales' boxing style. They said that Tapales will be having a hard time facing Fulton since Fulton does not brawl and often times box his way through the fight.

By now the injury must have been dealt already and overtime its already cured. If its not the fist that's broken, it wouldn't be a big deal in the fight. Inoue is not old yet, there is no way he can't get used to the weight after few months.
One more advantage with this fight is that Fulton vs Inoue fight will be held in Japan. He'll do his best to impress his fellow country men to give them an spectacular KO.
On paper, it seems that almost all advantages are pointing towards Naoya Inoue, leaving the current 2-belt champion, Steph Fulton, as the underdog in their upcoming bout. Personally, I cannot really bring myself to oppose whatever is laid in-front of us now and favor the champion because even if Inoue is just the challenger here in Fulton's division and this is his first fight at 122, it's just real hard to go for the opposite way and bet against the crowd favorite. It might be hard to think about the possible outcome for now because I also don't want to underestimate Fulton, but in this instance, I will go with the Japanese monster. It isn't just the crowd but the talent and ability of Inoue speaks for itself. Inoue had a flawless performance in 118 lbs, and 122 is just one division higher, and the time he moves to 122 lbs, he is already having a hard time to catch up with the 118 lbs weight requirement. So the moving up in division of Inoue is believed to be the perfect timing and is due. I also think that there will be no reduction on Inoue's speed and reaction plus his punching power will increase due to added mass which make Inoue more deadly. That is the reason I think why Fulton is underdog despite of being a champion and good record in this coming fight. Considering that Inoue's having an issue with reducing his weight means that he will be more comfortable in this division, that will give him more solid power punch and in terms of quickness, it's not a big deal for him. 122lbs is just a division away from his previous weight, so the adjustment is not that hard, plus the fact that he will be fighting in front of his own fans, that adds inspirations and by culture we know pride is really important to every Japanese fighter. Inoue can use that as an additional boost to hype his performance and to win these fights. Might be easy to say because we are not the ones who are fighting directly against Steph Fulton who have been owning the division for quite some years now but for Inoue, he's not taking it easy because after all, this is not his division and it's not yet guaranteed that he will perform impressively in this division compared to what we saw him while he was still at 118. But you got some points, it's just a 4 pounds heavier compared to bantamweight so I guess he will not be having some troubles in this division. That is what I think, from the way the Japanese fight, I would say that this category doesn't matter so much right now, I know that the blows will hurt more, that his training must be harder but that he has everything he needs to doing it is a genius boxer for me, Fulton may be the owner and lord of this category, but let's be clear, here in boxing skill + intelligence + strength wins, each one has the technique and they may want to copy some of the techniques of some, but here who uses the strategies well is the one who wins. If Fulton will win and Inoue will stay on this current division, the chance of seeing Casimero vs Inoue might take place, it's possible since the belt will be vacant once Fulton move up. Well, the important thing is that Inoue can show himself as he really is, for me he is one of the best boxers in the world, no matter what category they put him in, he will always train and stay at the level they need, if they want him to. Segro's story will beat Fulton , on the other hand, Casimero, the fight with Casimero is already making noise and we haven't even seen Inoue debut, so we can't do things like that either, we must wait and see how it Develops, but he won't do future fights It's a good option, least of all not for now , we have to wait to See if the fight will finally take Place with Fulton First.

What you're saying is not entirely impossible mate because as long as Casimero will stay active and have successive fights, soon enough, his ranking will surely increase and most probably will earn himself a big fight someday. Although there might be some changes when it comes to the possible opponent of Casimero, Inoue and Tapales because I think Fulton will shuffle all the cards in time when he leaves the division and vacates the belt he is possessing, if he won his future fight with Inoue. If Fulton will win and Inoue will stay on this current division, the chance of seeing Casimero vs Inoue might take place, it's possible since the belt will be vacant once Fulton move up. Though if ever Inoue will win, then the chance to see Tapales to be his next target is possible by knowing Inoue, he wanted to unify all belts. Let see what would be the outcome first from this upcoming fight next month. Right, so this two scenarios are probably the best one, and if I'm not mistaken, could still be a win win for Inoue. I mean he could stay in this division and clean it up because Fulton will move up. And if Fulton move up and then doesn't want to unify with Tapales then maybe Marlon will have to wait for the title eliminator. And since the belt will be vacated, another opportunity for other boxers to enter the picture and fight for the belt. Could be a win win for Inoue as obviously it might not take too long for him to have a chance on whoever wins the belt. Great chance as well for Casimero to move up in ranking and maybe figure out a way to be in the title contention. So let's see what scenario will take shape after this fight.

But just like what is happening in other divisions, an Inoue vs Casimero might take place although it's not that guaranteed because of the reason that I've mentioned but Top Rank might select Casimero during the process while it's not that risky for their boxer compared to when Inoue is the champion.

Maybe we just want to see them fight, simply as that. And because during the height of Casimero's steamrolling and becoming a champion of WBO at 118 lbs, and we thought that he could be a good match against the Monster and we almost see this fight happening if not for Casimero's weight issues. And now that Casimero also campaigns at 122 lbs, we are still intrigue with this fight and that's why we are still calling for it. Nevertheless, it might be a difficult road for Casimero as he still needs to make a name for himself at super bantamweight. His fight here although he won, is against unknown fighters. So he needs to fight a rank boxer in order to be recognized again.

At his current age, he can still become a champion again. Let's wait for the outcome of this fight and see the potential fights for Casimero in that division.

Casimero is a fairly well-known boxer and has won several titles in his class, even for the Batam WBO class he has his belt from 2019 to 2022. He will be the favorite fighter in this fight. I think he's not too old, so his stamina is still good enough to become a champion, his record is quite good where he got 33 wins 22 KO. Well, let's see hopefully he can fight as we hope.

This is the fight between Fulton and Inoue, and if we see Casimero having a chance to fight in the future, we should expect that he will not be the favorite if he becomes the challenger to either Inoue or Fulton. However, as a bettor, I would be glad to bet on him because I believe he is very hungry for a win and to be recognized as one of the best boxers of his generation. It's more like his last chance to prove himself to the world, and I'm riding with that.

Inoue will be a heavy favorite if there is a chance that he will face Casimero. Casimero just needs to stay active if he wants to get his title shot ASAP. A Casimero-Nery fight would be good but I also believe that Casimero will be the underdog. We would love to but in reality, it is hard to imagine Tapales winning against Inoue. Inoue might be too quick, too strong, and too powerful for Tapales. Tapales has a better chance of becoming undisputed against Fulton. Fulton has high boxing skills but there are numerous times when he exchanged punches even if he is not heavy-handed and Tapales might be able to outslug him. Anyways, whoever is Tapales' next opponent, he needs to train hard and stay focused.

Me as well, I would be happy to bet for him knowing that he will do everything just to prove that he's the best fighter and it might be the only chance that he got to reach that goal. Though still far from as he need to keep winning to impress the organization and have that exposure to be the best challenger to whoever win and give him that opportunity.
