You missed the deadline so your result in first round will be bad but plenty more of rounds to come.

Damn it! I see that I have put Đoković and Alcaraz to fight in the finals in the Q9.

I found this odd when I last checked because these two were on the same branch and were never going to meet in the final, but sh*t happens. But for you  to survive this one is if Djokovic comes up with an upset using some old tricks that come with experience of the game as his still rusty but still a threat.

The other half of the question is already wrong because Sabalenka lost to Muchova in the semi final game yesterday.

Another reason why am not a fan of women's tennis,  too many surprises and it was too good to be true that seed 1 and seed 2 would face each other here...

It is very simple, RG gives slots on ranking and that means Alcaraz got first seed and Djoko 3rd which means same side of the draw. Wimbledon usually adjusts seeds by their prowess on grass which can be a better call if done properly.

2nd seed was Medvedev and he lost in round 1 which made botom half look really week.

Meh, that finished much faster than anyone thought, I expected so much more from the so called "match of the season".

Indeed but Djokovic's performance was outstanding. I went for Alcaraz on this one and a lot of others did as well, but even when you neglect the physical issue of Alcaraz, I asked myself after seeing Djokovic playing for a while in this game why I didn't choose him. He is still the dominating force in tennis no matter what the surface is. No idea how many of you watched the game, but this was clearly a game that showed how important Djokovic's experience is and how he knows to make use of it. He has his mind under full control from the first till the last game. Respect for that and he quickly realized that Alcaraz won't give up on a single point even when Djokovic sends him from corner to corner all the time. Most players get tired and start making mistakes themselves, but Djokovic didn't. He is in top shape and after that game I have no clue who should stop him in Paris. That is a mission impossible.

Imagine your opponent pick the finalist bad because they were in the same side of the draft and the number one got injured and you are not gonna ended winning a point and your opponent in a bad take yes.

wasn't thought that Alcaraz is gonna end-up injured, but overall thought that Djokovic will win it, and on @2.9 before match, it was a value bet
but Ruud is also playing great tennis, has a RG final experience, and that could prove a much tougher task for Djokovic than this SF

no odds for final yet, at least on my bookies, but anything above 2.5 on Ruud, I will take without a doubt as value bet (not saying he is going to win, but IMO odds should be close to 1.8 Djokovic, 2.0 Ruud)

Just when I thought Djokovic should retire,.Although he has failed me multiple times when I needed him the most, I believe he is still totally active in the game. Not a horrible outcome for you, Slokovic.

Yes, I just realized it, at first I thought the competition would start when all the leagues entered the new season but no problem this is my first experience
It wasn't as easy as I thought because I was blind on some of the games I only understand about football/soccer lol
BTW I've filled out the form and in the last question it seems I made a mistake I only choose Uruguay, how to edit it? my answer 1. Uruguay 2 Italy 3 Israel 4 Korea

I do like to see the girls play,  although I should have thought about that when you mention the variance/surprises. I managed to place a girl in the final. Muchova escaped me, who in the results had more favoritism than Haddad, who by the way of what you mention was fighting to put the game 1:1 with a very good tiebreak fight.

On the boys' side, I am in the answer correct, all that remains is for Djokovic to secure 23 GS.

This Delija guy looks like Brighton at best, and from what I've seen he's fighting against a 'Middlesbrough'.

So you are saying that all questions in BSFL you are going to ask must be from top leagues, championship matches and top events?
I wish you good luck doing that during this summer, you will need it  
As for Brighton, if I remember correctly we had that team in our BSFL questions many times.

You can't edit your answers, if this was before the deadline i would edit it in the table for you. Now it doesn't matter since games have already been played and you can't get point for that question. We had to answer it before semi final games. You submitted very late so consider this first round as practice. Probably no chance for you to actually win your game. But plenty of rounds to come so nothing is lost. Be sure to submit next one on time

Of course I watched tennis. Can't believe Alcaraz did not forfeit this one, he really had no chance after the cramp. Too bad, that incident robbed us of potential match of the year performance.

There are always some qualifications games for the European competitions in football during the summer. The best teams are not playing, but there could be some interesting games. Besides, I think that Trofo and cryptofrka said that we could even get a break in some weeks when there are no interesting games. Or maybe we will get questions about less known sports. I'm good either way...

@notblox1 nice head to head between us so far and I actually like that it is still exciting. It makes following the events more fun.

You say you can't learn to love tennis, but what caught my attention years ago were the games between the guys Federer, Djokovic and Nadal. I once saw a game like 15 years or so ago and thought that it is crazy how for them it is routine to hit the ball on the line five times in a row. That is when I started watching the games between the stars as I think the precision these guys have is unbelievable. The endurance in five set games and then still going for it when you have a match ball against you and still hit the line. I don't watch a lot of games, but in earlier days when it was a game between the aforementioned three or a big GS final, I watched quite frequently and this is why it is indeed sad that Alcaraz got injured. That was one of those games I took the time off and prepared for a five hour marathon. Not that great it ended how it ended.
