Round 8 has been one of the most dramatic ones. 4 out of 6 matches played in Division 1 finished with draws. I don't assume there was such thing in the previous rounds. All of 37 members answered 2 out of 10 questions wrong and this was one of the other interesting points.

I saw a question related to Dota in the new round. I'm a strict follower of League of Legends however I don't have any knowledge about Dota. Therefore I have to trust my luck in this question.

All I can say that I'm pretty surprised that I still haven't lost a game in the league. Even in the cup I lost to Slissy after the penalties I will try my best to keep this hard earned first place, but it won't be easy.

I was checking the rewards for the first season and if I'm not mistaken, those prizes in USD have grown significantly since the start of the competition due to BTC price increase. In the table it says that the prize for the 1st place in division 2 is $200, but with today's price it's $270. Not bad...

There have been many draws this round in division 1..
Luckily over 6.5 cards saved me for a draw…

Yeah it destroyed my hopes. Last minute yellow cards to make it 5:5 instead 4:6 for me. And all that after we had only 2 cards in first 60 minutes. Anyway here are the results and latest tables.

Many draws indeed, I am the King of draws in Division 1, makes me so annoyed with myself. And the cards count, what was I thinking of course there will be more than 6, even if it takes 1 red card, which I always say anyway is a great bet on La Liga.

But hehe great game. At least if you don't win, you can look back and say this was the match that lost you the title :p

Patches in games usually mean some balancing changes which might affect some teams more than others.
I have never heard of any of these teams and I don't even know how DOTA is played so I'll just wing it.

Small patches just balance some heroes and items, this one should be a bit bigger but I must admit I did not read about in detail yet.

Basically it throws the meta around and we can see some strange games and heroes.

I think that you can finish the league at a much higher position if you win your remaining 3 matches. Everyone has points close to each other. For example even though I'm at the 2nd position now the point gap between me and Jayce who is at the 7th position is only 3. Every question to be answered correctly in the remaining 3 rounds is at a premium.

With so many orange on the spreadsheet, this would have to be one of the most difficult rounds for everyone.

It was actually one of my best rounds so far and taken in account that nobody got 2 question right I am counting that 5/8 correct and hoping for the 6th green one to secure my win and free bet in Div2.

Saka failing to score that PK to kill off the game after the BTS came so quickly for me, and the 90+3 yellow in the Valancia ruined my chances of winning the last round. Two unfortunate situations.

Once more a lot of close calls. DOTA I have no idea about that and also can't conclude what impact that patch might have on the tournament, but I gave it my best guess.

But even the game between Sevilla and Manchester United is hard to guess because Sevilla probably gained lots of confidence due to the first leg ending rather in their favor with lots of luck. But now they have exactly the situation they were looking for. They don't have to be too aggressive and can once more wait for some lucky situation.

And I didn't check the stats between Juventus and Sporting until just a few minutes ago. I didn't know that Sporting was actually dominating most of the game. They had 59% ball possession and 15:9 shots in an away game against Juventus. That wouldn't have happened a few years ago, but it is not the Juventus we all knew back at their best times. There are going to be some exciting outcomes I guess.
