That was such a stupid mistake and his reaction described it perfectly. That was the chance Inter was hoping for and Lautaro squandered it. They had more chances later on which fell for Lukaku but then it was already 1:0 for City and I am not sure it would be enough, but goal from that mistake would have gutted City.

I've never rated Lautaro he is not a brave striker; he nearly ruined Argentina's World Cup chances, and the coach was brave enough to let him sit on the bench and watch; he ruined Inter Milan's chances of winning with poor decisions and selfish play; he saw Lukaku running behind in an open space, but as usual, he tried to score from a tight angle. The goal may have completely changed the outcome.

I didn't expect Inter to be defeated by City in the regular time of the match. Inter had the opportunity to reach extra time, but they didn't do so, especially after wasting several chances in the last quarter of the game. I think we had similar questions in past and it was said that only cards on the pitch is counted. It's same thing like when you bet on card under/over markets.

I guess its a good start on season 2 for me, I was so close on losing against you but I think its a draw for us right with Israel winning the 3rd place and Korea got the 4th place. Basically the final round wont matter to our answer because we both had the same selection on the 1st and 2nd winner

Regarding this - we're aware it could have been misinterpreted. We thought that the form of the question itself (Inter will have to resort to all kinds of tactical tricks to upset City) pointed to the fact that the bench cards will be counted as well.
Inzaghi's move was tactical - it allowed Inter to send all men forward for the last cross - so we will count it as a 4th yellow card.

In the future we'll make sure to cover such things, but we have also added the following rules to the OP.

Sports Grading Rules – Following will be taken in consideration unless otherwise stated in the question itself
* Football question are regular time, no extra time or penalties.
* Cards in football are counted both on pitch and off pitch. Yellow card is one point, red card is 2 points. Second yellow is one point. Meaning any player can accumulate maximum of 2 points.
* Player props, like goals scored or assists are for the purposes of our competition are counted as valid even if player did not play a single second of the game.
* Forfeits in sports like Tennis or loses due to technical problems in eSports are counted as regular ML wins.

Whenever something is unclear, either ask us in the thread (we're always lurking around) or check these general rules we wrote.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and the form of question that we understand could have been interpreted differently.

Your post made me look at the results posted below the spreadsheet and I see that some of you really killed it in the first round, but only managed to get a draw. For example Trofo and strongkored both gave 7 correct answers like you said and on the other hand cls63 managed to get a win against Slissy with 5 correct answers. But that's how it goes in sport (even though I wouldn't count this competition as a sport ) - sometimes you really do your best but you also must have luck on your side to win. Good game everyone. regarding Israel, they played really good against South Korea, and deserved to win that one, I had a feeling that Koreans are good enough to pick third place, but was wrong
Uruguay was way better than Italy, and deserved to win that one as well, so both matches finished on a bit outsider side (but both were a three-way match, no favorites)

Too make it even worse from my point of view I had 7/8 correct questions and still wasn't enough for a win. I just needed one of the U20 games to go my way, I had perfect tell on semi final and one victory for the favorite would have been enough. My opponent missed semi final game and managed to get Korea on last place right to get a draw.

Our online spreadsheet has just been graded, take a look and complain if something is wrong. usually cryptofrka does those things I will post results and whole season schedule during the day.

We have two more penalty points for NavidArt & LFC_Bitcoin. Their answers on question 10 have been deemed in violation with following rules, quote from OP:

3.) Please submit all the answers, and submit them with possible outcomes. When you give free points in your H2H questions to your opponent, it isn't fair to all other league members.
4.) To deal with the situations from points 2) and 3), we are forced to introduce some penalties. Each team that fails to submit answers on time or submits the answers in a way that is not in accordance with competition rules will receive a 1 point deduction – not for that round but from total points won in the league.
      We think the penalty is fair to keep the league competitive, and you can always ask in the thread if you don't understand some of the questions.

Sorry guys but we have to stick to our own rules and try to keep the competition as fair as possible. There were several other suspect answers but either due to the luck or partial research those people did not get the penalty this time around. We will only punish answers that are totally off the grid. There were several 5 set or 4 set answers for WTA RG final but rest of that answer was ok and there were a couple more strange answers for question 10 but all those other participants at lest got a couple of correct teams.

I started the round badly and finished well and in the end  3 points were important. My tennis answer were not that accurate. My only regret was that I changed it at the last minute to 2.5 under in the West Ham game. But no problem, I'm looking forward to the second round. This contest is more fun than I expected.
