Since there are no tennis questions this week, I decided to give my answers earlier than usual. I hope there won't be any surprises today. That F1 question gave me the biggest trouble. I have no idea about that sport because I don't find it attractive to watch. I went with few domestic drivers who I hope will try harder in their homeland. With other pairs I just went with random selection because I didn't know how to do the research. Btw, Trofo I didn't know that you are covering our competition for Sportsbet website. It's nice to see my name on the same website as the CL news. Now I know how it is to be a football star when everyone writes about you  haha |

Your post made me look at the results posted below the spreadsheet and I see that some of you really killed it in the first round, but only managed to get a draw. For example Trofo and strongkored both gave 7 correct answers like you said and on the other hand cls63 managed to get a win against Slissy with 5 correct answers. But that's how it goes in sport (even though I wouldn't count this competition as a sport ) - sometimes you really do your best but you also must have luck on your side to win. Good game everyone. I'm off to see the questions for this week. To even see Slissy with so few points is not possible but it happened. I think last season also I thought I should have won couple times but ended up drawing. I am the opposite of you, by the way. You are invincible... I am unwinnable lol. Best of luck to my opponent(Strongkored). You beat me last season, but i'll do my best to even up the score. Each round will of course be very different and in my opinion, the second round is more difficult to predict, such as the European nations league, hockey, and F1 questions, but I will also try my best too because the first round only got a draw even though I got 7 correct answers, it was a tough match, and the promotion team from division 3 appeared quite impressive in the first round. Already entered my answer there is nothing to wait for, because this time there is no tennis match.
I'm curious who got the free bet in the first round, I didn't see it in the spreadsheet nor was it announced, although I didn't get it because someone got bigger point in division 2. |

yeah, there is nothing special that can happen to influence answers at this point nevertheless, I will send my answers on usual time, simply there is no time to do it earlier we are getting into summer, and questions about Nations league, but handball is a nice addition to questions, not sure but I think this is a first time to see handball questions? there is some volleyball as well, playing world league, maybe that is worth adding as well |

Just sent mine and felt like questions were actually tricky for me when it comes to say, handball. I don't know anything about it, so I have to rely on bookie odds to understand who's the favourite. Then, the other problem is I find it very difficult to not answer the way I bet, and not to overthink things -- F1 I believe will be the question with the most surprises, as it often is even on a "predictable" track. For the driver match-up, for example, without mentioning the names, there's one pair where the favourite odds-wise is huge, but performance wise, he's only beaten the guy once (when they both finished). For me it makes much more sense to bet on the underdog here given H2H this season he has an equal performance. But I must learn not to pick that underdog for this BSFL format, I believe that was my mistake last season, giving away points on big underdog. Slissy is up next, yikes *cracks fingers*

yeah, it is a round where you have to put some picks on a gut feeling, not sure how it will come up eventually but nice feat to see Croatia as a nations league winner in example for question answer (will be interesting to see how Cro2 will answer actually that question) tough round, but it is a summer break in football leagues, so time to look further to other events |

Those that miss the deadline even for a minute will get one penalty point and their answer on question 1 will not be counted. After that it goes as usual, we don't count anything that has already started or some new big info became available.

I understand the penalty point for delivering late, there is no doubt about that. Now, you do not allow answer 1.
