One time I went to the bookies and saw cricket live and team A was winning like 150-0 and the odds on them winning were 7 or something.
Normally, I took half of my student paycheck and bet on it, I was sure it's a mistake by the bookie. I happily went to take a walk, when I returned to see the score it was like 345-150 for the other guys.

This time that wasn't the case, did not watch a single game and made a ticket just by hunch and results I checked. Not something that I share usually and you can see stake is small. For instance if you want for today, I believe all 4 games will go over 2.5 maps but again that is far from certain but odds are good and that is what I played. Singles and one multi.

In this example, Coin_trader submitted the answers on Wednesday at 2:30 AM, which leaves us with another really difficult choice to make.

He did not have any real advantage by submitting late, but we have to take into consideration that some people maybe had to submit the answers at 2PM because they couldn't submit at 7PM.
Therefore, we can't allow that advantage and questions 4, 5, 7 and 10 also won't be accepted because the games were played during that day, up until the deadline.

Situations like these will always cause dissatisfaction for somebody, and the decision will be hard on Coin_trader. It would have been harder on Rikafip though if we accepted the answers on those 4 questions.

Me too, I thought everyone would go for Ferrari actually, and thought maybe I would be a smart guy to pick Mercedes, but mainly because I think Hamilton would have an advantage in this track, I always feel like locals get such a big boost. Guess a lot of others thought the same

So Betboom got default loss despite winning this match because one of their players were stream snipping in the middle of the game thus they will be playing in the lower bracket. Bad news for us that picked Betboom as well as currently they are on 1-1 against Azure Ray in the lower bracket and is playing with a Stand-in player because the player that cheated got suspended

Nah, trying to force them is the last thing that we want to do. We just want to keep it fair, and if somebody is in a different time zone and is sleeping at deadline time he's already at a disadvantage.
If in the future rounds we'll have just 1 question that carries a negative point, we risk that people might calculate and submit on Thursdays.

It really is hard to make these decisions on a case to case basis, and we don't want to make a rule in which submitting the answers late means an instant loss. We hope that we won't have to take that route, although even that would be more fair than this 'case per case' stuff that we are trying to keep in place just so that the penalties aren't too big for being a bit late.

My opinion is that a rule must be the same for all. If the rule says that answers for questions whose games have already started will be voided, they should be voided. In all competitions rules are there for a reason and if you start making exceptions, there will always be someone who thinks that he/she deserves an exception. It may sound hard, but it will be easier for you guys. There are a lot of us in the competition and you should make it easier for you to manage the competition.

That's just as I expected, that is for England to be the favorites even if slightly, but with the odds for a potential draw being involved, this is more like 50/50 odd for the bookies, upon checking on the Flashscore average bookies odds, Spain is the slight favorite now @ 2.75, while England to win is valued at @ 2.77, with a 3.46 Odds for stalemate.

I might end up chasing the Odds for the draw, that seem like the most valuable of all 3 options so far imo, except I get extra insight or let's call gutsy inspiration to go with just either of them to win.

If we didn't have 17 new players this season, we would have went that way for sure.
Eventually it is planned to work like that, and will probably happen already in Season 3.

3-0 is the default 'forfeit' result in football, that's why that one was implemented. We can think it over, but I really hope it won't be necessary.

If we ever meat in real life I expect at least a bear for shares like this. 4/4 correct, each with odds @1.9 or more. Damn I am really becoming DOTA specialist. This is now 8/8 in two days. Too bad one game got changed and my initial multi got partially paid out but still a nice boost to my bank
