In the previous season the league didn't end very well for me and it is no different than that now either. But I was really satisfied with my success in the cup. I wonder if I can repeat this but you are a tough opponent for me considering our previous matches. It looks like we have only 5 questions this time and a penalty question. Let's see if any of us will be able to finish the job instead of waiting on penalty question.

The questions are good, but could definitely lead to a draw before the penalty question and it wouldn't surprise me if you and I do not have the answer before the São Paulo - Santos game took place. I am sure we see each other in the penalty shootout!

I decided to forfeit my cup entry, I needed a break from all this and focus on the league instead. I have been doing badly ever since season 2 start so I guess its time to take a break for me before the next round start next week. Besides that I dont think I could go either way to the top and win the cup so yeah I'll just focus on staying in division 1 instead because Im currently in deep hole

I was close to using mine but I decided to take the risk to see if we both have Swiatek (and we did).

The main competition is more important and my previous VAR use was useless, I don't want to make a fool of myself again.

I agree, it's better to save them for the main rounds and this is one of the rounds that I don't mind taking as they have no impact on the standings.

Jesus, what happened to her? Svitolina killed her in the third set with an easy 6-2. It was the second time that they meet, but Svitolina is 76th on the WTA. That's why I don't like women tennis... Always full of surprises.

Was the game over before the deadline for after? I'm not in the cup so I didn't wanna wait for the last second to send my answers.

Well, Svitolina was Top 15 in ranking before maternity break, so, it's not that Swiatek lost to no name player. But yeah, most part of game Swiatek didn't played her game. And in general, she isn't doing very well on grass, 1/4 final is already her best achievement.
If I'm not mistaken game ended before deadline and I waited until end of it to sumbit answers

Svitolina really doesn't play like someone who had just had a baby around 10 months ago, she's mastered her craft since she returned, and she's done a really good job to deserve a place in semi final at Wimbledon, has she's to face a number of tough opponents too, so her semi final game being a match against Vondrousova made really she's probably destined to get to the final this because, she's got the fairest opponent for that regardless of would be outcome of the final 4 players in the remaining 2 quarter final fixtures. She's earned it having knocked out Swiatek in what could have been 2-0 in for her, I guess the third  3 round showed that her winning the match no fluke, and I've been keeping tabs on her since match against Venus Williams in the first round.

Just out of curiosity (I won't use VAR as I'm not competing in this round), until when can we use VAR in situations like this? Is it until the final game starts?

Now that I mentioned Montenegro it is about time to share what we were doing there isn't it? Well Sportsbet has a big international cricket tournament there in Porto Montenegro and we decided it is close enough to give them a visit and say hello to everybody.

Brett Lee was there and we have a nice picture with him. For those of you who don't know he is quite famous in cricket circles, especially Australian ones. Anyway great guy. We also watched Steve play live for the first time. His first game on Monday wasn't much but he had a great run on second day and batted over 100 points (hopefully that is the right term). Think of it like scoring hat trick in a football game.

Anyway we had great time as always and big thanks to Sportsbet once again. Time to get home back to our daily schedules and all the responsibilities that brings with it. This also means we now sort of know rules of the game so maybe more cricket questions in the BSFL future

I remember reading those rules and that's why I asked the question. I saw that Ozymandias_DZ requested VAR to change his answer because I thought that it was after the deadline. Now I checked again and I see that I was wrong. If I calculated correctly (I hate calculating time zones), he requested to change his answer 23 minutes before the deadline so it's all good

Damn, I couldn't make my predictions in time.    I had some connection issues and it lasted for a really long time that I was able to join only with a late entry to this round. I wish I made my predictions right away when I entered the forum yesterday. Now I have just given my opponent a really good advantage.
