Summertime mean less work at hand right ? and Over 48 hours of grace window is a whole lot, I think it's inexcusable especially this something that gets spoken about in here every week, but my conclusion is that competition have different level of relevance to each and everyone, so if someone can miss the window twice or 3 times consecutive, dropping such participant to the lower wouldn't be a bad idea, I'm sure there are some participants in other levels that wouldn't mind to pay twice as much to play in the first division.


I'm currently tuned into the FIFA Womens World Cup between Nigeria and Canada.., We're playing as the underdog here, but with how the opening matches went yesterday, I'm more than optimistic for the Nigerian Super Falcons here! Let's go ladies!

You pasted just part of the post and I even said in the next one once again: "We are not dropping people in lower leagues", they are getting negative points and loosing H2H matches which should make them drop the leagues..

Nope, Pogačar is still in the race but is more than 7 minutes behind.
It looks like Vingegaard with more than 1:30 is all but certain, but there are 3 more stages to go and some things can still change.

It was funny, the other day I was watching TV and there was cycling on the news. I usually don't even follow it or know the names, but I saw the title say 'Vingegaard increases his advantage'.

I see some of you doing the same and exploring all kinds of sports and games because of it and I'm really happy to see that - that's exactly what we hoped to achieve here.

Agreed on this ofc. We'll brainstorm a bit, but our hands are kinda tied here.
What we can say is that the longer the competition exists, the more stricter we're gonna be with the rules.

The whole idea was to have 2 really competitive leagues, and then the lower leagues can have some players that occasionally forget to submit. But we really want to avoid that in Div 1 and Div 2.

About penalties, I have not experienced that yet but I can personally say that I won't hold it against anyone who wins because of penalty. It happens, everything will be equal over the long term so you guys have no complain from me about this system

What do you mean by "what happened to Heroic and Liquid"? Heroic won the Group B final so they are the winner of the group B and Liquid have lost the Group C final game. So the correct answer on the 7th question is NIP, Heroic, FaZe. I just hope that I didn't mess something up but those are the winners of the Grand Final games for each of the groups.

I definitely didn't enjoy my victory in a round where my opponent had a penalty (the actual outcome was a draw so I got 2 free points). If I win (haha) by a point or two, it would not feel good for me, or those in 2nd/3rd place.

But there's no good way to do it, and this method we have, I have no issue with. Best we got, really.

BTW cool video shared with the Mbappe deepfakes -- I always said women's football at top level has good technical skill -- but off-the ball skills, formation, defence, and goalkeeping are far off the mark. Still some ways to go in terms of development.

I agree. I guess that eventually all those late submitters will drop to lower leagues due to missing points. If you guys want to be more strict, maybe you can increase the number of points deducted for those that are frequently late with submitting their answers. I agree that submitting late gives their opponents unfair advantage over the rest of us.

And it is ok for DOTA expert to ask everyone a DOTA question? You are starting with big advantage.  
I never heard anyone complaining who won something because other team or player got punished and eliminated for drug abuse, or for missing the weight or any other rules break.
There is no way I would feel like shit because of that, and its not like this is championship h2h fight for winning 1 million dollars.

If not stated differently in the question itself, all the cards count. I'm quoting a rule from the OP:
