How to use VAR? 

You have 3 per season, you just send a DM (Telegram works too) to Trofo or myself before the submission deadline. It allows you to change an answer to a specific question.
We introduced it specifically for situations like this one, where we want to include a major event but where it's impossible to be 100% sure that the question will still be 100% legit before the deadline.

It is meant to give a minor advantage to those that are active and are tracking upcoming events as well.

Yes I did a quick check as well and most likely none of us will get fully destroyed at least But I do prefer when many more answers are different. However, I did expect that we may have several answers in common. Believe it or not, I like when the round goes until Sunday evening. Of course I admit that a quick round never hurts and it's cool to know to have the three points safe, but still the wins you get in the very last moment are the best!

Yes, as sometimes everything can go against all odds, it is indeed quite often about luck. But still a good instinct can be valuable

Porto are really playing this game like a team with a plan, and the good part about their approach is that they aren't defending with the park the bus style, but attacking to defend!!! So notblox1 I see that we have only three different questions. The first of them (Barcelona - Napoli) gets settled today. If one of us gets a point, it will be a huge advantage. I hope I'll be right with two goals from Lewandowski and Osimhen.

I didn't use VAR so far, hence I wasn't looking into the topic in detail. But today I wondered whether 1 VAR point always applies to a whole round no matter how many changes, or to 1 change in an answer to 1 specific question. If I wanted to change the Djokovic answer today and another answer, would that still be -1 VAR? Or would it count as -2 VAR?

Again, apologies if I overlooked that answer somewhere, but I believe it doesn't exactly state this on the first page.

This probably the first time ever that I would send my answers and never looked back on them nor even do any follow before the deadline, I didn't trust Djokovic from the get, I didn't anyone at but my bias for Alcaraz is a flaw glad he's still there though, feels a he stands a chance bar the probable Jannik barrier 

Arsenal feels like I let down for to be honest, I was stuck between them scoring from first half or going overtime/penalties, I felt If Arsenal should get a goal in first half which they eventually, there should be nothing stopping them from winning with -1.5 handicap, apparently I was wrong, glad my rival never got the point for that either.

Lol. It's been a hectic season for me offline, so I've barely paid attention to several reports/posts on the forum, and my posts and activities have decreased slightly. I didn't look at the spreadsheet until a few hours before the deadline, and luckily, I was off site for a launch break when the deadline notification arrived. I've been doing zero research for the past two rounds, but I'll be back stronger soon.

it was up to Djokovic, not sure, but can't really remember him losing to a player outside of top100
but it happened, and triggered a lot of VAR's
and bearing in mind that Alcaraz and Sinner are both in other half, it was a no-brainer to put him reaching finals

since I am usually looking at questions first time on Tuesday morning, didn't even considered this, since already happened when I first have read questions

Ah that is good to know as that does change a few things in terms of submission strategy I guess and the season is still quite long. At some point one might literally be forced to wait and forgo the chance to win free bets due to early submission.


The Arsenal question was well phrased @Trofo and @cryptofrka. All the twists you put into that question made it a really tough one and only two guys got it right. But I didn't think that Porto would be able to put up such a fight in the Arsenal stadium. I hate to say it because I hate Pepe as a player as he prefers to destroy football games rather than play beautiful football, but the way he worked for Porto's defense yesterday was quite impressive considering he just turned 41. That was a smart game by him.

4 guys from division 1 go with an Atletico win tonight, interesting. It is not an easy call despite Inter's outstanding shape. A draw is quite risky as in that case Atletico would open up their defense and may concede a counter attack goal, but I couldn't convince myself of a clear winner after 90 minutes. Just for fun: my assumption is that Atletico takes the lead, Inter strikes back and the game ends 1-1. Let's see whether my crystal ball was correct!

Damn it! I just realized that I probably just lost my round against notblox1. He is already one point up due to Lewandowski scoring one goal. When I was checking the draw I was sure that Acaraz and Sinner were in different parts of the draw, but after seeing your post and double-checking it looks like I have lost that point. The only thing that can save me is if Sinner ends up in the final. notblox1 has him not to qualify and I have him to qualify. That and the fifth answer are only different answers that we have left.

Yup, the general idea was to give you the chance to balance - in case you want to hunt freebets and submit early, there's always VAR that you can use. But use that strategy too much and you might be without one when you need it the most.

It's my fault that I had to use VAR but I actually thought that 1 VAR could be used for all the questions that's why I used it for 2 questions 😁 But everything is good! I expect from my team that this will not happen again 😁

This time it was a perfect case to let it stand. If tournament was played right before the deadline maybe third of the league would be in significant disadvantage to to their time zone. If it was stand alone question and not 1/5 points in it - it would have much higher impact. There are many things to consider and we try to post full proof questions but that is almost impossible for sports like tennis, snooker, DOTA....
