But, here I want to ask @UmerIdrees OP of this thread please add some links related to more information about previous editions because many members are not aware about previous winners, and they want to check stats even this all is easy by google but still if he adds here this could be more helpful for community.

Compared to the old days, slowly PSL is getting visibility around and people away from Pakistan too begun to watch it. At least something positive happening for the Pakistan cricket even things are not solid like we have in other leagues due to security reasons but they are still going to play 8th edition of PSL after few days and few foreign players also will be involving in this which is not bad at all with this all they are currently considered in top five leagues which is also good.

If Pakistan is having some better economical and political stability then surely this league can go above up to second spot after IPL because after India, Pakistan is second populated country in cricketing world with 220 Million population, and they have good fan-base in the Middle East and UK which is helpful for having good viewership for this league, yeah hopefully things could be better in the near future.

Lahore Qalandars started well but ended poorly. In this match, the first innings did not turn out as expected at the end. Except Fakhar Zaman, no one could score good run. Mirza Tahir Baig was racing to play a long innings but the he was caught by poor short on the boundary. Everyone who came in to bat later went back with small scores. PLS S8  the first match is going in the favor of the Multan Sultan as expected and it's my favorite team in the current season let's see how the match is going to end. Currently 99 on No loss for the Multan Sultan in 12 Overs and it's going to be a one-sided match as I can't see 175 as a hard challenge for the Multan Sultan I was expecting at least 190+ from the Lahore Qalandars. RRR is 9.91 as it's T20 so i think we can consider it normal in the ending Overs but now the pressure is on both teams if Lahore manages to get a wicket now then they can fix their comeback in the game.

There was so much drama in last over of the match, zaman Khan the young pacer take responsibility to take last over, he give huge loss to Multan batting lineup because he send 3 player to pavilion by runout them in second, third and fourth delivery of his over,  Multan need 15 runs in last over to win but zaman Khan didn't allow them to get them easily and as a result they just lose 3 player in last over while just got 13 runs unfortunately they lose the first match of HBL PSL by just 1 runs, while from both teams fakhar zaman and Rizwan collect a decent runs of 66 and 75

Agreeing with you , Towards the end of the match, the situation was like holding one's breath. This guy Zaman khan fully changed the direction of this match in the towards. But both teams performance was close to each other .

Yes the first match of PSL gave a lot of joy and enthusiasm among the audience. In the opening match, Lahore batted first and collected 175 runs, losing 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Multan Sultan entered the field with a target of 176 runs. Multan Sultan collected 174 runs losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Lahore Qalandars won this match by just 1 run. Actually the first opening match of PSL was really unusual. It's rare to see such a hard-fought match.
