One thing that I have noticed so far in the PSL is that at least in the batting department, overseas players are dominating the show. Yesterday during the match between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, the top scorers for both the teams were Adam Rossington and Martin Guptill respectively. Out of the 10 top run scorers this season, 5 are overseas players. And Colin Munro and Sikandar Raza are the two players with the best strike rate. Bowling is more dominated by the locals, with Ihsanullah, Abbas Afridi and Shaheen Shah Afridi being the top wicket takers. 

Martin Guptill single handedly won the match for Quetta Gladiators with 86(56)* in psl yesterday match. Karachi kings batted first and managed to accumulate 164 runs for 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. English batsman Adam Rossington played an extraordinary innings of 69 (45) runs.  When Quetta Gladiators came down to bat with a target of 165 runs, no one except Martin Guptill could shine like that. Basically, Martin Guptill's responsible batting led Quetta Gladiators to win against Karachi kings. If Quetta Gladiators win this match, they are at the bottom of the points table.

Martin Guptill has done a great job for the team. Mays was unbeaten till the end and could not score a century for a few runs. The win brought the two teams level on points with Karachi hugely profitable for the Quetta team.

He scores 86 runs in only 56 balls and this was due to this innings Quetta Gladiators were able to win this match. Sacrifices like this happen at times in cricket, especially when Sarfraz Ahmed was run out just as Martin Guptill and Sarfaraz Ahmed were batting as Quetta Gladiators picked up their second win against Karachi Kings in Match 8 yesterday. Had that run out been Guptill's then it would not have been possible for Quetta Gladiators to pull off their second win tomorrow. However, Martin Guptill did not get many strikes towards the end but his impeccable innings of 86 runs was indeed enough to clinch the victory. But Quetta Gladiators have two more matches in front of them and if they can win both the matches then it is only a matter of time if they have a chance to cross the knock out stage. But securing their knockout stage proved to be a tough task.

After losing 5 consecutive games Quetta Gladiators finally got a victory today. Special thanks to Martin Guptill for 86 runs innings on just 57 balls otherwise there is no chance of Gladiator victory today. Quetta both victories are against Karachi Kings, they failed to get victory against anyother team so far in this season. Sarfraz also has a good day with as he scored 29 runs on 25 balls. Its tough but not impossible for Quetta to reach semi final stage.

No doubt game were out of hands for Quetta but with the help of Martin Guptill and captain sarfaraz some how they manage to chase this target. Quetta win this match but it can't help them to move to the next round because it's too late they are almost out of the tournament but they can qualify if Peshawer Zalmi lose his all remaining matches which look impossible but anyway anything can happen lets focus on next upcoming match.

An amazing win for the Quetta in this useless match because they are already eliminated from the top four and have no chance to go into playoffs but they still play with their full heart and win this match from nowhere because while I was watching match, and they have 63/5 after ten overs and their all inform batsmen back to pavilion I stopped watching this match and have changed the channel for other interesting program but here Guptill was at his best, and he has good partnership with his captain Sarfraz which was amazing because these both bring back Quetta into match specially Guptill was in aggressive mood with 86 from 56 balls with the help of 4 sixes change the game momentum for the Quetta, and they have second win of this season which is now heading for the end in next few days.

In this 23rd match of HBL PSL Peshawer face the league table toper Lahore Qalanders who are unbeaten from his previous consecutive five matches. Peshawer won the toss and take decision of bat first and you can't imagine they crushed the top bowling lineup of entire PSL by scoring 207 against them, with a half centuries of one and only captain of Peshawer king Baber Azam and the young monster saim ayub who brutally smashed every bowler. Now Lahore lose his three wicket in powerplay by just scoring 21. Hope Peshawer will win the match and will qualify himself for next round.

In Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars, 23rd Match, Lahore Qalandars is getting very difficult to win. Because to chase 207 runs, it was necessary to reduce the pressure of runs from the power play. But Lahore Qalandars failed to do that. They scored only 22 runs in the first 6 overs and also lost 4 wickets. If they could have presented a normal game, they might have been able to score a good one. They lost this match on the power play. But it is still possible to bring back the match if some one stay in the pitch and be aggressive.

107 runs partnership between Babar Azam and Saim Ayub has done the job for Peshawar Zalmi. Lahore has lost 4 wikcets so far. We saw Quetta Gladiators bouncing back and winning the game after losing 5 wickets for 63 runs. Today target is very high and chances of Lahore Qalandars are very rear but Lahore Qalandars are already through to next round so they won't bother losing this game.

107 runs partnership between Babar Azam and Saim Ayub has done the job for Peshawar Zalmi.

Yeh absolutely the partnership between baber Azam and saim ayub create a stage for middle order to do some power hitting and due to that reason they score high target against Qalanders. Lahore were out of color from start because they lose 4 wickets in powerplay but Shaheen and talat did great job but unfortunately didn't finish the game. Credit goes to wahab and Arshad for Thier magnificent bowling who destroy top order of Lahore before any damage. I think all franchise should learn from Peshawer that how to tackle the Lahore bowler as well as batter. Most of people were underestimating Peshawer but now they show us who they are.

Peshawar Zalmi's players played very well as long as they were on the field but they lost all the wickets before completing the 20 overs. Still they scored 207 runs in 19.3 overs which was a fantastic score. But Lahore Qalandars did not play as well as they managed to play a maximum of 19.4 overs.  Despite playing 1 ball more than Peshawar Zalmi's, they managed to score only 172 runs. So Peshawar Zalmi won by many runs margin.

The number of 200 or more runs in this tournament is the common picture in Pakistan's T20 league in this session. Multan Sultans have given a target of 205 runs in today's 24th match. In the match of Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United, Islamabad United defeated Multan Sultan by 2 wickets.  Multan Sultan batted first and managed to accumulate 205 runs on the scoreboard for 5 wickets in 20 overs. I think 205 runs in 20 overs is a very big score. But the batsmen of Islamabad United saw this target as too small and they gradually crossed the huge target of 205 runs to win this match. Islamabad United won by 2 wickets against Multan Sultans with one ball in hand. By winning this match so far Islamabad United have retained their second position in the points table. Both teams have played a total of eight matches where Islamabad United have collected 12 points and Multan Sultans have collected 8 points.

Multan Sultans need to strengthen the bowling. With T20 cricket we can't pin point any of them as the reason for the loss of the match, even with high scores the team losses. This is common and today it had happened with Multan Sultans and Islamabad United is getting to be more stronger every match. In this season's previous encounter between the two it was Multan Sultans to win the match. Islamabad United wasn't able to chase target of 190 runs, everyone got out for 138 runs. Earlier against Karachi Kings, Islamabad United won the match chasing the target of 201 runs. Among the PSL teams Islamabad United is much known for chasing targets.

First of the three Women's League Exhibition matches will be played today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today. Bismah Maroof will be leading the Amazons, while Nida Dar is the captain of the Super Women. These exhibition matches are being played as a preparation to the WPSL, which will start sometime by September 2023. A total of 5 teams will be competing in the main tournament after 6 months and it is expected that a number of top overseas players from Australia and South Africa will take part.

Amazons have scored 132 runs in there 20 overs and its a competitive target. Aliya Riaz was the top scorer with 38 runs. Amazons got a good start of 46 runs in first 6 oveds but later batsmen (or bats women) were not able to take advantage of that opening stand.

It can be called one of the best matches of Pakistan Super League. Lahore Qalandar's captain Shahensha Afridi performed very well in this match.In this match, Afridi took four wickets with 31 runs in four overs and even came down to bat alongside and scored 52 runs from 36 balls. His strike rate while batting was above 144.
