Most of the time Lahore Qalanders were more dangerous and tough when they bat first and score at least 150 around because everyone know that they have world class bowler like Shaheen , Haris, zaman, Rashid who love to defend. Few matches ago they defend 150 runs again Quetta and you can't believe they won, so defending 200+ runs against Islamabad is
much more comfortable for Lahore bowling lineup.
I taught that after defeat from Peshawer they will lose some point but they comeback more stronger and book his seat in semifinal.

LQ and IU have already qualified for the next round. Yesterday match was of no importance for both teams in terms of qualifying for the next round. No IU batsmen was able to cross 20 yesterday and the main reason is Rashid Khan keep on picking wickets regularly.
Today there is important match between Zalmi and Sultans. The winner will book his place in next round and loser has to compete with Gladiators for next round place.

Lahore Qalandar has the best bowling setup and this is an advantage to them and i reckon they may also win this year's PSL season. Yesterday, they made 226 runs but more importantly they managed to bowl out Islamabad united in only 107 runs which was not even half of 226 runs.
All credit goes to the Lahore Qalandars bowlers and Rashid khan was a star among them and took four wickets for only 21 runs. Zaman Khan and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each and contributed in the success of Lahore Qalandar.

By next round, do you mean knockout phase? In that case it is not that simple. Teams ranked 1 and 2 will play the qualifier, while those ranked 3 and 4 need to go through the eliminator first. As things stand, Islamabad United may end up at the 2nd place, but then there is a small chance that either the Multan Sultans or the Peshawar Zalmi may overtake them. But the advantage for Islamabad United is that their next match is against a very weak side - Karachi Kings. If they win, they will finish as one of the top-2 sides.

We got 4 matches left from the League Stage of this season. Lahore Qalandars hold the top position pretty strongly, and I doubt if they will let anyone overtake them even if they lose their last match and Islamabad United wins theirs Lahore will still be ahead based on their Net Run Rate which is +1.49 while Islamabad's is -0.71. Multan Sultans can still take the second position if they win both their matches against Peshawar and Quetta.

Regarding the 4th position for the Playoffs, Peshawar got more chances since they have two matches in their hands and even if they win one of them, they will qualify for the Playoffs. For Quetta to qualify, Peshawar will need to lose both their matches, and then Quetta will need to win their own match against Multan Sultans with a pretty large margin in order to qualify based on the NRR since both Peshawar and Quetta will have equal points if a scenario like that occurs.
