After had a hard compitation between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United, finally Islamabad United won the final when Multan Sultans was hot choice for that final. Multan Sultans played their best. Earlier out for collecting more runs, made Multan Sultans weak from beginning but due to having strong team, they finished the match with decent runs of 159. Usman Khan scored 57 runs and iftikhar-ahmed proved him one of finisher by making 32 runs from 20 balls. And Islamabad United played good from beginning. But after some point, i found they were struggling and match was going be harder from both team. But finally Islamabad United won the match.

Multan Sultans occupied the first place among the bottom of the points table throughout the match season. But I never imagined that he would perform so badly in the final match. I predicted that Multan Sultan team will definitely win the cup in this match, as they faced Islamabad team in past matches and Muldhan Sultan team performed well there as well. Multan Sultan team has been forced to lose from the final match mainly due to poor batting performance and bowling performance.

Today is the match of Islamabad United vs Multan Sultans and here I would like to talk about history. First of all, you have seen the photo that I have given below. In this you can easily see what I am trying to say, all the captains who lost the matches stand on a side while the captains who won the matches stand on a side in the photoshoot  



Now, let's hope it will work again and for the first time in this PSL. Let's see what happens today at Karachi. Just hope that a huge crowd will come to the Stadium to watch the final match of PSL 9.

This win credits goes to Imad wasim for his outstanding all round performance in batting and bowling win the Final for his team. Multan Sultans played well throughout the series but they lost three consecutive finals in PSL huge setbacks for his team but I hope they will win the Next year.

Yesterday Islamabad United won the PSL and in that match Naseem Shah did a no-ball during the match which is part of cricket but suddenly it went viral on YouTube then Muhammad Amir tweeted about that topic and he said "why it became viral", but I think he forgot that in 2010 he did same a wide no ball which was very similar to that but Naseem No-ball was not too bad but similar with that ball. When he did spot fixing he did a very much wide no ball as Naseem did, but Naseem was not too wide as I said above.

Although I was against Islamabad United in today's match, but I wish and congratulate Islamabad United for winning today's match. The 2024 season of Pakistan Super League ended with today's match and Islamabad United became the champion of Pakistan Super League for the third time by defeating Multan Sultan in today's match in a very competitive environment.
I have enjoyed every match of Pakistan Super League immensely because I really liked the scene of United Islamabad showing gratitude to Almighty Allah at the end of this match. Also I love every Pakistani player so much for thanking Allah Taala.

Yesterday after winning the trophy by Islamabad then few minutes they took the round of ground as all teams did after winning a valuable trophy and as usual they were doing this but when they took the round so they showed the flag of Palestine and said that to do charity for them for this war and not a person did even Alex Hales and other players who came from the outside country was showing the flag of Palestine.

Anyway, at yesterday's match, the ground was full of people and in the previous matches, no one came to the match but in the final everyone came to watch the match.

I supported Multan Sultans from the start of the tournament. Multan Sultans performed very well throughout the tournament, I was hopeful that Multan Sultans would be champions but ultimately failed. Islamabad United's dream of reaching the final was tough, winning both Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 matches to reach the final. But I think it would have been better if Multan Sultans won the toss and chose to bowl in the final match. However, Islamabad United had better luck, eventually becoming champions. Multan Sultans bad luck they could not win the trophy despite playing well in the tournament.

Islamabad United is the champion of this year's PSL. No matter which team win in PSL, they all represent Pakistan so in fact it is Pakistan who has won 

I started this thread in last year's PSL in 2023 and since then it has been a great success. To be honest it is the contribution of everyone here that has made this place truly entertaining and engaging.

We got a good crowd in the final of the PSL, however, the semi finals and other matches played at Karachi were not able to attract much crowd and we saw very few spectators in the stadium during the last part of the PSL matches being played at Karachi.

It is unique to watch cricket matches at the Stadium because there you will find memories and see the match full of energy and with intention. To make noises on the ground and have fun that's why the watching the match at the stadium is much better but at the same time in the big matches the cost of tickets has been increased too much which causes anybody to unable to afford to see at the stadium so in that condition, it is good to see the match at home. Same enjoyment you can also take at home, the same vibes you can also make at home. Both are good options especially if you want to avoid high ticket prices. There are too many reasons to see matches at the Stadium and also at home.

A player who belongs to the small city of Pakistan Shikarpur's poorest side wants to play at Green Jersey and for this, he has to face a lot of difficulties.

In 2021, in the PSL season 6, he made 81 over 50 in his debut match. But the next time, no franchise picked him so he went to UAE and played domestic cricket and small cricket there and then he was picked by a team at BBL after this PSL also wanted to try him and in the last season he made the fastest century ever in PSL 9 history and in top scorer his position is second after Babar Azam.

After doing, this good performance in PSL then PCB wants to see him in thier national team and then he was also selected for Kakul Camp training and now he is training there and left the contract between him and Dubai Cricket. Now he wants to play in Green Jersey and this player name is Usman Khan.

A very good decision taken by the PCB about the PSL 2026 because now it's time for them to expand this and having more teams and cities as well for organizing this event which will increase their fan base in and outside country but sadly few things are still going them which needs to be fixed before having decisions like these, but they are not going ahead about this and everyone is going with his persona ego as they want to hold playoffs in other counties which are not good idea because we are having too many good stadiums and cities which can hold this all without any problem.

Here I want to add one city which also deserve having team and this is Bahawalpur which was one of the richest cities and having amazing traditions I will go for this instead of Gujrat or Sialkot.

My vote is for Hyderabad and Sialkot. Let's see what happened. But it is good news for Cricket and PSL lovers in Pakistan and all around the world.
It also makes a PSL very competitive and interesting. Hope PCB took this decision ASAP.

So PSL 10 draft for 2025 will be on January 11 and it will take place at Gwadar. This time some big names are signing up for the PSL. While warner may be picked by Lahore because they need it as a opening batter also they have first pick to so more likely warner will goes to Lahore.

It's absolutely true that such mentioned player and some other sign up for Pakistan super league and here you can confirm it through your mentioned link, no doubt ipl are top of them in franchise league competition in term of viewership, popularity and player prices and that why player prefer to play here, even when they have important international duty ongoing at same time.
Yep most of ipl unsold player and some other name has decided to be part of Pakistan super league but here few name still make me clueless how can they be unsold in auction like several time ipl high scorrer warner and power hitting factory Mitchell. Anyway such things can help PSL to grow and compete with other league.

I am against the expansion of the league. Pakistan is not a very large economy. Most of the market revenue comes from major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Rawalpindi. And at the moment these cities are already represented by PSL franchises. On the other hand, cities such as Gujrat and Faisalabad are tier-2 cities in Pakistan and in case the franchises are setup for these cities, then they may struggle to generate adequate revenue. Another option is to have multiple franchises for the same city (similar to what they have in BBL). But I am against that idea as well.

It makes sense to add more teams to leagues such as IPL, which generates revenue of more than $1 billion per year. But the revenue generation from PSL is less than 1/10th of that amount. If you increase the number of teams, then what happens is that the sponsorship money and the player fee will get diluted. Previously, the player fee need to be paid for 90 players (assuming 15 players per team), but if the league gets expanded to 8 teams, then 120 players need to be paid. Average salaries may go down, and many of the big players may move out of the PSL.
