The beginning of another hope for Pakistan. PSL trophy is here and the first match is about to start in a few days between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. Just a few days before, Pakistan were hosting the Champions Trophy and lost there on their home ground. Later, Pakistan faced New Zealand and also lost there. So this time, the Pakistan crowd is slowly losing interest in cheering them, but it is the PSL where the winner will be Pakistan. However, I think in this game Islamabad United have more chances to win the game as they have a stronger players compared to Lahore Qalandars.

Pakistani fans have suffered a lot in recent times because they hosted the Champions Trophy and were unable to win a single match against their rivals and tough opponents. Additionally, they lost back-to-back series against New Zealand, which really degraded the morale of the Pakistani team. So, we can say they should play fearless cricket at home.

It's not about the Pakistan national team. There would be almost all players from the national team, other local Pakistani players and international players who would come together for a T20 tournament. They would be not as popular as IPL but it is one of the most watched T20 tournament and would help Pakistan in finding new talents and give platforms to Pakistani players. Pakistani players are still not allowed in IPL which makes PSL a platform for Pakistani players to show their talents but the criticism of the hosting board is something they need to solve quick.

I think due to hosting icc Champions trophy back at home disturb Pakistan super league schedule so that why they shift it to same window with IPL, no doubt it has huge negative impact as many star player whome were part of PSL for several consecutive years like Rashid, Powell, miller, gurbaz, Noor and many other will miss PSL due to same window. But I believe management will think to reconsider his decision as such think will restrict thier league potential growth. Anyway tomorrow will Gona be first clash between Lahore Qalanders and Islamabad United. Let's see who will dominate things, honest as usually I am Gona support Peshawar Zalmi let's see how they continue things.

I am so excited to see Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan mainly. Because Fakhar Zaman was playing very good before the CT but when we needed him, he got injured in the very first game. However, on the other hand Shadab Khan, who is not performing well that is the reason he got out of the tournament but when he came back for the New Zealand tour, he did an average performance, which is nothing surprising. Regarding Zaman Khan, when PCB were trying many different players, they underestimated Zaman Khan and did not select him, so let's see if he performs to get selected.

Pakistan should select some good all-rounders at this time. Pakistan cricket lacks quality all-rounders, which is why they are losing back-to-back series. Without a good all-rounder, it is not possible to expect a team to perform well.

We have become very aware that Pakistan does not currently have good statistics at the international level yet they organize the PSL and perhaps the journey of that PSL will begin today. One thing that is surprising to note is that the Indian Premier League is currently underway, so perhaps there are many famous players there. So at this stage, the chances of having a big name player in the Pakistan Premier League have become slim but there is still hope that the tournament will run smoothly.

I am relieved to see that many of the IPL players will be playing for the Lahore Qalandars franchise in Pakistan we have also observed that some of the familiar faces from the IPL are joining the Pakistan Super League this year, which includes players from Australia and New Zealand.

No matter what is called IPL or PSL, there is no chance that if you have a good player, you will be able to perform well if you have a good player. For example, Sunrisers Hyderabad have many well-performed players in the IPL but they are in the lowest position in the points table at the IPL. The same is true in the Pakistan Super League, having good players is not a guarantee of good performance.

Yep it's excited match to watch where Islamabad United once again showed thier dominance against Lahore and thus with a decent margin divert results in thier favor. Lahore were looking fine to put some ordinary number on board but middle order collapse and early departure of fakhar really push them down and that's why they some how unable to scored enough to defend against united. While on the other hand some classy start from Munro and irresponsible bowling from Shaheen and Haris cost them that defeat at very early match of the tournament to Qalanders. Hope they will work on thier weakness.

I had been eagerly waiting for this league for a long time and now finally, it has started. First match of this competition finished today without any issues. This is one of my favorite leagues and on other side, another my favourite league is ongoing IPL and both are my top favorites league.

In the first match, Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars were participated and this was the thrilling start of competition. We see a big fight among Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars however, Lahore Qalandars performance was weak. Lahore Qalandars squad was begun the first match with batting inning and their batters posted a scores 139 after playing 20 overs as a defend which looking bad. Shadab Khan and Jason Holder both bowlers supported Islamabad United squad by restricting batters of Lahore Qalandars squad to low and both picked up 4 and 3 wickets respectively. On batting inning, Colin Munro inning was superb and he collected 59 scores off 42 deliveries. Congrats Islamabad United for first well deserved victory and leading table with 2 successful points.

Lahore Qalandars performance this time did not live up to expectations. Their performance was not only inconsistent but also lack aggression and planning. I liked the performance of Islamabad United team in throughout the match both batting and bowling. They showed amazing performance. I hope Lahore they will play better in the next match. Islamabad United won by 8 wickets and 14 balls. The 1st match between Lahore and Islamabad team was held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Islamabad won the toss and elected to bowling first. Lahore set a record total runs for 139 and lost the match. Islamabad United chased a total runs for 143 and won the match. The best batting performance in the Islamabad United team was by Colin Munro  scored  59 runs and 42 balls hitting 7 fours and 1 sixs. Congratulations to Islamabad United

The Lahore Qalandars team is not looking good for this season. They lost the first game against Islamabad United. Fakhar Zaman who was their main batsmen and top order player out making a single run while the other opener, who is new, Muhammad Naeem was also out early by scoring just 8 runs but then the good player arrived in the top order Abdullah Shafique who scored 66 in 38 balls and raised the hopes of Lahore Qalandars but still from the other end, back to back wickets were falling and at the end of the innings Lahore Qalandars just scored 139. You cannot win a T20 match with such low scores.
